On May 5th 2022, I received an alert from my bank account that a transaction of $800 dollars was attempted on my debit card from Marysville HIT Fitness. Fortunately my debit card declined the transaction. This gym bought out PA Fitnesss Marysville location about 3 years ago. I have been going to PA Fitness for about five years and I still regularly go to. I signed my contract with PA Fitness to continue with them all those years ago and somehow HIT Fitness has my personal information and has attempted on multiple occasions to charge my bank account. I have never signed a contract with this gym and I will never sign a contract with HIT. I want an explanation to why they think it is okay to try and rob me and why they will not remove me and my personal information from their system. The owners business practices NEED to be investigated, as I am not the only one they have tried charging an absurd amount of money for when I have never spoken with or signed anything from this gym.

2019 we were verbally notified by PA Fitness Arlington front desk that the Marysville and Arlington locations would be splitting Into PA Fitness and Hit Fitness. The person at the front desk did mention we would need to make a decision on which gym we would like to attend. We let the front desk know at that time that we were actually moving away and would be attending a new gym there, so we would like to cancel. The front desk thanked us and said no further action was required. This was October 2019. PA Fitness sold our contract and billing information (even though it was cancelled) to Hit Fitness who continued charging us for 13 months of use without our knowledge or consent. The reason we didn't notice for so long is because we thought the payments coming out were from our new gym at our new location, who agreed to charge us the same amount as we were previously charged by PA Fitness.January 2021 we finally realized we were still being charged. We found out Hit Fitness was charging us and we were able to cancel immediately. However, when we asked about refunds for the previous months of overpayment, not only were we told "no", but we were belittled and made to jump through hoops with no progress. **** (an owner) blamed us for taking so long to notice, saying "if you bring this in front of a judge, they won't do anything because it took you so long to notice." ******* (an owner) stated in a phone call that he would contact PA Fitness to help us come to a resolution. After a week of waiting for an update, I called again and ******* yelled at me stating "this isn't our problem, talk to ****. You can call all you want but I'm not doing anything about it".My wife and I have spent the past year+ trying to get a refund. PA Fitness didn't comply with customer notification laws required to transfer our contract, but Hit Fitness belittled and attacked me as a former customer and supportive member of the community. We paid $1,200 to a gym we never attended
