On 8/31: I purchased airline tickets over the phone with a JetBlue agent. As per “recorded” conversation I was told that my was total: $1,376.40 ($1,028.00 tickets + $90.00 seats + $258.40 taxes/fees). I stayed on the phone w the agent until I received the confirmation email n also checked the statement from JetBlue website. While waitin for the email, I went over the statement. I pointed out that 2 seats were mark free n the agent confirmed that it was fine. I repeated my concern bc I didn’t want future problems n the agent again confirmed it was fine n my sets are all set. I received the email. Before disconnectin, I checked/reviewed the selected seats, the days/times/airports n the total due. Once confirmed, I disconnected. On 9/1, I checked my cc n saw a charge of an additional $74. Changin my total to $1450.40. I called JetBlue, n was told “on their end” that’s the total. I explained that the total on their end doesn’t match my receipt and/or conversation w agent. I was advised to emailed JetBlue. Since 9/1, I’ve emailed JetBlue at least 6 times w 3 emails showin an attachment of my receipt n each time requesting to review the recorded call. I have received maybe three responses but all asking for an attachment to explain my concern. I have also called over 6 times bc my emails don’t seem to get to JetBlue. Each agent repeats, “on their end” n pushes me off to email. I try to explain that I’ve been trying email, but I never get help bc it’s w different ppl everytime n there is no direct email. I also tried the chat line n was told they cldnt take attachments. Also, when lookin at my cc, JetBlue changed the way the charges when thru a couple times. At first, it just showed $74 added, n than it changed to 8 separate charges that totaled 1450.40. I called my cc n they also confirmed that is unusual activity. Lastly, I was told by a JetBlue agent that I received my confirmation email at 1245pm n the charge for $74 was made 10mins after adding 2 seats after the call
