    It's been 3 months since Alta caused flood in my unit during their repair of my unit. The business owner, *********************************** promised me, HOA, and my insurance company that he will take the full responsibility and needed 2 additional weeks to repair and complete the entire work. I have demonstrated extraordinary patience and granted him ample time to rectify this situation in the past 2 months, but ****** continuous lies, excuses and absences constitute a breach of the contract. I'm at my wit's end, as I witness their constant absence from the repair work and a trail of empty promises. While I understood that unforeseen situations may arise, I cannot stress this enough that their absence, lack of communication and progress are inexcusable. Based on ****** final estimate and commitment, I offered him an absolute last chance to remedy the situation immediately and complete the repair by ***. July 28th, 2023. But again, he failed to show up and no progress was made. He also promised to reimburse me $1,000/week if the work remained unfinished after Friday, July 14th. This is already the 4th week since then, but of course nothing is paid back and even the $500 credit he was supposed to give me for not being able to install a new door is not reimbursed either. All the additional work I paid him separately to upgrade my bathroom and office space remain unfinished (No toilet bowls are installed, no electrical outlet is installed, etc.) I urged him to treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and act immediately to remedy the situation to demonstrate the professionalism I initially expected, but he once again made an empty promise and made zero progress since my final warning on 7/30. At this point, I need him to reimburse me the money of the repair (or pay to a new contractor to complete the repair immediately as he chose not to show up and made no progress of what he's already paid to do. $47,828.68 paid ($28,321.40 estimated to complete the repair)
