DONT hire this ********** your research 1st and you will vastly change your ********** rip-off, fast talkers who are nothing more than salesman looking to take your bucks. Oh, on day 1 they will make it sound so great, work 10 hours a week and theyll set everything up to start making 5 to 6K a month to start. Will call you consistently for 3 days, but on day 4 you will never hear from them again..( 3 day Residual to cancel). It had been close to 3 months and I still didnt have a working site. I text/called several times to my salesman with no response from Feb 2-April 1. So I posted a review/complaint to the BBB and the very next morning my salesman reached out to say his 8 month pregnant wife and him was out of the country for a month on vacation ?? 8 months pregnant and you go to another country for a month? He had some high up employee call me and he said the reason I didnt have a working site is because I had a felony on my record. I didnt have as much as a speeding ticket on my record let alone a felony..he bullied me and threatened me and I shouldve stood my ground then. They had a female employee(*****) call me and she said she very much worked in a mans world as well, and if I would take my complaint down, she would personally take over my account and cover all the cost and get it up and running, because she had sold two successful online businesses for over 100k. She even texted me what to say to the BBB and to sign my name to it, which I did and here we are 8 months later and I still have not had one sale nor have I ever heard from her again either. More untruths. Its nothing like the spill they present you day 1. I do not have buyers remorse, I held up my end of the bargain and invested expecting them to do the same. if youre looking to make extra bucks, part-time at Amazon ****** because youll make a h*** of a lot more money than you will with them. BBB rating in was April D, today its an F. That should tell you everything you need to know.Initial Complaint

First it starts out about like everyone else that has complained. They talk to you tell you it's a great opportunity then they send you to a credit specialist. This guy logs into your computer and goes to whatever site he can to get you free credit lines(Discover and Marriott Bonvoy brilliant cards)has you sign up as he guides you through it and once you get approved you talk to the "head vp" guy (*************************** for me) and he wheels and deals you telling you this is going to be so great for you. Then tells you a price and told me I couldn't read the contract because there were other people that were jumping at the opportunity. Well it was signed on a Friday 12/8/2023. I end up reading the contract over the weekend and you only have 3 business days to cancel. Called ******* who wouldn't answer all of Monday and Tuesday of course. I email ******** email trying to cancel and it bounces back. I look over the entire contract only finding one email so of course I send an email to cancel(**********************************). No one ever answered that email. ******* eventually gets back to me a week later and I told him I sent and email cancelling the contract to the email I had and him but his bounced back. I told him I wanted a refund. He was less than nice telling me that's not how a contract works and argued with me. He eventually stopped and tried to play it cool. Because of this conversation and ******* being rude to me I called Discover and told them there had been fraud on the card. A day later ******* texts my phone telling me my card has been refunded in its entirety and best of luck in my future endeavors. Because I called fraud and cancelled my card, Launchpad finds out and they dispute the charge and now discover will not let it go because they said I didn't dispute. This is a total scam trying to find people just to sign their contract so you can't get out of it!Initial Complaint

On 9-1-23 I received a call from ******* from My Tracking Biz re starting an online business. I explained numerous times that Im not computer literate, literally before I knew what had happened I was on the phone with **************** getting a credit card and starting an online business. I am an almost 70 yro retired woman with absolutely no internet experience. I'm on a fixed income and told the man on the phone exactly this. Every time I told him this which was repeatedly he went on to say that I would have someone building my online store and that someone would walk me thru everything. He went on to say that he was going to try and get me to this big wig ******* who by the way hardly ever spoke to anyone but he was going to talk with him about me because I was so absolutely hesistant about doing this. The cost of this was never brought up at this time. I was told that ******* agreed to speak with me which was highly unusual. When ******* got on the phone it was like I was speaking with a fatherly type of man. Knowing my issues he assured me that "if I didn't feel I could do this to let him know and we would, part friends". Little did I know that I would owe him $8000. Also this all happened so fast, they had access to my computer, sent me over contracts, called AMEX , called Chase, and other places to get more credit cards. This all happened within a matter of 1 hour. When I got off the phone I literally didn't know what hit me. While on the phone they also had me sign a contract which I thought I had 30 days to resend due to the extensive phone conversation with ******* regarding my hesitancy in doing this.. After saying this was something that I was not comfortable doing. I never really knew what I was suppose to do and I told numerous people exactly that. When I told them that they literally would not let me cancel. After numerous angry phone conversations where they threatened with there lawyers they offered me $4000 back. I cannot afford that also my credit has already been affected. They sent me a cancellation form refunding me $4000. I can't afford that either. I'm not sure at this point if I should contact a lawyer. I never had a chance to research this company but I think that's there tactic. Older people without knowledge of the internet. I feel like I have been physically abused. I'm sick my ** is sky high and in debt!Customer Answer

