    First treatment went well..2nd literally nothing but a few outside cobwebs swept away..employee didnt communicate ANYTHING ans was gone in less than 5 min..had 2 mice in house after 3 months..and NOW worst is i was told i could cancel ANYTIME "all they ask is for me to pay the following months service..now im being informed of an extra ****** cancellation fee..dont be tricked by the ******

    It is unfortunate that sales people from EcoShield Pest Solutions have to deceive and misrepresent the facts in order to make a sale, but that is what happened to me. ***** solicited in my neighborhood which is posted No Soliciting. He misrepresented elements in the contract he had me initial on Thursday, May 23, 2024 and failed to provide a copy of what I had signed for 2 days, leaving me only 1 more day to cancel the contract. The company is closed Saturdays and Sundays, so I was unable to contact customer service for help. I just kept getting useless text messages from the company saying they would review my message shortly and text me a resolution as soon as possible. That never happened. ***** made promises that the contract did not contain. He also stated I had 3 days from the service date to cancel, which is incorrect. The contract states 3 days from the date of signature. He further misrepresented that he would be doing the work. Two other men came Friday, May 24, but did not do all the work as written in the contract, which I did not have at the time of service to verify. That is unacceptable.The plan I chose had 6 services a year. The contract charged me for 7. ***** told me if I cancelled within the year, I would have to repay $150 in discounts. The contract states I'd have to repay $300. Quite a difference.***** also failed to tell me I could have refused automatic billing, which I did not want. I had to send another email and letter to the company to revoke automatic billing.Since I never received the contract in a timely manner and there were so many inconsistencies, I canceled the contract Saturday, May 25 by both email and by letter to Arizona. I will not do business with any company that does not get it right the first time. I also don't like being lied to in order to get me to sign a contract. That is bad business.

    Eco Shield's main customer service uses agents overseas to field phone calls. They will tell you whatever they can to get you off the phone without canceling. They have shown up at my home to treat the yard multiple times after being specifically told not to come on those days. In February they came against my orders and sprayed the yard in a rainstorm. I called customer service to tell them I wasn't paying for the service and was told they would come back out to do it again and also would give me a $20 credit for the inconvenience. They never called to schedule the visit and tried to come on another day I was out of town. I called to reschedule and then they never showed up on the follow up. A month later I received a notice saying they were going to turn me over to a collection agency (for $149!). I called again to express my anger only to be told they would send someone out today for free. I was assured by two different people that there would be no additional charge for this visit. The agent came out and was friendly. After the visit I received an email saying I was being charged another $169 for the visit (now up to $318 due). I again called customer service, in the *********** and was hung up on. I called again and got escalated to a "manager", who tried to explain what the charges were rather than solve the issue. Now 40 minutes later I am being transferred to someone in the ** to see if they can help. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR SERVICE UNLESS YOU WANT HEADACHES AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR 24 MONTHS.

    Eco shield salesman was in my neighborhood and offered a one-time offer to treat my house at a discount since they were treating houses near mine. I agreed to $99 one-time treatment. However, my credit card was charged $119 and I notified them and did not get a response. A few weeks later I received a text that my monthly treatment was scheduled for the next day. I called to notify them I did not sign up for monthly treatments. After many, many sales pitches that I refused, I was told I had to pay a cancellation fee. I disputed that and said I simply would not pay for something I didnt agree to. After more offers of discounts and threats of a large cancellation fee I hung up! Terrible, not trustworthy, not a fair and decent company! And still no return of my over charge from my initial payment!

    I would like to re-iterate previous review comments in recommending to never sign up for services with Ecoshield - they are a scam and have predatory selling and collection practices. We too, like most other reviewers, were talked into what seemed like a great deal with "no strings attached" and "cancel any time", "no fee contract" by a salesman walking our neighborhood. He referenced other neighbors, by name, who were using the service and reassured us we could cancel with no penalty at any time. After getting the home bug service three times, we elected to cancel due to cost, delays in the technician, lack of efficacy (still had bugs in the ************** webs on the exterior). I called Ecoshield and experienced their aggressive selling and threatening practices for collections for a $150 contract breaking fee that I wasn't aware I had signed. I've been emailing with no response (three times) and two, 20 minute phone calls in which I was told I continued to owe $150 contract cancellation fee. I refused to pay, removed my credit card from my online account and was promptly sent to a collections agency. This is now 6+ months in the making and I'm going to simply breakdown and pay the $150 - good riddance Ecoshield! Taking another reviewers comments again ......run, run, run from Ecoshield! Hopefully we can save the next consumer from these types of scams, fees and poor customer service.

    We received the first treatment from Ecoshield on 6/7/2023 and the 2nd on 7/12/2023 (egg cycle). Despite two applications, we still experienced bug bites to our lower bodies from the grass, more severely than previous years. I made several calls to their customer service line hoping to get in touch with their Richmond, ******** office about the problem. In each time the call was answered by some foreign operator with strong accents. But I could never talk to someone locally. They finally dispatched a woman today 8/16/2023 in response to my complaint. I explained the problem to her. She said she will put down some 'green' in the grass. I just leave her do her magic. But in about two minutes, she just drove away. Very puzzled, I called their customer service line about this episode. Again, a foreign accent answered the call. She said she would contact their local office and put me on hold. In less than two minutes, the line was disconnected. I regret having signed a one year contract with them.

    The service itself was fine however, the service men were a little unfriendly. The worst part is their customer service. I had a loss in our family and called to cancel our bimonthly service. You have to go through a call center and I was berated with coupons instead of cancellation. I asked nicely to just please cancel my service 5 times and the answer was consistently I understand but would you be interested in coupons. On top of that I had to continue calling because they wouldnt put the cancellation through like they said they would and ended up spending a good chunk of my day on the phone with them. At one point I was even asked what is your problem? It was exhausting to say the very least.Worst customer service Ive ever had. This company is a scam and I would never recommend them to anyone. Go with literally anyone else.

    They were very friendly and professional; even scheduled an appointment for the next day! The technician explained the treatment plan to me. He inspected the entire house, inside and out.I was very impressed by the quality of service and the results. The technician also gave me some tips on how to prevent future problems. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs reoccurring services. They are reliable, affordable, and knowledgeable.

    For the love of God, do yourself a favor and avoid ever signing a contract with this company. We were talked into what seemed like a great deal with no strings attached by a sales guy and were reassured by our guaranteed legal right to cancel with no penalty within 3 days. After getting service the next day from two guys who didn't really know what they were doing, we cancelled...and for the next three months proceeded to get hounded by EcoShield about an outstanding charge because they insisted they never received our cancellation email. I sent them proof of the email (as requested) three separate times, was told it would be reviewed, and then it'd be crickets until the billing department called me again. They finally "waived" the charge because I asked for a way to actually follow up on the proof I was sending and they couldn't do that.Thank goodness we cancelled the card we had on file because they would have automatically charged us, and I can't imagine what a refund process would look like.You will never speak with the nice sales person again after signing the contract and the customer support and billing teams are clearly disconnected and NOT local to Richmond. But each of them WILL pressure you to post a 5 star review, hence their good ****** rating.Even if you do everything right in regards to your contract, you'll have a terrible time. Run, run, run from EcoShield.

    The door-to-door salesmen for Ecoshield are very shady. When I requested a business card he refused. They will not take NO for an answer and want you to continue explaining why you don't want their services. This has happened twice.
