Re: ***** *** ***** ********
To Whom It May Concern:
Thank you for the opportunity to
respond to the complaint submitted by ***** *** ***** ********.
Enium Capital Group LLC (“Enium”)
served as a loan facilitator in this matter and is not the lender, not the solar dealer, and not the installer. The financing was
originated by Georgia’s Own Credit Union, and the solar system was
installed by an independent contractor not affiliated with Enium. Following
disbursement of funds, Enium provided limited servicing support but holds no
authority to alter loan terms, cancel financing, or adjust credit reporting.
System Installation and
Fulfillment:
Contrary to the claims of breach
of contract, all available records indicate that the system was fully installed
and activated:
Final Sign-Off was completed by ***** ******** on August 8, 2024.
Permission to Operate (PTO) was issued on September
24, 2024, by Oncor Electric Company.
Array Photos confirm the solar panels were
installed on the property.
System Monitoring Data confirms the panels
have been fully functional.
These steps collectively confirm
that the solar dealer fulfilled its contractual obligations, and the loan terms
became enforceable by the lender. See attached documents.
Communication and Collection
Efforts:
Enium, on behalf of the lender,
used the contact information provided at the time of the loan and made over
100 documented attempts to contact the borrowers and collect payment once
the system was active. No record exists in our system showing that the
Kirklands raised any complaint or concern during this time regarding system
performance or completion.
Loan Charge-Off and Credit
Reporting:
Due to prolonged non-payment, the
lender was forced to:
Charge off the loan on April 30, 2025,
reporting it as 180+ days past due with an unpaid balance and a
loss to the company of $70,000 in principal alone;
Disconnect the solar system for non-payment
after sending:
A disconnection notice to the borrower on
December 26, 2024, and
A notice to the installer on January 16, 2025.
As a result of this default, the loan
was reported accurately as a charge-off by the credit grantor. The lender
has confirmed that no correction will be made to the credit report, as
the default and charge-off were warranted by the facts.
Conclusion:
Enium has no authority to override
lender credit reporting or cancel debt obligations. If the Kirklands believe
any error exists in the reporting, they may contact Georgia’s Own Credit
Union directly or dispute the item with the applicable credit bureaus.
Enium stands ready to support the lender with documentation but cannot act
independently in this matter.
Sincerely,****** *****, Regulatory and Legal Affairs Manager

RE: Response to Complaint *********, ***** / BBB Case #********
Genisus ************ #********
To Whom It May Concern,
This letter serves as Enium Capital Groups (Enium) formal response to the complaint submitted by ***** ********* regarding a financed solar installation.
Clarification of Eniums Role
Enium acted solely as a facilitator in the origination of the financing associated with the customers solar ****************************** is not the lender, installer, warranty provider, or servicer. The lender for this loan is ********************, and the installer was Revolution, hired through **********************. Importantly, the solar dealer is not an agent or affiliate of either Enium or ********************, and neither financial party is responsible for the dealers installation decisions, workmanship, or representations.
Summary of System and Loan Status
The customer's concern centers around the improper installation of 132 panels based on incorrect plans. Revolution acknowledged the error and indicated that they left additional panels as compensation and pursued correction with the utility.
The system ultimately received Permission to Operate (PTO) as confirmed by the dealer in November 2023.
Enium remained actively engaged throughout the resolution process, providing multiple updates to the customer between November 2022 and January 2024.
The account was paid in full on October 18, 2023, and there is no remaining balance.
Loan Payments and ACH Authorization
Loan payments were made consistently via automated ACH withdrawals beginning with the first payment on December 6, 2022,and continuing monthly for a full year until the loan was satisfied. ACH payments cannot be initiated without express authorization and banking information provided directly by the borrower. In this case, the borrower completed ACH enrollment via the Launch Servicing portal on December 2, 2022.
This enrollment and ongoing use of ACH demonstrate that the borrower provided the necessary information and consent to Launch Servicing to facilitate automatic payments.
Warranty Concerns and Documentation
The borrowers concerns regarding cancellation of warranty coverage due to workmanship must be directed to the installation company and the warranty provider, as neither Enium nor the lender had any role in system installation or warranty terms. If the borrower requires further documentation regarding the loan, they may contact ******************** or Launch Servicing, the authorized loan servicer.
Enium is committed to transparency and customer support, and we regret any difficulties the customer experienced with their installation provider. However, Eniums role was limited to facilitating financing, and all borrower obligations under the financing agreement were fully satisfied.
Please let us know if any additional information is needed.
Sincerely,

On or about October 1, 2022, I had an agreement with ********** to set up a full working solar system. As of today, I still do not have a working system. I continue to pay the loan while the bank Enium has had 2 solar companies work on my system. There has been no permits nor ionspections done. Additionally, my ceiling is damaged from the installation where water fills through under the panels. On or about 12-30-24, the 2nd solar company Enium sent to the issues and finish my system, Volaic recommended I reach out to Enium because they were being pulled from the project. As of 3-5-2025, we had a day where it rained 0.25 inches and I came home to a flooded bedroom with water dripping from my ceiling again making damages worse that before.Enium stated there would be repairs after the 1st incident I had yet it never happened. I need a refund off the loan put in place and repairs from damages caused by a system that wasn't inspected. Not only is my ceiling damaged in multiple spots but so is my floor now as well.Business Response