July 3rd I paid $5500.00 for help to set up retail website, I had no computer experience. They claimed they would train me, but the coach that was to instruct me said he would not do it, said I would have to go to a computer store. They also use that app ANYDESK to access your phone and computer and insisted on using passwords prior to any communication between their coaches and me. When I realized that the program was beyond my capabilities, I tried to opt out, but they refused, so I filed a dispute with my credit card **. The head of Launch Pad named **** was verbally abusive and told me if I retract the dispute I would get a refund, he connected me with the credit card ** with ANYDESK and listened while I retracted the dispute, then only refunded $1500.00. I have since restarted the dispute. I've had no more contact with Launch Pad. Also, they give you a very small window in which to ask for a refund, it was either 3 days or 5 days I can't recall, however that time runs out before the coaching begins so by the time you realize the program is not something you are capable of mastering it's to late to get your money back without enduring verbal abuse at the hands of ****. I would like to receive the remaining $4000.00 of my investment as the program was to difficult for me due to no computer experience. I also believe I was targeted because my wife had passed away just 3 months prior and I suspect they glean that information from public records for people who may be more vulnerable to making rash decisionsCustomer Answer

About May 26, 2023 I received a phone call from Launch Pad Group, LLC from *******, ********** who told me they would build a website for me that would make between $8,000 and $12,000 a month.Im 79 and need to retire, so I listened to their spiel. The man wanted to check my credit so I let him look at my Experian account, and my FICO was over 800. I also had about $40,000 of credit available. He pressured me into letting him charge $10,000 from the first bank, then pressured me into charging $6,000 on another bank, then said they needed another $16,500 on another bank and suddenly I was conned into charging $32,500 on my credit cards for them to build a website. My FICO score also went down ******************************************************************************* and he said the site would produce enough income starting in June to pay any credit card bills.I was scared and felt used by the whole thing as a gullible senior, but I didnt know what to do and felt trapped. Its now August and the site has never made one sale or produced one ***** of income, and I have been getting the credit card bills of about $600+ a month, and dont have enough money to pay them.I have since found out that the company goes by several names including ****************************************** and PurGroup.I have filed charge disputes with my three banks, and they are in the process of reversing the charges and recovering the funds. I have also filed a Police Report with the ********* Police Department.for fraud and senior elder financial abuse.Business Response

