When I went to school with this business I had given them my ********************** email address to where they can email me if need be, well about a month ago they some how got my personal email address, I did not give it to them, nor did anyone I know give it to them, I feel they have violated my privacy and some how hacked my yahoo account to get my personal email address and they have been sending me emails once to twice a week harassing me to pay them, n I am broke can't even afford food for myself let alone pay money to a business who screwed me out of my degree cause I had to have emergency surgery at the time and was out for a week and they refused to let me make up any of my classes and would have to pay more to start those classes from the beginning, so I'm not paying them n I can't cause I have no money n no assets n can't even pay for food for myself . It's not ok for them to hack my accounts and it's not ok for them to violate my privacyInitial Complaint

I have never missed a payment. Apparently when my credit card expired in 2022 i was not notified they needed a new card, once i realized they didn’t charge me i updated it & was right back on track with payments. Center for Excellence reported to Exifax on my credit report that i missed January & February of 2022, This is false & i have documents proving it. I called Center for excellence they said they would fix it. It has been 6 months with no fix. Now my credit report shows i missed April, May & June. Again, This is false & i have receipt of payment. This is ruining my credit. Total paid in next question box is the total i have paid without any late or missing payments Starting from December 2022 to December 2023. My husband & i are trying to buy a home. This is so very wrong; Who is going to hold them accountable?Initial Complaint

This Buisness continues to hit my credit for a student Loan that has already been paid and have been received by Nelnet and the Student Gov that this Buisness Had first put out there when on was a student back in 2018 and was fully paid back in July of 2023, I know this Business is Closed and the College America i enrolled in back in 2018 is now Closed because of the Criminal Action of this Buisness and i would like a means to remove this Buisness from my credit or help doing so if possibleInitial Complaint

I just spoke with one of their "representatives" and was informed that even though a week prior when I had set up a payment plan and requested a statement they are no longer servicing my loan? I did not receive any notice of this. When I requested to know who was servicing my loan I was given the run around. I'm very worried that I'm some how being scammed and if it wasn't for the amount showing up on my Equifax I wouldn't even know that the debt existed. Some one needs to investigate this company as this seems very questionable.Initial Complaint

Independence University continues to harass me for a debt on a loan that I have never taken out. This school closed due to financial issues and is currently still harassing me for payment on a loan, in which I never even received an education from. I’m not sure why I would pay for classes/degree that I never received. Had a hard hit on my credit saying I owe them money. When the college closed randomly about 2 years ago in 2021. I think it’s wrong for them to hit my credit when the college itself couldn’t get me to my goals. This whole thing should be null and void ??
