    We purchased a lift chair for my grandfather last August 2024, in March 2025 it would not recline. Phone *** said we needed a new remote and gave us 3 weeks to get it. It is almost July and still have not received it. Every time I call about it they keep giving us the same excuse about it being on back order and telling us to wait another 2 weeks. When we call, they extend the wait time another 2 weeks. Meanwhile we have a chair that doesn't work, I have to lift and carry my grandfather in and out of another regular recliner chair we have. Very unhelpful, all they tell us is to wait. No follow up call no concern for anything. Do not order from them! We are getting ready to take this to our local news. If you can't get a remote than ship us a new chair and take this useless pile I have sitting here back. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!

    I purchased the "Perfect Sleep Chair" from "Journey Health & Lifestyle (formerly FirstSTREET)" in June 2021 for my 88-year-old partially disabled father after his stroke, who relies on it for sleeping and daily activities. While the chair itself is not bad, the **customer service experience has been a complete nightmare**, and I strongly urge others to stay away. The Issues: 1. Unreliable Product: - The chair's remote control became defective, rendering the entire chair unusable. This is unacceptable for a product marketed as a premium, dependable item meant for elderly individuals. 2. Horrible Customer Service: - Delayed Responses: Journey Health & Lifestyles customer service is nearly impossible to reach. You can leave multiple messages, and it takes an unreasonable amount of timesometimes weeksto get a response. - Rude Representatives: When I finally reached someone, the representatives were rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. - No Support for Parts: When a part is needed, such as a simple remote, customer service cannot expedite the process or even provide an estimated delivery time. This means the chair is out of commission for weeks, if not months. Still waiting!3. Broken Repair Process: - The company assigned my case to Guardian Furniture Repair, who subcontracted the job to another repair technician with no phone number for direct communication. - The repair technician did not have the necessary parts and informed me that I had to order the remote myself before they could even schedule a repair visit. **** Accountability: - The company makes no effort to resolve urgent issues or prioritize customers who rely on their products for medical and quality-of-life needs. The Result: My elderly father has been left without a functional chair for an extended period, causing him significant distress. A product that costs $2,599 and is marketed for seniors should not come with such poor service and unreliable support.

    We purchased 2 of their electric wheelchairs. We ordered a battery over 2 months ago and have yet to receive it. We were told it would be awhile but a wheelchair with no battery is no good. We believe this company is not taking care of their customers if they cannot provide the batteries that run their $1200+ chairs. We are forced to buy another chair made in the *** that provides batteries for their chairs. We did call this company twice and emailed and got little or no response. We were on hold for over 15 minutes and told to call back. Terrible service !!The battery cost over $500.00, one would think they are unconcerned about their business or they don't care about the people that need these chairs. Maybe both....

    The "perfect" recliner sleep chair that came to me was defective, and repeated calls (conversations with multiple agents) availed nothing but promises. I would not recommend the products of JOURNEY HEALTH AND LIFESTYLE under any circumstances. Their customer service is even worse.**** T

    Zero Stars! Customers beware! I ordered this ****** and was so excited to get it although it is more expensive than most. I had a failure of some washers and bearings that make the front wheels function. The company gladly sent me wheels and forks although I had to wait five months to get them. The problem here is that the washers and bearings are NOT included. The company, Journey, says they do not have any or will not provide any. The repair providers Journey offered stated that they can't get those parts either. Since my ****** failed within the warranty period, I asked to have it exchanged and was told no. Journeys solution is that I check with medical equipment dealers and bike shops in my area to see if I can find them. This company is basically praying on people who have disabilities and have purchased this specialized ****** from them. I read the warranty, I have the warranty, and Journey's refusal to replace the item is in violation of their agreement!

    zero stars Make sure you read the return policy before ordering. Ordered the Upbed for ailing parent on a Tuesday , had to cancel on that same Friday due to parent going on hospice. Called several times and told 7-10 days to receive return money of $4,677 minus a shipping fee of $299 because supposedly the bed left the warehouse. The $4,677 (which was deducted instantaneously from checking account). Still waiting for refund to bury my mother.Asked to speak to Manager told she was the supervisor and said this is how businesses work.

    Ordered Perfect Sleep Chair on May 16th WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR CHAIR I have made several phone calls to your customer service only to be told that there isnt anything that they could do for us I have been hung up on 5 times spoke to badly all I want is to receive the chair that I ordered for my 86 year old father if I havent heard anything from your company I am going to contact BBB and the Attorney General ***************************** (Daughter of *************************)

    There is no connection between what agents tell you and what actually happens. I ordered wheels for my ****** on April 20 and was immediately charged. 0I was told to expect delivery within a week or 10 days. Two weeks later, I was told they had been out of stock but would now be delivered within a week or 10 days. Two weeks later, I was told the warehouse had lost my order. Two weeks later I was told delivery was not possible because they did not have my ZIP Code. I had supplied my ZIP Code on every call. The agent said the mistake was made by a new agent in training. However, on the previous call, the agent told me she has been working for the company for 12 years. Finally after waiting nearly 2 months I called to cancel the order and request a refund. I was told I had not paid for the order. When I said I was looking at the payment on my charge account statement, she suddenly found the payment. I was told to expect the refund within a week or 10 days. I have not received the refund. I recommend that you do not order from this company.

    The seatbelt on my chair thats under warranty broke I called the company and they can not give or even sell replacement seatbelts for the chair I purchased: The Journey Air Elite (thats supposed to have every part under warranty) They tried to sell me a seatbelt for a different chair they make. I refused because I didnt want to pay out of pocket for what should be covered in a warranty for something that wasnt even made for the model of chair I purchased Hopefully I dont fall out of the chair.

    I ordered a wheel chair ramp almost 8 weeks ago. I have not received it. Phone calls produce nothing but excuses & run arounds. I have requested a refund to no avail. Im not sure why BBB doesnt immediately help to give the steps necessary to get a refund? At this point I would say Journey Health & Lifestyle is a false business. I also believe this company may have office in ********** or ********. ****** C
