    Subject: Complaint Against Loyal Moving Company
    Dear BBB,
    I am filing this complaint against Loyal Moving Company and WeHaul Moving Company regarding deceptive and predatory practices that have caused me financial and emotional harm.
    On July, 17, 2025, I paid a deposit to Loyal Moving Company through ****** ********** Cash App to secure moving services. After payment, they failed to provide the agreed-upon services. Instead, they claimed they did not know where my belongings were, and that another company, We Haul, had taken possession of them. I never contracted with We Haul.
    Loyal and/or We Haul are now threatening to auction my belongings unless I pay an additional $7,000. This is unacceptable and feels like extortion.
    What makes this worse is that I disclosed to Loyal that I am on disability, with cognitive and memory issues, and needed my husband to participate in the decision-making process. Despite this, they pressured me into paying and misled us about the services.
    Summary of Issues:
    Deceptive misrepresentation of services.


    Transfer of belongings to a company I did not hire.


    Threat of auction unless $7,000 ransom is paid.


    Exploitation of my disability and cognitive challenges.


    I am requesting that the BBB document this complaint, investigate Loyal Moving Company’s practices, and alert other consumers to these harmful actions.
    This experience has been extremely distressing, and I want to prevent others from falling victim to similar misconduct.
