    This platform is absolutely horrible and to have the ability to keep me from being employed until they verify me is corrupt bs.... I been a citizen of this nation my whole life like who r these people? They r fixing to have me message the entire World about their platform.

    There has been no response to support tickets, only AI bot replies, for two days on the website or via email. There isn't any automatic response to my reply email confirming receipt. ID.me deleted my public comment on ******** instead of reaching out to support.

    I am local *** firm owner and performing payroll and income tax on daily basis. my ID.ME account was suspended for no reason, I need it to perform my job to service my client with ******* and EFTPS. ID.ME has no contact number, it has been a week since I have submitted the email request, no response.Need this resolve asap.

    ID.me is a terrible security solution, extremely difficult to set up and the ONLY option provided by many government agencies (e.g., the ************************). How this company became the de facto security provider for the *************** is highly suspect. This is exactly the type of business the BBB was founded to protect consumers from. Please provide whatever influence you can to encourage the *************** to abandon use of ID.me.

    I am rejecting this response because: (1) it should NOT take 90+ minutes of runaround, hassle, unnecessary repetitive steps, and waiting on hold to essentially obtain little more than a username and password so that tax-paying citizens can access a public website operated by a government agency with no other option of doing so; (2) I shudder to think of the tax money spent on ID.me with no appreciable benefit to the citizen or to the government; and (3) the alleged response provided is boilerplate and disingenuously ignores the core complaint.

    Accordingly, I reiterate that ID.me is a substantially terrible online security option that provides no real value and only imposes massive inconvenience, ineffectiveness, and unwarranted cost--in other words, a parasitic company offering an ineffective security solution that no tax-paying citizen asked for or wanted, and which is actually jeopardizing participant security by maintaining a repository of highly sensitive personal information that is an easily identifiable target for malicious hackers and global cyberthreats. 

    Accordingly, based on these sincerely held opinions and personal conclusions, I am earnestly asking the BBB to recommend to consumers against using ID.me whenever an alternative is available, and to bring to bear any influence in political circles to end the government-funded waste in requiring sole and exclusive use of ID.me.

    I have an existing email account ************************ with ID.me that is no longer accessible. I still have the correct user name and password associated with this account, however it is impossible to receive an email for ***. None of the steps provided by the the chat bot are feasible because I cant login due to the **** I cant use any of the options for resolution provided. I have created a new ID.me account, however any time I try to verify my ID with ********************** it pulls up old info associated with this email account (you already have an account on file) and then re-routes me to the login with the old email (which I cant access). I was not given the option to merge accounts either.I have sent several emails through the chat option and cannot reach a PERSON for any customer service. I cannot login to receive additional support.I need to speak to a human being and get this issue resolved. It is unbelievable that a company with this much gatekeeping control has no customer service. Unacceptable.

    Id.me will not allow me into my account. I am in a rural area and need to file an unemployment claim but I am unable to do so through id.me! My phone number has changed and I am unable to authenticate my account. The Ai help center just sends me In circles! I have tried multiple times over a two week period always with the same concerning results! I will be contacting the governors office about this issue tomorrow! This is unacceptable, blocking people from receiving benefits that they have paid into for years!

    I have been reaching out to customer service to get my name updated. The chatbot keeps telling me to do something that the actual website does not allow me to do. This company provides no phone number or any way to contact an actual person. They are costing me money because I am not able to update my information. I have tried submitting everything they have requested and they keep denying me but with no way to rectify the situation. What an awful company

    Id.me..OMG. Virtually impossible to contact. No phone number and chats put you in line and then kick you out before they even respond. ID me is supposed to sync my ************* and my ******* accounts but when I try to use the federal account, it tells me my password is wrong even though the accounts are linked according to them. It works for the ****** page but not ***. Then I get a message that I cant sign in through social media which I dont even know what theyre talking about because Im not signing in through social media. This is ridiculous

    I have been trying to contact idme for over a month regarding my account which was suspended for reasons unknown to me, i tried to create a ticket with my compliant and a representative is yet to reach out to me, i need to regain access to my account so i can get my tax records and transcripts because i needed these documents to complete my application on the government website, the delays wont help i have tried everything but not working please idme reach out to me as soon as possible and have someone fix this before i got nuts . Thank you!