Subject: Response to BBB Complaint *********** ***** II
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the complaint submitted by Mr. *********** ***** II regarding his solar system installation. We understand his concerns and have been actively working to provide assistance where possible, despite not being the lender or the solar dealer in this transaction.
To clarify our role, Enium is a loan facilitator and not responsible for the installation or servicing of solar systems. However, we have proactively stepped in to help Mr. ***** find a resolution.
Our Efforts to Assist:
We have been in communication with Mr. ***** and have made multiple attempts to assist with securing an installer to address his concerns. Unfortunately, there is currently no available installer in his area of **********, though we continue to seek options.
We have advised Mr. ***** that he may independently find a qualified company to assess and repair the system, and we have offered to review any quote he submits. However, he has not yet provided any proposals for review.
Regarding the reported roof leaks, it is important to note that the system was installed in October 2022. Roof maintenance and repairs, including leaks, are typically the homeowners responsibility, and given the passage of time, we recommend that Mr. ***** work with his homeowners insurance to address the matter promptly.
Ongoing Commitment:
On March 7, the same day we received the BBB complaint, we responded directly to Mr. ***** reiterating these points and reaffirming our willingness to support him. We remain open to reviewing any qualified repair proposals he submits and will continue to explore potential installation partners in his region.
While we understand Mr. ****** frustration, we have taken all reasonable steps within our role to assist, and we encourage him to take the necessary actions to move toward a resolution. We hope this clarifies our position and demonstrates our commitment to assisting customers whenever possible.
Please let us know if any additional information is needed.

***SUBJECT: Response to BBB Complaint ****** ********; #********
Dear ******,
Thank you for your correspondence submitted through the Better Business Bureau. We value the opportunity to address your concerns and provide clarification.
We have reviewed your complaint and reached out to you directly via email on December 16 and December 17, 2024, to better understand your concerns. We also reviewed the history of your account and associated loan agreement to address the points you raised.
***LOAN AGREEMENT AND INSTALLATION TIMELINE
According to our records, the loan agreement was signed by both you and your co-signer, Shaikeynan ********, on June 23, 2022. Following the agreement, the solar panel installation commenced at your residence, underwent multiple inspections, and payments were made consistently via debit card from October 2022 through November 2024. Additionally, in April 2024, ACH payments were set up for the loan.
Given this timeline and the active participation in the loan and installation process, we are seeking clarification regarding your concerns about fraudulent signatures. If the signature was indeed fraudulent, could you provide further details or evidence? This will help us investigate the matter thoroughly and take appropriate action.
***CLARIFICATION OF ROLES
To assist in understanding the parties involved:
-Enium Capital Group facilitated your loan application with the dealer and lender you selected.
-LAUNCH Services manages your loan payments.
-Georgia's Own is the financial institution that issued your loan.
Eniums role is limited to facilitating the loan agreement and providing customer support regarding the financial aspects of the contract. If you are experiencing technical issues with your solar system, please refer to the warranties included in your contract.
***CONCERNS REGARDING BANK ACCOUNTS AND FRAUD
You mentioned that neither you nor your co-signer set up the bank accounts connected to the loan payments. If you suspect fraudulent activity or unauthorized transactions, we recommend notifying the lender and law enforcement to ensure the issue is addressed appropriately. Please share any documentation or evidence to help us investigate further.
***CLARIFICATION OF YOUR COMPLAINT
In your communication, you mentioned, No one is taking accountability for the mishaps of the contract that I did sign and agree to. Could you specify the particular issues you would like addressed? This will enable us to provide a more targeted resolution.
Additionally,if your concerns relate to understanding the terms of the contract or the payment arrangements, we can review the documents with you in detail. For your convenience, we have attached a copy of the signed loan agreement and solar contract for reference.
***NEXT STEPS
Once we receive additional details regarding your concerns, we will do our best to provide further assistance. Our goal is to ensure transparency and address your complaint comprehensively.

Hi ****,
Weve received your complaint from the Attorney General and want to address it with you directly. As a reminder, Enium is not your solar installer, and like you, weve been impacted by your solar company's actions, which are outside of our control.
In response to your concerns, weve been doing everything we can to get your project up and running. In fact, we reassigned your project to eEquals, who completed their part and resolved system issues, as we communicated previously. Now, were moving to the final stage: securing a Permission to Operate (PTO). This step requires us to reassign your project to another contractor to complete this processat no additional cost to you. We have also communicated this to you in our previous email.
Please know that these additional steps are beyond our usual responsibilities, and this approach is new for us. However, we recognize the difficulties youre facing and that is why we have stepped in to help where we can. Please know you havent been forgotten, and were here to support you throughout this process.
For your ********************** Certificates (SRECs), we recommend contacting the IL Shines program directly, as were unable to assist in this area, but they can guide you on the necessary steps.
Regarding the federal tax credit, heres a quick overview: its a government program with specific eligibility requirements, and customers must apply directly. The amount of the credit or refund is based on your tax liability in the year you apply. You can reapply each year (if eligible) until reaching 30% of your initial loan amount. Since were not tax professionals, please consult a tax advisor for more detailed information. We understand that this situation has impacted everyone involved. While were committed to helping resolve the issues with your system, were unable to offer compensation for the time lost. If you feel a resolution is warranted for the challenges youve encountered over the past year, you are certainly within your rights to address this with your original installer as you see fit.
We hope this information is helpful. Please be assured we remain committed to getting your system fully operational and will continue supporting you every step of the way.

