My father passed earlier this year and I wanted to get back into working out to relieve some stress I was having. I was trying out difference gyms in the Kirkland area to see which ones would be a good fit for me. Unfortunately, I went to Sasquatch Strength in downtown Kirkland to see if I could try it for a week. I met with *************************** and talked to her about my goals and just wanted to see if this gym would be a good fit. Sasquatch Strength doesnt have a trial week you can try you have to a sign a contract. This should have been the first red flag for me. ***** said you can try it out for 12 days in 30 days and if its not a good fit call back within 30 days and we will refund you the money. I signed up on March 24, 2023, and they charged my card $242.44. I attended two classes, and I knew it wasnt the right fit for me. I called Sasquatch Strength on Friday, April 21, 2023, to cancel my membership. They proceeded to tell me I needed to cancel online. So, I did that and instead of refunding me the money they proceeded to take an additional $109.10 out of my account. I called **************** to talk to *****, on Saturday, April 22nd but she was with a client. I asked the front desk person to have her call me. ***** hasnt called me back. ***** blatantly lied to me to get me to sign the contract but wont give me the common courtesy to call me back. Sasquatch Strength didn't give me a copy of the contract.
