      Do not get a membership here. This gym is terribly run. I've been trying to cancel my membership since October, but I can't get any response from a managerno calls or emails. I've spoken with *** and ********* at the front desk, who gave me the name of someone (starting with Q) who no longer works there, and then ********* They told me that because I no longer have the sent email to 'Q,' theres no proof that I contacted him. (I delete my emails after 30 days to clear up space.) I asked them to check his email account, but they said they couldn't do that. So, how can they prove I didn't email him? In the meantime, I've been charged for six extra months of membership for a gym I haven't attended in seven months. Fortunately, my credit card was compromised, so they can no longer continue charging me. I called again today and was told theres still a balance for one more month, and they wont cancel my membership until its paid. I reminded them that I haven't been there in over six months and have still been paying. I refused to pay another month, and was told Id be sent to collections. The owners really need to figure out how to manage this gym. This is obviously an issue as there are multiple negative reviews for membership cancellation.

      I left a review on their ****** profile as well. After I did that, the manager contacted me and resolved the issue. You may close this complaint as they have already contacted me with a resolution.

      I was receiving boxing lessons from one the employees at UFC fit starting in September for $187. I told the trainer I could not complete the training anymore because it was becoming expensive and I could not afford it anymore. The trainer told me that he would handle it and remove me from training sessions. I asked one of the workers at the front desk if my training was cancelled and the lady told me that it was cancelled. So I began to work out everyday by myself. I recently found out this month that I had a reoccurring charge on my card for training sessions. I brought the issue up to one of the managers and he told me that he would look into the problem any get back to me in a couple of days. Over a week has passed and I called regarding if the issue would be resolved and I would get a refund. Another manager had told me they would not give me a refund for services I did not receive.

      When I first signed up for the gym I was charged $294.80, on August 19th, 2024. 5 days later I was charged $147.40. This is what the normal monthly charge is. However, in my membership agreement the money I paid on August 19th covered this month and last months coverage. I was charged again for my regularly monthly charge ($147.40) on September 24th. I reached out to *** via email to ask about the extra charge I had in August and they referred me to speak to someone in the club. When I spoke to someone in the actual gym, the same person who signed me up. He informed me that the system had double charged a few different members and they were working to refund us. When they were unable to refund me they offered me a free month in October. I was again charged on October 16th the amount of $147.40. I was told by their upper management that it should bounce back. It never did and they offered me a free membership till December. I have requested a refund multiple times and they are unwilling. I feel like at this point, this is not proper business practice and just simply would like my money back and to cancel my membership. Yet every time I go in, no one who can do this is either working or available at the time.

      December 19, 2022 - Contacted regional manager ******************************* via email with a message that stated "I wanted to cancel my membership, along with my account number, contract start date and membership type and my contact information. To this date I have never received a response from ********************. December 20, 2022 - Contacted general manager *********************************** via email with a message that stated "I wanted to cancel my membership, along with my account number, contract start date and membership type and my contact information. December 20, 2022 - I physically went into the gym at ****************************************************************** and signed and dated a cancellation form, a U GYM, LLC, or UFC Fit staff member also signed the cancellation form.December 21, 2022 - Charged for two months of membership fees, December and January. December 23, 2022 - I reached out to *** Fitness Solutions, the billing company for U GYM, LLC, or UFC Fit. I asked why I was being charged for two months of membership fees just because I cancelled my membership. I was informed by *** Fitness Solutions that they would try to fix the issue. December 23, 2022 - I reached out to U GYM, LLC, or UFC Fit again to try to spoke with the "Operations" Manager ***************************. ******* did nothing but tell me he would reach out to the company that does U GYM, LLC, or UFC Fit's billing and someone would be getting back to me. Well, no one ever got back to me. December 26, 2022 - I could see on this date that U GYM, LLC, or UFC Fit, and *** Fitness Solutions didn't do a thing but take $23.50 out of my **** account, which I didn't authorize.December 26, 2022 - *********************************** sent a text message from ************ that read "I am currently busy, please call ************ ("Operations" Manager). December 26, 2022 (updated) - *********************************** stated that my account would not be cancelled unless I gave them money. There was no information given about the inaccurate billing or the unauthorized transactions. January 26, 2023 - U GYM, LLC or UFC Fit pulled an additional $42.90 from my **** account and I didn't authorize this. January 31, 2023 - U GYM, LLC or UFC Fit refused a letter from the **************** ************************** The address on file listed under UBI: *********** or UBI: ***********, Address: ******************************************************************. Note: *************************** the "Operations" Manager gave me third party information and stated the regional manager ******************************* didn't do anything to fix the issue because I had been late with two payments before. U GYM, LLC, or UFC Fit is notorious for pulling funds before the due date, and I put limits on my **** to not allow this, this was discussed before I signed my contract on May 21, 2022.

      I am a truck driver, so I am out of town quite often. I tried canceling my membership last month after I paid it in full the management told me that I needed to come in person. I told them that was not an option for me. Can we do a E electronic signature? They said no. I asked them if they could mail the papers, I did not get a response to that request.I called this month three times to make sure that my membership was indeed canceled and every time their response was we will not cancel your membership until you come in person and again I told them that was not a option for me I am a over the road truck driver and spend most of my time out of state. I have not used their facility but 1 time in five months their response was that doesnt matter. They once again are charging me for the month of January after I already tried to close out my membership the month prior owing them nothing now theyre telling me that theyre going to take me to collections if I do not come in person, I find this to be unprofessional, I believe this to be another way that they can continue to charge people in hopes that they will forget they even have a membership I owe these people nothing I have not used their facility but once in five months and want my account closed. ********* is the *** manager in Puyallup Washington. She is the one that has threatened me with collections , they have left voicemails stating this,that I have saved. I have also saved the messages that we sent back-and-forth and then refusing to cancel my membership. Can you please help me get this resolved? Thank you.

      November 2021 I signed up for a gym membership at UFC Fit in Puyallup, WA. In May of 2022, I told ***** (their membership coordinator at the gym) that I wanted to add my fiance **** to my gym membership account. He took me to his desk and proceeded to set up a gym membership for my fiance. At no point did he ever state that **** would be having her own separate gym membership that would not be linked to mine. He had me sign the standard documents, stating that they were to ensure payment would be received from for the added membership amount, etc. June 2022 I went into the gym to cancel the gym memberships under my name due to a surgical procedure that would prevent me from working out for 6+ months. I continued to be charged $78 a month and would call each month explaining to the front desk what was happening. They stated they did not see any accounts open under my name, show the cancellation as of June 2022, and stated the charge must be a mistake. This cycle would continue to happen I asked for a manager in October 2022. I emailed *************************** in October 2022, and would not receive any response until October 2022. In December 2022, someone at the front desk finally looked further into the issue and found that my fiance had her own separate account which I did not ask for, and she technically did not sign for. ***** had ME sign all the documents for ****'s account. ******* stated he would request a refund of payments for ****'s account. *************************** would then stop responding to emails. I escalated it to ******* who claimed to be the General Manager at UFC Fit in Puyallup. She also stated she would file a refund. Now, January 2023, I have had to call 3 or more times. They make me re-explain the entire issue. They will not file a refund claim for the 6 months that I have been trying to resolve this issue with their corporate office, and refuse to respond to emails or phone calls. They would me roughly $700.