Hello,
Please see the attached response for complaint # ********Customer Answer

Complaint: 20475248
I am rejecting this response because I was subjected to intense pressure by the sales representative, *********************, who overwhelmed me with his words and bullied me into agreeing to his sales pitch. No matter what the lawyer or the company says, I was manipulated into going along with their high-pressure scheme to get me to agree with their expensive program.Of course, they set it up so that a person would be recorded saying what they wanted them to say to make it appear that that they were totally in the clear and the client was voluntarily agreeing to everything. The truth is, there was a heavy undercurrent of fear to make a client feel like that they had to go along with the wording and agreements or mess the deal up. I was afraid to disagree with their recorded statements with that aura of bullying and fear.
I reiterated over and over again to ************** that I did not want to endanger my credit rating in any way, and especially did no want to do anything that would cause me to participate in a program that would not produce sufficient income and do it quickly enough to pay any bills that would come in. He assured me that the program would produce sufficient income to pay the credit cards before they came due. He misled me with that and after I reluctantly allowed him to pressure me into borrowing an obscene amount of money, over $30,000, for their program, sure enough, the bills started coming in by the hundreds of dollars but their program didn't produce one single sale.
Realizing that their program was a high-pressure scheme to get people to invest money they could not afford to lose, and feeling highly taken advantage of, I told the three banks he pressured me into borrowing the money from that I was disputing the charges and they agreed and pulled the money back into my credit accounts.
Because of their tactics, I went from owing less than $5,000 in the world and having a credit score over 800 to suddenly owing over $35000 and now having a credit score of just over 700..The program was a total failure and ********************* left me a voice mail in which he stated that the company had failed me and did not do what they said they would do. As a result of this whole fiasco, I have had to fight depression, fear, facing potential financial ruin because of their high pressure sales techniques and bullying me, a senior 79 years old into signing up with their empty program.
I believe I have been a victim of elder financial abuse by a dishonest company. If they are honest and fair, they will relieve me from any and all signed agreements and allow any and all funds that I mistakenly allowed to be borrowed and placed into their non-performing money-making scheme.to be returned and restored to my banks.
Sincerely,
*******************

April 1, ************************************************************************************* so I could sell Pet products. the *** *************************** who assured me it was going to be a great investment for me. I am a single mom of two boys, I am living with my parents and In August of 2022 I injured my shoulder causing me to 100% not be able to do my career which is Massage Therapist. No income since August. I explained everything to ******* and he insisted this was a perfect program for me if I had the time to put into the business I could be making a great income by the middle of this year. I was forwarded to a representative of Launchpad, who, I told everything too again, and he insisted I could make it work. My credit was 820+ and he told me I could get approved for business credit cards to get started. He remote logged into my phone and was showing me which cards to access. I applied for two AMEX cards, when I reminded him I had NO income he told me to put $65,000 because they don't do income checks. I was approved for two cards, one at $10,000 the second at $8,000. Launchpad charged me $10,000 for their web making services. They put me in touch with two other companies Outlook Consultants and eCommers in the same location. These two companies were for more assistance in making my website get traffic and get noticed on social media. Outlook charged me $8,800, and eCommers charged me $10,000, so in total $28,800. At sign up they asked me to be recorded and answer to yes and no questions. Two of which consisted of opening cards at my own will, and a second to not being promised a refund or any money outcome from their services. I answered truthfully. In may I was promised by a representative of eCommers $28,000-$30,000 income by 90 days, And as of today, July 8th I have obtained ZERO $ and the training is once - twice a month. Not at all what was told to me in the beginning. I asked for a refund and to cancel and was told I would not get a refund at all.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:Customer satisfaction guaranteed. For the money I spent on each service, the satisfaction was NOT there. I did not make payments - they took everything up front. Launchpad Group LLC - $10,000, Outlook - $8,800, e-commerce - $10,000. Where nothing was promised at the time of signing up, which is what was recorded by them of me saying so, there was talk of high success, and after those questions were asked and recorded - things were promised. And so when those things that were promised were not seen was when everything went down a sour path. For the price they charged me, satisfaction should be immediate.
I have attached reviews from other customers of Launchpad group LLC with the same negative outcomes as mine, within the last one to three months.
************************************, ****, ****** and *** ALL promised success, and told success stories to keep the process going. And when things were not satisfying to me, it turns around to me being the liar.
All three companies use an app called Any Desk, its where you give someone remote access to your phone - computer or laptop. **** was the individual who used Any Desk to remote into my phone. It was him who pulled up the websites for each card to be applied for. It was my information, and his voice to proceed in putting $65,000 for income because they dont check the income. He had knowledge of which cards didnt require income checks. Both Launchpad Group LLC and Outlook made two charges to the two AmEX cards that were assigned to me. Both of the charges on the cards equaled just shy of maxing out the cards. The amounts left on each card was the exact amounts that the cards annual fee was. Those annual fees came out a week after the charges from the company. So they have the knowledge of exactly everything to take out of your card. He assisted me in the opening of the cards that they knew just how much to charge on them.
Anytime after June 29th when ****** told me via text that they wanted to refund me and cancel, the calls just went from bad to worse. It was a hook to get me on the phone so he could tell me that I didnt deserve any kind of refund because the companies didnt do anything wrong. So yes! I disputed with my cards, and reported them to you, the BBB. ****** did threaten me with lawsuits that I would never be able to pay.
This is three companies against me, a customer. Someone who wanted and needed their help and I 100% feel taken advantage of and am not satisfied. I do not feel any of the names I have mentioned have been professional, as people who work for a company like that should be. I do not feel they are honest in anything they do, because everything in my first complaint and this revised complaint are not lies they are the truth.
As for Launchpad Group LLC commenting that the other two companies need to be personally addressed, they are in the same building, I was transferred from one person to the next to the next between all three companies. The person who conducted the compliance call was the same person for all three recordings.
There will be no more communication between me and the company as the representative of that company, ******, is dishonest himself, belligerent, and rude.
Sincerely,
*********************Business Response

