    This page explains that everything that they do is AI or deceptive profiles. I wasn’t exposed to this info for several days. The girls say they want to meet for lunch or coffee and then don’t show. when they don’t show show they say they want to keep flirting and talking. It’s $30 for a month which I never agreed to because they said it’s free. Since these type of sites want your credentials as any trial for almost any product requires now they get it then just start charging you. I called their site. The site says it’s located in Provo, Utah. And their profiles show mileage from where the girls live. It’s called top locals so I live close to Provo and they give a good impression that they can meet in SLC. Say they will and than blow you off. I called their site company. They sound like they are located well outside this state. The gentleman said I couldn’t talk with anger and threatened me with some kind of consequence. He told me the big lie. He said these girls are real they pay just like you do. When their legal documents say something different. So now this employee is gaslighting me. I asked to talk to a supervisor. He said that will never happen.

    The website's T&C and a disclaimer on the index page clearly shows that the site is only for entertainment purposes and that no physical meetings can take place. Based on the user's feedback that was clearly ignored or no attention was paid to until this point, which unfortunately leads to this unpleasant situation. We have provided the user with the refund for the unused credits, but we can't refund the payments made for the services that had already been used. The user's account has already been suspended as well.

    Toplocalsingles.com. Was in my FB feed. Went to the sight and signed up for free. To send a message I had to pay $2.99 for three sent messages. And then paid $15.99 for 8 messages to be sent.
    After sending a message a couple messages. I realized it was an AI operated sight.

    I just became aware that my credit card has been charged on an average 0f 40.00 dollars per month since 10/2024 for a total of 400.00 dollars from ****** ******** I did not approved this charges on my credit card and have never used their services. I called the ****** at the number listed on your BBB page 1-800-861-3002. A call center girl in ASIA answered my call asked me many questions relating to my credit card and wanted an email which I don't have. nothing was resolved.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your message. First of all, we would like to address the fact that the information provided in the complaint is not entirely accurate. While there has been charges placed on the users card for the account maintenance fee, which is clearly indicated in the T&C, the amount in total charges is several times lower than what had been indicated by the user. All charges as of now have been refunded back to the user's card to ensure that this situation is resolved as soon as possible.

    Nov. 19th 2024. $39.99 I spoke to them and was informed I was charged a non refundable "maintenance fee" for not logging into my account for over **************************************** ***************** I had them delete my account.

    The company claims that the women are local but they are not. Some of the women seem to be AI generated responses and designed to get money out of their customers with long winded conversation! Nothing says this is a legitimate company !

    This business puports to be a site for connecting with locals. My brother (***** ********** age 67 and not mentally competent) found his way to this site. He has been engaging with a person claiming to be from his town (*************, **) and shown a picture of an attractive 30 year old woman. She has told my brother that she is very excited to meet him and wants to get to know him better prior to meeting. We discovered thru credit card records that they have talked dozens of times over the last month. Each call costing him 40 to 60 dollars. She has yet to set a meeting. It's always,"maybe this weekend." I believe her profile to be fake. She is employed by the business to string my brother along and bill him as much as possible. The company is taking advantage of a gullible, schizophrenic person who is not capable of seeing the ruse.Please make other people aware that the "local" profiles on their site are fake. The business puports to be a match making site; but the advertising is false and misleading.

We would need additional information on the user mentioned in the complained so this case could be investigated further as we do not collect personal information of the users and cannot identify the user mentioned in the complaint. Users can be identified either by their username or email id and we would kindly request to provide that information for further checks. 

    Also, since this concern is raised not by the user himself but by another person (brother), we would need documents proving that the person who submitted the complaint is a legal guardian of the user mentioned in the complaint to ensure that we can proceed and suspend the users account on the guardians request. Alternatively, it is also advised that the guardian limits the users exposure to the internet or to the website so there are no further charges incurred while this case is being looked into. 

    P.S. since the complaint contains sensitive personal information of the user, we appreciate that it is not made public to protect the privacy of the user.
