      I am the senior accountant for a company that owns and manages several apartment complexes. Back in 2018, we established contracts for telephone services at three of our properties with Access Point. Access Point was acquired by GTT Communications some years ago, so our billing switched to them. Over the last year (at a minimum) we have had billing and communication issues with GTT. The phone numbers they provide on their bills take you to 1) some *********************************** who doesn't even know who GTT is, and 2) a fax number that hangs up on you. Anytime you are finally able to reach a customer agent, they have major language barriers, and it is nearly impossible to know what they are saying.The contract we established back in 2018 for the particular property in question was for billing to be $237/month, but moving forward to now, they are trying to bill us $700+/month, with no legitimate explanations for their price increases. We reached out to them on or about 3/1/25 to cancel our account, and they will not close it, seeking for us to pay for services in March, April and May 2025. In our communication back and forth, they mentioned that there is a 30-day cancellation period. Operating in good faith, I paid for the March bill, although we had already switched to a new provider at that time. They still refuse to close the account saying we did not give them the account number when we cancelled it, but I have given and confirmed the account number in the correspondence I have had with them.They refuse to operate in good faith and will not reverse the April and May bills. In my last email with them, I listed out five points of discrepancy with their billing practices and what we did in good faith to cancel the account. They will not budge, and I am afraid they will try to send us to collections, as their latest response just repeats their same claims that I have disputed with them.

      I termination service with GTT at the end of my contract but GTT automatically renewed my contract for another year. I asked my account representative to change my account to month to month but it was never changed. I also told my account representative that I want to cancel my account at the end of the contract. Again nothing was done so the contract was automatically renewed for a year and they want me to pay $77,458.03.

      I am the office manager for *******************************, a medical office in Columbia, SC.. We lost phone and internet service on 3/27/2023. A service ticket was immediately opened by myself with GTT. After numerous phone calls to GTT and close to 100 emails back and forth, they have yet to provide a tech on site to resolve our issue. Our IT person has reached out to them multiple times after he determined that the issue is definitely a faulry piece of equipment which is the responsibility of GTT. They refuse to send someone out to repair or replace the equipment. They keep going round and round saying they are looking into the situation but won't provide an estimated time of repair or even say they are requesting someone to repair it. We are a medical office with thousands of patients who are unable to reach our office and their physicians. Our patients are our number one concern and we cannot care for them in an appropriate manner without having communication services restored. It has been ten days now without our patients being able to contact us.  This is a ridiculous amount of time for any consumer but especially for a medical office.

      We use GTT Fiber for Internet access which powers our operations. We have extreme packet loss which makes the Fiber line provided by GTT unstable and un-usable. We have provided multiple examples demonstrating extreme packet loss with comparisons to our backup line which is broadband and half the bandwidth. This issue has go on for 60 days with no resolution. We have asked a tech be dispatched to no avail. We simply are stuck with a bad Fiber connection and GTT refuses to fix, assist and or advise how our service can be restored.

      We have been a customer of GTT for many years and have always paid our bills on time. Over the last 5 years we have had many problems with our service and constantly called GTT but our service was never fixed. A few months ago we canceled our service with GTT and now they are claiming that we owe them $2976. We do not have any outstanding balance with them and we did cancel our service with them once our contract was over. We have just received a letter from a collection agency trying to get money from us for GTT communications.

      I have used GTT at my hotel for many years.In February we started asking if we can add another pots line and they told me they would have someone reach out. I kept following up and no one would reach out to me. I got fed up and I have asked their support to provide me my contract for months now through email. However they keep saying they have forwarded to their internal team and no one sends me it. I have been looking to switch companies and wanted to see if I had a current contract that locked me in or if there were any termination fees.
