On 11-07-2023 we went to Hearing center for a hearing test and was told that we ( My Wife and I ) need hearing aids . We did accept that fact and proceeded to get them at a Cost of 7400.00 for each of us . Since then we have been back several times and they still are not to our satisfaction, tinney and just not clear, BUT the big problem is the cost. I have recently found out that I can go even on line and buy the IDENTICAL HEARING AIDS for $2999.00 per pair and they charged us $7400.00 for each of us and I could have gone to Kaiser and got them for MUCH LESS BUT they did not give us the option. I might be $%^&*( but one does not know until they try. Thank You ****** *******

This company is a provider within my insurance network, yet they refuse to correctly file the insurance claim so my insurance covers part of the cost. I have conferenced with my insurance provider and My Hearing Center personnel and still no resolution.

I went to my hearing center got my hearing checked hearing test at he recommended hearing aids. I got the hearing aid I was on power level three and need to try molds. The molds were made wrong and are kept arguing. Everything was too loud and too sharp errors hurting my ears. This went on for almost 8 months. I went to another provider got a hearing test, the test she gave me at my hearing center was wrong. The one from the year before and the year after my hearing center are the same but my one from the hearing center is wrong now they’re giving me the runaround come every four weeks try to correct the problem , I just don’t know what to do. They just took my money and try and show me on now.

My Father in Law is 90 years old and lives in an assistant living facility. When his hearing aids were not working I mailed them to the hearing facility he received them from, he no longer lives in the town where he bought them nor does the hearing center exist in that town any longer. Since the problem was the hearing aids were not keeping a charge I also sent in the charging station. The hearing center had to send them out to be repaired and told us they would be back within the week. 3 weeks later they still were not returned. We called the hearing center and they said we just sent them out. When we received the package the charging station was not in it just the hearing aids.. We called the hearing center and they told us 2 people saw the charging station go into the package. when the package was receive there were more than 2 people that looked in the package and did not see the charging station. The hearing centers only solution was to sell him a charging station, they had a used they could sell for $50 or we could go and buy a new one, a new one is around $300 and they were not taking any responsibility for it not being returned. I am not even sure he received the right hearing aids back due to they looked different. I suggested that since the address on my father in laws box was not even correct that maybe some boxes got mixed up at the hearing center. They informed that did not happen. I do not feel he should have to buy a charging station for the one that was lost at the hearing center.

I purchased hearing aids from My Hearing Centers in Klamath Falls, OR about 4 years ago. At first their service was good but over time became increasingly worse. This past May my hearing aids became very noisy and they were unable to correct the problem locally. They were sent off for service but when they were returned they had a bigger problem. They now have a very loud screeching noise that can be reduced by adjusting the volume down but the problem remains. I can't put my hand near my ears, wear a hat, wear glasses or get my phone near the aids. At first I was told they could not be fixed but would likely have to be replaced. I was told they were not trying to sell me new hearing devices but it sure seemed that that in fact what they were doing. I was given loaners while they supposedly tried to fix them. I picked them up yesterday but they are the same. I need the hearing aids but do not know where to go from here.

On several occasions I have sent correspondence to My Hearing Centers requesting them to cease and desist from sending unsolicited mail to my home address. This company did reply to say they would stop, but it has not been compliant despite their reply.

I'm sorry that ****************** continues to get mail from us, despite his request for it to stop.  Sometimes it takes a few weeks to months for names to be fully removed from our system because advertising is planned and set for delivery well in advance.  I will personally talk to our marketing team to ensure his name is removed (if it hasn't already been).

I have contacted this office as well as their corporate office via many, many phone calls...numerous emails and finally, **** mail, first class. They will not take me off their mailing list no matter what I ask or what I do! It has become an every other week nuisance and invasion of privacy.

Were sorry that ************** did not find our mailers useful.  We understand that they are not relevant to everyone and try to be very diligent in removing names from our mailing list quickly when we receive a request.  Sometimes it takes a while for the names to clear the system, even after a request has been received.  We have confirmed that ************** name has been removed.

Told me I would be receiving a interest free loan for hearing aids at 100 dollars a month, the loan is 12% interest and over 200 dollars a month, they handled all of the loan paperwork and never informed me that the loan was changed, I've been treated terribly by this business and feel that they are baiting and switching on me.

This is a paitient from our Reno location.  Bonnie G****** is the provider there.  Here is her response.

The patient in question, visited my office this morning. He purchased hearing aids in November 2, 2020.We saw him twice during his 30 day Trial period. The patient seemed to be doing well with his hearing aids and we put him on a quarterly schedule for follow up.He came in again in February of 2021 and stated he was doing well and had no complaints.
On May 7, 2021 he came in and stated “these are not working for me, they never stay in and I can’t wear them” and wanted to return them.I was out of the office (he saw our Patient Care Coordinator) and he was scheduled to speak with me today, May 17, 2021.
The patient came in and stated that the aids “are not working for me”.I asked him about the fit, (staying in etc.) and explained that if this is the issue then there are several things we can do to fix the issue.I asked him what specifically the issue is so we can resolve it. I did inquire why he never mentioned this, as he had a 30 day trial period to ensure everything was working for him, and that he had even said he was happy with them 3 months later. He would not say what the “issue” was.
He then stated that I “lied to him” about the financing he received.Said he was offered 0% financing but that he was, in fact, being charged 12.99%.I pulled his paperwork and showed him that he was offered a 0% promotion and that he had 2 yrs to complete the payments without interest.  After 2 yrs he would pay 12.99 interest. The document had his signature on it and is less than 1 full page.He then stated that he had documents proving that he was being charged interest.I explained if this is the case then we will immediately contact the finance company and resolve any discrepancies.I just needed him to bring me the documents so I can contact them.
The patient then stated “then we will handle this a different way”.I asked him what this means and he simply said “lawsuit” and stormed out the door.
We tried during this visit, several times, to address any issues the patient had.He was simply not interested. Perhaps he was too upset?

We are happy to help resolve his issue.  If it is truly just financial we can discuss a program to lower his payments.  If he is truly not being offered the zero percent program we can resolve that as well.  We just need the documentation.
