    I reached out because I needed a 20' storage container to store hay. I was asked what condition and Jade noted for an excellent used container, including shipping, it would be $4500.80. You can see the shock of what I received in the attached pdf with images. They want to refund only $750 even though I did not D&A the item. This was a bait and switch.

    Upon reviewing the circumstances, it appears there may have been a misunderstanding related to the delivery and acceptance of the container. According to our Terms & Conditions, which were agreed upon during the purchase process, any discrepancies regarding the condition or delivery of items must be addressed upon receipt. Since the item was not D&A (Delivered & Accepted), this could constitute a failed delivery under our policy.

    “USED” Containers will have varying levels of visible surface rust, dings, patches and dents. We recommend to pressure wash and paint your container to extend its life."

    I am rejecting this response because:   the container arrived and did not meet my approval so, like other businesses, I declined to accept.   This container was not of the excellent, used condition quoted by you Salesperson Jade G*******   In addition, the fact the delivery driver was trying to have me purchase one from one of his friends along with Jonathon now claiming they could get another, this was a bait and switch.   I have had multiple, used containers in the past which were excellent with some amounts of rust.   Fortunately, I was able to find a reputable company who quoted me for an excellent used container and delivered as promised....for less money than you charged.   I am a previous business owner and know I can decline shipment of something that cannot be accepted due to quality.   At the national company I work for, if a product arrives that does not meet standard, we graciously either refund or ship an acceptable product within one day.   Your company hides behind your "language" rather than doing what is right, based on the communication I had with your salesperson.  Why else wouldn't I sign your contract if she hadn't noted it would be anything but excellent condition (with a small amount of rust).   The images clearly show water was getting into the container.   This is a you issue, not a me issue.   Poor business standards and response.   The customer is not a priority and I am happy to share this with anyone who askes and will continue to do so.

    I ordered a 40 Foot HC Wind and water tight from this company. From the start the service was poor and their selected Vendor had a lot of excused regarding delivery. Once delivered the driver dropped it got the doors open and got out of there. The doors do not open and close without being forced and this container is unusable in the poor condition it is in. This has been a disaster of a transaction I need to be able to open the doors and close them and lock them without need three people to get this done. I don't think they could have deliver a worse container if they tried. The driver needed help to just back up his truck to what is a ease drop off location. I want this container fixed so I can use it.

    I called the company and paid for a container on April 1 2024. I immediately had issues with delivery. Promising day after day then one excuse after another. I mainly talked to **** and she on recording promising me a green container. First one they brought to me was blue next was orange. I continued to wait for the right GREEN container. Which was again promised to me. After numerous attempts to resolve the issue they told me they were canceling my order and not giving me a refund. I have talked to several people in the company and still no positive resolution. Id like the ********************** that I ordered.

    I ordered a shipping container. during delivery the driver hit my house and messed up the gutter. No big deal accidents happen. The driver, and company are refusing to provide replacement gutter, or insurance information. I made A lot of calls, and text requesting resolution.

    Upon investigating the incident, it appears that the delivery took place in a challenging location, and we appreciate your understanding of the difficulties associated with extremely tight spaces.

    I would like to draw your attention to a section in our Terms and Conditions that outlines our policy regarding damages to customer property caused by the delivery driver. The relevant clause states:
    "USA Containers is not responsible for any damages of the Customer’s property done by the delivery driver (e.g., ground, lawn, fences, mailboxes, wires, pipes, etc)."

    Furthermore, our T&C specifies that the buyer is responsible for preparing the delivery site, ensuring there are no obstacles, mud, holes, or power cables in the way, and providing a clear area of at least 120 feet for unloading.

    However, we understand the importance of finding an amicable resolution, and we are committed to addressing your concerns.     I am rejecting this response because:

    Over 150' of pretty much straight back. The driver should have cancelled the delivery if he didn't have the ability. Site prep was done. It went on a concrete and gravel pad. 

    The driver already lied to you guys once about the lock then vandalized my container to make up for it.

    Would you like to see the screenshots of me asking multiple times for delivery drivers company/insurance? Or even a manager.

