Begining December 2024 I purchased a vehicle. It was advertised as a great buy before going to auction. It was highlighted on a 360 degree rotating view on the front page of website as great SUV. I was told only that it needed headlight. I was told it runs good.
Upon delivery it had to be jump started by the semi driver delivering vehicle to get to my house. Once delivered, I see cracked windshield as well.
I took it to two mechanics to repair found out
    Needs new windshield
    Repair electrical
    New headlight unit is needed
    Transition slipping
Engine code now for thermostat is needed. All totaling who knows how much.
I have called and did not get a return call. The salesman flat out lied and misrepresented the vehicle. I am a retired senior veteran on social security. I cannot afford this and the frustration and anger I hold inside is immeasurable.

In mid Oct I bought a nice new truck from Murdock Chevy. Two days later it started making loud noise from left front wheel. The whole front axel has to be replaced. I was told it has been looked over but really doubt it since it has also developed an oil leak and a radiator leak. The oil leak is engine gasket seal. How could this truck been looked over and these issues not seen. You want me to pay for the radiator NO. You didn’t do your job and you want me to pay for it

My husband and I live in California and Idaho. We found a truck we wanted to buy at Murdock in Woods Cross, UT. The advertised mileage on the truck was (rounded) 18,000. We went ahead and purchased this truck, sight unseen. Paperwork was handled digitally. My husband drove to Utah to pick up the truck, to find that the truck's actual mileage was 20,000 (rounded), which is 2 thousand miles more than was advertised on their website and in speaking with Murdock to make the purchase. We still would have bought the truck at 20,000 miles, but I know that the price of the truck we paid for and warranties was calculated at 18,000 miles. I feel that this was done on purpose since we bought the truck sight unseen. It speaks of false advertisement and malicious business practices in favor of Murdock. We otherwise like the truck and are happy with it, but I want Murdock to explain why they advertised the truck at 18,000 and not 20,000, and I want to know the purchasing price difference it would have made had we bought the truck at the 20,000 mileage instead. We are seeking a refund for the price difference between the 18,000 miles and 20,000 miles, or a free extended warranty. My husband and I are reasonable. A couple extra HUNDRED miles on the truck makes sense, but 2 THOUSAND extra? That's the equivalent of driving to Texas and back plus more.

In October 2023, I purchased a 2022 Cadillac Escalade from Murdock GMC for nearly $95,000, close to the high Blue Book value. The car was presented as being in excellent condition, with full factory warranty. However, after buying the vehicle, it took nearly three months to receive the title, raising concerns.

Shortly after, a check engine light appeared, and Jerry S***** GMC informed me that the car had undergone numerous warranty repairs, including two complete engine rebuilds within its first year. Murdock GMC claimed they were not legally required to disclose these repairs since they were under warranty. However, when asked directly, the sales representative assured me there was nothing material to disclose about the car’s history.

In July 2024, a loud clinking sound emerged from the front passenger side, and the check engine light returned. Despite driving the car less than 5,000 miles since purchase, it continues to experience issues. The General Manager initially promised to "make it right," but has since left the company, and I have been unable to get anyone at Murdock to address the situation.

I believe Murdock GMC's sales team was deceptive in their handling of this sale. They knowingly withheld significant issues about the vehicle, feeling "protected" by the fact that the repairs were under warranty. This omission is a violation of the duty of disclosure, particularly when it materially affects the car’s value and reliability.

Had I known about the repeated engine rebuilds, I would never have purchased the car. This deception has left me with a vehicle that I cannot trust, impacting both its resale value and my peace of mind. I am requesting that Murdock GMC buy back the vehicle for the full amount I paid.

Took Suburban in to diagnose an issue with engine overheating. It is within the 100,000 mile warranty period.

They said the only thing they can do is perform a coolant flush at my expense. They said if it failed to fix the issue they would not refund.

They said the reason they were charging was because the servicewas “preventive maintenance”. But they the proceeded to say it was a “necessary diagnostic step”. How could it be both?

Because they didn’t have a viable solution I wanted to get the vehicle back, but they held it hostage for a $200 “diagnostic fee”.

    I want the $200 refunded.
