I had Amazon Prime charge my account for $15.89 after it was cancelled and not only that they didnt charge the card on file for the purchase they tried another card I had on file that caused me to overdraw that account and caused a $30.00 NSF Fee. I chatted with someone on the site chat and the promised me a full refund of $15.89 and $30.00, said it would be 3-5 days. the refund never showed up. I ended up on the phone and talked to a few different people. I was told they will only refund the $15.89. I then spoke to a supervisor who said he sees where I was promised the $45.89 total refund but Amazon has no way of giving me the $30.00 and they will only give me the $15.89 that would take another 3-5 days. I asked to speak to the supervisors boss and he told me that he can no give me his bosses information and he was the highest up I was going to get and that I can file a complaint but had to mail a letter to ******* to do so.

I love Amazon and order from them each month. Their service and products are great. Up until this timeframe, I never had a problem with my orders. However, recently (December 2023) I ordered several items (mostly presents) that came in separate shipments. As a result I was charged twice. I called Amazon to resolve the matter. After being transferred to the accounts department I believe, a rude woman had no sympathy for me. I told her I was a retired senior citizen and had other bills coming in which would be in jeopardy because of the overcharge. The woman never apologized to me and would not give me her name or a reference number. She told me I would receive an email concerning the credit once we were finished with the conversation. She said the money would be credited back to my account in 3 to 5 business days. I held off from contacting my credit union and waited out the 5 days. The money was not refunded, and I called Amazon customer service to get an update. A representative told me there was a glitch in the system, and the money was never credited back to my account. She said it would take another 3 to 5 business days. This representative was very kind and professional. She apologized to me for the inconvenience. I told her I had no faith in them anymore and would be contacting my credit union to dispute the charges. She told me that would probably be best, and I did. Such a bad experience. Amazon needs to retrain their employees (especially this rude woman in accounts, whoever she is) on sensitivity and professionalism when dealing with distraught customers. I spend well over $2,000 each year on Amazon.com, and I deserve better customer service.

Long time Prime member here. I'm canceling my membership after seeing they will be adding advertisements to Prime video to "help us keep investing in compelling content". This is a half a trillion dollar a year company and they want to charge $2.99 more to get rid of advertisements.

So Amazon whats to start putting advertisements in the prime subscription for video and their just going to do it in Jan ****, so does that open up a case for a lawsuit for breach of contract for prime subscribers who have already renewed for the subscription that didnt include advertisements with prime video? And then they want to charge more to take the advertisements out after Ive already paid for that service?

Amazon is a complete rip off! I noticed in the last month they charge my account twice. They charged once when the order is made the. Again several days later for shipping. When I call to inquire about these charges the first agent said yes I am a customer and it has happened to me! Then they attempted to transfer me to billing and the call ends! I call back and explain again and they attempt to tell me no its just a hold and the calls end after they review my account. Several customer service people tell me they see the charges but can do nothing and Billing keeps hanging ** in my face. This place has gotten THOUSANDS off my account. And NO ONE can resolve it.

I have been in a return dispute since early October. This product sold to me was Through Evercross, however the original business dealing was through Amazon and a company named HM Sports in ******. The product was purchase with an Asurion warranty costing ***** the electric scooter purchase was over ******. The scooter broke down before Amazon's 30 day policy, so Amazon replaced the product immediately within 2 weeks the new scooter arrived and we returned the defective product. Just barely past 4 weeks from the product exchange, the second scooter, of course, started the same issues with charging and power cutting in and out. I contacted Amazon and they told me that they can no longer help me. The second scooter's defects caused my so to get hurt. And I went online to Asurion and filled out a claim and I heard nothing back from them. So today I contacted Amazon again. Now the warranty no longer shows up through the web site and customer care is starting to become rude to me. Today I was hung up on. after being told this is not Amazon's problem. I can't receive a credit or warranty help at all through Amazon. Over ****** was spent for an Electric Scooter. The Evo 8e that injured my son. I can't get help through whatever avenues I have gone down it always dead ends. I am a Amazon Prime member and am being swept under the rug.

Amazon stole my money. I received a damaged package where it was half open when I received the package and the books inside were damaged. I informed an Amazon associate through the customer service option, and they told me that I would receive a refund for the damaged books, and to not return them. I no longer have the books, and Amazon didn't want them returned, and so I purchased other presents. Now Amazon is saying they won't refund the money, because I don't have the books, which they previously told me I didn't need. I fought trying to receive the refund I was promised. But they have denied the refund, they previously said I would be given. They basically played and lied to me, and there is nothing I can do. I am just out the money and Amazon and their associates at customer service are completely okay with this.

Amazon has always made any problems I have had right. However this time big no. My order was pushed back two times so arrival after Christmas. I cancelled the order and picked up my product at Best Buy. 5 days and no credit from Amazon. I called and was told the item was still being returned. Poor delivery service is why I went elsewhere. That isn't all I was told it could take up to 30 days for Apple product credit. This is not the way I have been treated in the past. So I will start buying more local.

Amazon does not honor what customer service agents tell customers. I called regarding a bundled refurbished computer set. The monitor did not work. I contacted Amazon **************** and was told I had the option of doing a returnless refund. I even clarified with the agent. The agent went as far as to ask how I wanted my refund. I told the agent how to refund my purchase and then the chat had an interruption and a new agent started chatting. They looked into the issue and said it would need lead approval. Then came back to the chat stating it wasn't an option. I asked the agent to honor what I was told and they said they couldn't cause it wasn't an option. I asked the agent why the first agent stated it was an option and she herself said she would need lead approval to get it completed. Obviously it was an option. Is this what Amazon is coming to? What about honoring what the customer is told by agents that they train. Amazon should have honored what thefirsted agen promised and the 2 agent stated approval would be needed for. I have been in the customer service industry for more than 20 years and I have never felt like I had been so blantely lied to. BEWARE of Amazon. This might not have happened to you yet, but be warned it definitely will at some point. I do have screen shots of this interaction.

I purchased a prime subscription and they cancelled in 2 days and suspended my account. I called the customer care and asked them, they said I have a create a new account, which is fine. But, I asked them about the reccuring charges for the prime and their suggestion is to call the bank and cancel the card. Which is awful.