    Your terms and services cover you on fences and such. But he hit my house. Ripped the gutter. As a person operating a vehicle you are 100 percent liable for hitting an unmovable object such as a house. 

     The damage is probably about $800. For a new gutter. I offered to get quotes from licensed and insured companies.

    Your team has been absolutely no help with any information. Working with your company I got a patched together container, and purposely vandalized locking satchel, and  damaged to my house.

    I purchased a sea container from them and when it was dropped Off it was told to me that it had been refurbished and I was shown on the inside where they had made leak repairs with caulk and what looks like “flex seal “ rubber spray paint. Also the main door has torn and missing weatherstripping and again this was “repaired” with some kind of grey goop and what looks like caulk. The bottom of the container where the main door closes has been hit by something and has some bent metal damage which makes closing and sealing the door very, very difficult, which is probably why the door seal was caulked and gooped to prevent moisture penetration. In the one reponse we received we were told that we would receive “a cool patch kit and $150 credit “ or we could switch containers if we agree to pay DOUBLE shipping fees. when we responded that that was unacceptable all communication from USA Containers has ceased.

    2) the door frame is bent and opening and closing the door is very difficult 

    3) if I purchased an “air and water tight “ container “10 year warranty “ why am I responsible to repair a damaged area?

    The Leaks Warranty offers coverage for any leaks/holes with industry approved patches free of charge, the patch and delivery of it to you, everything covered by the leaks warranty. As you might have already read in our T&C agreement, doors, seals, gaskets are not covered by the Warranty and should be thoroughly inspected at delivery time, before driver leaves. Even if these are not covered by the Warranty we have tried our best and offered some compensation back as well as other options in order to try and help over our leaks emails.

    On a different note, we do appreciate your business and we're still willing to try and work this out with you and hopefully make you happy. We'd like to present you a new option, as long as you're willing to wait for us to have an order close by as delivery costs would be expensive, we're willing to swap your unit for a different one, but please understand these are Used units, not new units so signs of usage like dents, scratches, rust are expected after they've been used for so many years in oversea shipping. If this would work for you, please let us know and let's communicate further afterwards over our leaks emails in order to facilitate the swap with our colleagues in Logistics.

    The container was delivered with bent bushings and it is difficult to open/close the doors to the container. we did inspect the container on delivery but did not realize the doors were difficult to close until after the driver left.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and am  responding by attaching a copy of the invoice. The invoice clearly states "LIFETIME SUPPORT". However, when I call them and explained the doors are very difficult to open and close because the bearing brackets are bent, I was told it was my fault for accepting the container in the condition it was delivered in and not noting the problem upon delivery. The problem was not discovered until after the driver left. All I am asking for is a replacement of two of the short bearing brackets with bushings. Sending the replacement part would support their "LIFETIME WARRANTY" clause.

    We purchased six 20' standard used containers on October 14, 2022 for a total of $17,248.26 that was charged to our **************** on October 16, 2022. On November 8, 2022, two of the six containers were delivered after hours in the dark. Upon visual inspection during daylight hours on November 9, 2022, one of the containers has severe roof damage. Photos were taken and emailed to USA Containers to request a replacement be delivered with our upcoming November 11th delivery of the remaining 4 used containers. They offered a discounted price for the damaged container. We explained that we would like a replacement since the caved in roof would make it difficult to utilize the full container as we intended to. Per USA Containers website they do sell more damaged containers called "Ugly Ducklings". On November 10, 2022, we were notified that a replacement container could not be delivered with our already scheduled delivery and that they were working on a replacement and would be in touch. On November 11, 2022, at 8:13 AM, we were notified via email that they were cancelling the order and not delivering the remaining 4 containers that were to be delivered that day and would be picking up the two. And would refund the **** once they have been picked up. They referenced their USED clause which we disputed with them. We have disputed the charge with ****************. They notified us yesterday that the soonest they can pick up the containers is December 6, 2022. I have gotten several quotes from different LTL brokers who state there are plenty of drivers available. I have tried calling to speak with a supervisor or manager and can not get anyone to answer their 800 number.
