      Horrible experience with this moving company! The movers were scheduled for 8am and did not arrive until almost 10am then had to leave to get the truck weighed as **** did not communicate to them it was needed for the military move. We were moving three hours away and they didnt get the truck loaded until 2pm and didnt arrive to the new city until 6:30pm. They finally finished unloading all the furniture at almost 9pm with 3 movers! The bill was much higher than quoted due to the delayed time and hourly rate for the movers. Upon waking the next day we realized the $1300 sofa chair was damaged with puncture holes, tears and grease stains and the $2500 sofa had grease stains all over the arms and the back. I submitted a claim that morning as I just purchased the furniture in spring of this year and was told I declined insurance and they could only reimburse .60 per pound for the damage! The insurance was never offered. In reviewing the documents that were sent via email there was only a signature line agreeing to the damage policy. Horrible customer service. When I expressed my discontent I was told by **** well I think we both can agree this move didnt go as planned I would advise listening to the many negative ****** reviews and going with another moving company.

      The coordination process for our residential move was streamlined and simple. We really appreciated the check-ins and attention to detail from the admin team.The moving crew - **********, *****, and KJ - were nothing short of incredible. Im at work today and my team is commenting on how calm I am after a weekend of moving. That is entirely because the crew was exceptional. I've hired moving crews for work purposes before (not D1, unfortunately), and they were always late, spent too much time goofing off, and things ended up broken. While I haven't hired movers for personal moves before and some of this might seem like "that's just their job," I still think this crew went above and beyond.**********, *****, and KJ were practically angelic. They were so incredibly efficient, communicative, patient, and KIND. I mention the patience and kindness because I am not used to not helping when it comes to things like this, but they made me feel at ease with just being a bystander for this one. We couldn't believe how efficient they were and that nothing was broken (not a dent, scratch, nothing.) They set us up for success when it came time to unpack and were even able to enjoy our weekend a bit because we ended up having more time than we anticipated. Can't recommend them enough.