This is in response to **************** second complaint against Launchpad Group, LLC (hereafter Launchpad). Essentially, **************** claims are that Launchpad owes her a [c]ustomer satisfaction guarantee and that Launchpad promised [her] success ifshe purchased Launchpads services.
We take **************** allegations seriously and have investigated them thoroughly and determined they are utterly without merit. Specifically, the business relationship between ************** and Launchpad is governed by a written contract. We have reviewed the written contract and it does not contain a customer satisfaction guarantee. To the contrary, the written contract states in bold print and capital letters:THE COMPANY DOES NOT REPRESENT OR GUARANTEE THAT IF
YOU USE ITS SERVICES YOU WILL RECEIVE SALES, REVENUES,
PROFITS, OR SUCCESS.Moreover, prior to approving the written contract or accepting any money from **************, a verifier contacted ************** by telephone on a recorded line and told ************** that Launchpad could not guarantee that if she purchased Launchpads services she would be successful or that her business would be profitable. ************** responded by stating that she was aware Launchpad was not guaranteeing her success or any amount of earnings.
Given the clear evidence that ************** was informed both in verbally and in writing that Launchpad was not guaranteeing her success, her claim that Launchpad owes her a customer satisfaction guarantee is disingenuous. Under the circumstances, we see no reason for Launchpad to provide ************** with the refund she demands. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss this matter further.
Sincerely,
LAW OFFICE OF **********************

I am rejecting this response because:
This company has shown that they are nothing less than scammers and fraudulent. They cover their butts on a recorded line - and then promises are made and unrealistic goals are set off recorded lines just so they can say - but the customer agreed and we have it on record so when a customer says hey these promises you told me these stories of success and goals you set arent even close to being met they come back with you agreed that our services dont guarantee you success or an income then why in the world does every representative working there say that? Because they are stories for them to get thousands of dollars right up front from you and then leave you hanging and not give you the satisfaction for success. If a company is going to take thousands of dollars from you - no matter what, satisfaction better be met. In every way that is scamming someone out of money. And that is what Launchpad Group has done, and that is why I came to the BBB because their company should NOT be allowed to get away with lying to customers to get thousands and get away with it.Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:as I have stated before, everything that they have recorded like the representation they provided was correct. I answered honestly, what I am claiming is off record and is me against between **** representatives of Launchpad group - there were no recorded conversations after the ones they recorded and are supplying in their defense. I am claiming after the fact that YES promises were made, I have notes that I wrote down when being told them and by who with phone numbers. But when I mentioned that before, their rebuttal back was we looked into it and there was nothing found that that was said so its false and shes lying guess what Im not. I am speaking my truth and the company is lying. Its the entire company against me. I wanted out, they said they would refund and cancel my contract and any time I called in to talk to ****** it turned into a im lying and I dont deserve anything because the company didnt to anything wrong. It didnt do anything right either.
they can keep sending recorded conversations - that I dont deny. But they are denying anything said afterwards and ** telling you that promises were made, promises of success and huge monthly income. That their services are successful and - no nothing was received on that high level. Hold yourselves accountable Launchpad group and the other two companies affiliated with you.
I have proof from other people that they took their money and didnt deliver services.
Sincerely,
