I got a renewal for ******************* I sent a check (#*****) on 07/26/2023 with the renewal request in the amount of $55.95. I never received the magazine but check was cashed. I attemted to call *************) and could not reach anyone. I attempted several times and finally got ahold of someone in May of 2024. I was told at that time that the magazine was now digital. I explained that I do not have internet service and that was not documented on the renewal slip. They said that they will refund my money, I gave them the date, check number and amount. They said they will refund the money and it would take 8-10 weeks. I tried to call again on June 14, 2024, several times but no answer. To this day I have not received a refund.Initial Complaint

Have subscribed to American History magazine for over 30 years. Renewed last July for two years. Issues come four times per year. Have not received an issue since Summer 2023. Attempts to contact by phone were either not answered or not returned. Received an e-mail that I could access missed issues by website, which is inconvenient and would cost extra money. Mailed letter of complaint to Virginia offices several weeks ago, received no response. Have heard of similar complaints from other subscribers. Would like to make subscription whole, which seems impossible. No choice but to demand a refund.Initial Complaint

Delivery of magazine issues not fulfilled. My prepaid subscription ends in October 2025, but the last issue I received was December 2023. I would like the subscription extended to fulfill the undelivered magazines, or a monetary rebate for said magazines. The subscription is for American history magazine, my subscription number is **********, which they recognize when I have notified them of the problem. I have emailed and called their phone, with no results. The phone rings but hangs up without completing the call.Initial Complaint

Paid for two year renewal, $75.95, on my existing subscription to WILD ************** Check #**** submitted on 5 Oct 2023 and deposited on 19 Oct. 2023. To date, I have not received a new issue of the magazine. Last issue received was WINTER 23.I have attempted to phone the magazine multiple times using Subscription Information Phone #************ with no success; seems phone number is now out-of-service. I did e-mail for a full refund @ ********************************** twice, last time on *************************************************************** May 2024; "YOUR REQUEST HAS BEEN RECEIVED AND IS BEING REVIEWED BY OUR SUPPORT STAFF." As of today, no further response for HISTORYNET, no refund, nor a new issues...NOTHING. I fully suspect the company is out-of-business, thus the lack of response. I require a FULL REFUND from this company, even if they are still in business. No need dealing with a company with zero customer support!!!!Initial Complaint

I subscribed to HistoryNet.com's magazines, Aviation History, as well as Military History, back on July 31, 2023, for which I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A SINGLE ISSUE FOR EITHER MAGAZINE! I most recently contacted HistoryNet support on May 26, 2024, to inform the support staff of my issue, yet not only have they not responded to me via email or letter, I also have never received the back issues I am owed. Two individual magazines that HistoryNet did send me some months ago after I initially contacted them with my complaint are not the magazines for which I subscribed (Great American Explorers and Military Weapons and Hardware). HistoryNet.com never honored my subscription requirements, and therefore has cheated me out of the money I paid for the subscriptions. I am seeking complete financial reimbursement for my subscription.Initial Complaint

I've purchased a two year subscription to WWII magazine through the History Net. Haven't received the magazine since last year. Their 800 number just clicks off when you attempt to call it and they do not answer emails to queries. The last email, I asked either to get my magazines or a refunds. I have received no answer. It seems to me this is an interstate issue that the *** might be interested in as money is transferred in and out of the state where History net is located. Do you have an answer to this issue? It appears there are a lot of online complaints.Initial Complaint

I renewed my subscription, by check #****, to Aviation History August 7th, 2023. I had been receiving the magazine for 2 years prior. The checked was cashed by HistoryNet on August 31st, 2023. Since that time I have yet to receive the magazine. Numerous attempts by phone, email, letters have resulted in no contact with the company or its employees. My personal opinion is they don't want to talk with their customers. I seek a refund of my subscription cost.Initial Complaint

We believed we were ordering hard copies of Military History and Military History Quarterly, but received e-copies instead -- We paid $68.88 through our **** card, and have asked for a refund over the past several months -- we have not read or down loaded the magazines (one each) delivered to our email address -- we simply want our money back.Initial Complaint
