4 starsThe verification process is not entirely clear. First, take a photo of your I.D. document (I used my Kansas Driver's License), front and back, so they are on your smartphone ready to upload to "ID.me" when prompted. And NEXT, it is not entirely clear that your face must be scanned using your phone's camera -- and that means giving "ID.me" permission to access your phone. Say yes to that. And before you begin the video face scan, you must not be outdoors because that is too much light for the scanning process. You must be indoors, but not in too dark of a room. Be sure you are inside a room with nice indirect light. That's when the scanning process finally successed. Other than feeling my way through this verification process to prove I am me, I will say that "ID.me" does have many instructions. So my advice to you is to read them carefully and make sure you do understand them when completing each step. It is a good system, once you know how to use it.ID.me, Inc.
