I came home from visiting family over the holidays and when I got home, I decided to park at the business next to my apartment (*****) to quickly go into my apartment to use the restroom and to then go inside and purchase some items from ***** that I was planning to get, after I leave my vehicle to go inside to my apartment for no more than three minutes, I come back to the sight of my car completely missing. Angrily, I walk inside to ***** and tell them what happened and they said "they get you that fast?" and and just gave me a number to call. I called the number which introduced themselves as "last call towing" (side note: this occurred at 5:30pm on a Sunday, well before the store closed) and they told me that I would have to pay at least $205 to get my car back no matter what, and that I would need to, within the next hour, go to a random address out of town to meet the driver. I take a rideshare ride over to the address, which is a dark and empty lot, and had to walk around in the dark to eventually find a bright tow truck with lights its lights on in a very sketchy area, and he rolled down the window and told me it would be $205, and me wanting to quickly get my car and go home before any more fees rack up, pull out my card, and he said it's cash only, and that I would have to cross the highway to get to an atm and come back if I wanted my car back. I walk over while checking my wallet to find I have just over $200, I walk back and ask the guy if he had change for a $10 and then he says he doesn't carry cash despite only willing to take cash, so I have to give them $210, receive no receipt and the guy asks for my keys, and disappears then comes back with my car, and standing there in the cold, I just wanted to get back in and go home and finally be able to relax like I intended to from the start, but now down $210 because I wanted to go inside and use the bathroom for three minutes before I shopped.
