BBB has received over 450 consumer complaints from across the US that allege customers have made purchases from www.sneakfoot.com, a website that advertises as an "independent reseller" of name brand products ranging from shoes, apparel and other miscellaneous items, but never received the products or a refund. BBB has received over 8,500 inquiries into this company since our file opened in June of 2020.
The company claims to be located in Glen Allen, Virginia and the address provided is a UPS store. The website claims the company is located in Northern Ireland, however, the registration for the State Corporation Commission does confirm the director lives in Glen Allen VA. Further research shows the website is registered out of Canada and was opened in February of 2020. The telephone number advertised for contact with the business, directs any communications to be sent via email to [email protected].
The company has now posted the following message on their website.
"URGENT Notice: We are currently in the process of refunding ALL outstanding orders with Sneak Foot. Processing times vary and may take up to 6 business days to process into your bank account on file.Should you not receive a refund, (which would be in a very rare case, such as an issue with your card changing or not being on file) we recommend contacting your bank and initiating a dispute / chargeback in order to recover the funds, but please wait 6-7 business days following the reply to this email.Following that process, we will not contest the dispute, unless truly the order has arrived and will only provide counter-evidence in that case. Thank you. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Sneak Foot ran into a major supply issue and is temporarily closing its doors until further notice as this matter is resolved. We will post updates on site, should any come, or on our social media. Additionally we are attempting to recover our Instagram page, which was compromised by hackers and subsequently deleted. Facebook / Instagram has been unfortunately, not very helpful in this matter but keeps annotating that it should be resolved within 3-6 weeks. Refunds are being manually issued, in order, per order. There are currently 743 orders we are addressing, and around 113 orders that may be lost in transit / returned but not recovered.We are happy to work with you, but ask for your patience, and any orders that are refunded fully, we may not respond further on. If you paid via PayPal, you can open a claim via the PayPal resolution center, and we will respond in a manner that grants you a refund.Otherwise, we appreciate your time and business and ask kindly to please leave a positive review when your order arrives. We are currently awaiting the arrival of 329 orders that were shipped towards the end of last week that were not impacted.If you are part of this, you will have a tracking number in your email and order screen. I tried to make a chargeback claim with my bank, but since it was past 30 days at the time, I couldn't get my money back. Its been a couple years and I am now finding out the owner of this scamming business went to jail, but I never received any refund back, so I need that taken care of.Company got back to me after a year and said they were gonna refund me the money and I never got anything back, and ***** is alot of money.Initial Complaint

On August 8, 2020, I ordered a pair of ************** Bloodline sneakers from Sneakfoot. Standard shipping was **** business days, which wasnt a problem, however, they didnt come within that time frame. The order was guaranteed to come, however, it never came. After about a month(9/17/20), I shot them an email about this, and they never responded. A week later(9/24/20), I shot them another email, and they didnt respond. This is when I realized I mightve gotten scammed and I may not be ever getting the shoes. 7 months later, on 4/19/21, I got sent an email saying that they are issuing partial refunds or extends for orders. Then 2 months later(6/21/21), I received another email saying a refund would be issued, none of this ever happened. I recently looked them up, and saw that they finally got tried and prosecuted last week, however, I am still at a lost for the money that I spent. I have no product, no money, and i have waited long enough.Customer response

I ordered these sneakers January 11, 2021. They mentioned that due to Covid they would take a while. I waited a month. They never came. I emailed them at [email protected] a little over a month. I contacted them in February 2021 for a full refund because I never got the shoes but no response. I tried again with a follow up email in March 2021, no response, and again in April 2022 for the third time, and someone named David said that he took a look into it and said that the determined dispatch date would be later in that current week, said that they had been experiencing “logistical delays” with their suppliers but the sneakers never came. In June 2022, I got an email from them saying my package was on the way, but it was from a fake site that gave me a fake tracking number. I even direct messages them on Instagram regarding my order, commented under their posts, they would delete any negative comments or comments about people not receiving their sneakers. Eventually their Instagram page was taken down. There was nothing I can do. At that point it was over 6 months since I made the purchase. It’s 2022 still no refund, I lost out $*** for shoes I never got, I still would like to be refunded the money I spent. Someone suggested I reach out to the BBB and to my surprise I wasn’t the only person scammed by Sneak Foot. I hope that the resolution to this will be a full refund.Initial Complaint

I ordered, stupidly, three pairs of shoes from sneak foot co on November 27, 2020. I waited a couple months and then I contacted them to see what was happening and I never heard anything back. I don’t know why I didn’t file a complaint sooner I just assumed the best I guess but still, here we are in 2022 and I haven’t received anything about the shoes. I ordered shoes from this fraud on December 27, 2020. I’ve waited YEARS to see if they would ever ship them. But no, I never received them. I sent countless emails with just one reply. So disappointing. I paid $*** and NEVER got a refund for order #****. Hopefully they do something right and have this refunded back to me. On January 27, 2021, I ordered a pair of UNC Fearless ****** 1 Retros in size 6.5 from Sneak Foot LTD for $***. On the same day that the order went through, I emailed Sneak Foot and requested to cancel the order (Order #*****). I didn't receive a response. Over the course of about the next 2 weeks, I sent about 5 follow up emails in an attempt to cancel my order. I still received no response from the company. At this point, I decided to wait for the sneakers to come in the mail. However, 3 months passed and I had not received the sneakers. I sent another email asking about what happened. Again, there was no response. Today is November 23, 2021 and I still have not received the ****** 1s or an email from the company about my issue. I would like to receive a refund of $*** or reach some kind of favorable conclusion for the order that I not only tried to cancel, but also never even came after 10 months.