In April ************************ checking into solar power. Revolution solar found this single female who lives alone who had excellent credit, and soon after my nightmare began. In October I woke 1 morning at around 9am to people on my rooftop. I was puzzled because I wasn't notified of anything. The entire project was about the same quality service! The sales pitch was very convincing because with the grants and tax breaks, going to solar would be almost basically free or costs would be less than $10,000. Couldn't beat that, would be able to go on more trips etc..Afterthe panels were finished they didn't get the stuff active for an additional 9 months or so. I contacted my electric company myself to check to see what needed to be done yes since revolution hadn't followed up on anything at the time. Finally in November my regular payment schedule was to start on the $27,000 loan for this project. I had some of the payments adjusted due to the project being incomplete, however they still need paid. I have been paying on the loan and more than a year goes by I have received absolutely nothing for funding on it and I do not qualify for any tax breaks. I'm struggling, getting harassing phone calls from different debt collectors or consolidation lines, while trying to find what I have to do myself to recieve some funding for it! I am extremely disturbed about the entire experience and will not feel ok with paying more for that project than what I paid for my property! I need help, this is where I'm at with it still.Business Response

Hi *****,
We received a copy of your complaint from the Attorney General and wanted to reach out to you directly. We understand that you may be facing challenges with your solar loan, and were here to offer support wherever possible.
Please keep in mind that Enium is not your solar installer; we did not participate in the sales process, nor did we make any promises regarding rebates or incentives. Revolution was the installer you selected, and any commitments or representations were made by them, not Enium.
Based on your complaint, it appears that issues with payments and the absence of anticipated rebates may be causing frustration. In Section B of your solar contract (Notice to Customer, page 8), which you signed and dated April 29, 2022, there is a disclaimer stating that the contractor "makes no promises or guarantees as to the amount of incentive provided by the Illinois Adjustable Block Program, Federal Tax Rebates, or **************."
To help clarify, please note that the federal tax credit is a government program with specific requirements, and it's not a guaranteed benefit. Customers apply for this credit based on their tax liability for the year of installation, and it may be claimed annually until reaching the full 26% of the starting loan amount, provided there is sufficient tax liability. For any questions on this, consulting with a tax professional can provide the most accurate guidance.
For information on your states ********************** Credits (SRECs), we recommend contacting the IL Shines program, which can offer detailed assistance and next steps for obtaining these credits.
Please let us know if theres anything else we can help clarify. Were here to support you, and we hope this information provides some guidance.

While we understand the frustration Ms. ******* is experiencing, there is not action Enium can take to assist her with her rebates or incentives with the state and federal government. We gave her the only information we have in our initial response to assist her with these incentives. Stated, "please note that the federal tax credit is a government program with specific requirements, and it's not a guaranteed benefit. Customers apply for this credit based on their tax liability for the year of installation, and it may be claimed annually until reaching the full 26% of the starting loan amount, provided there is sufficient tax liability. For any questions on this, consulting with a tax professional can provide the most accurate guidance. For information on your states ********************** Credits (SRECs), we recommend contacting the IL Shines program, which can offer detailed assistance and next steps for obtaining these credits."
Enium was not part of the sales process and cannot be responsible for any promises made by the dealer regarding incentives or SRECs. Payments are outlined in your Promissory Note with your lender which outline what the payment would be with and without the federal credit. Please contact your tax preparer or accountant to apply for the solar federal credit, and Illinois Shines regarding the state SRECs. I hope this information helps clarify your concerns.

My $49,000 Solar Panels were installed on my roof in DEC 2023 by Revolution Solar (plant ID 3076740). However, no inspection or coordination with my utility company occurred, Also, the cost doubled from my initial quote, the DTU left at my house was not operational (I got a new DTU)
I can see that the solar panels are working, but are not operational because the electric company won't exchange the meter and start harvesting the solar energy because they need the installer to submit an online application. The electric company needs specific information. I told the electric company that the installer went out of business. The electric company said I need to find a contracter to inspect the panels. I am paying for the panels and no one is able to help me make the system operational. When I called the solar panel loan company Ennium Capital group (now partnered with Launch Servicing LLC), they told me to file an online complaint, and that solar panel companies do go out of business. The installation happened 8 months ago and I don't know who can help me.Business Response

Hi Catherine,We received a copy of your complaint from BBB. We wanted to let you know that we are already in the process of looking for a new installer who will help you get your project up and running. We informed you last August 5 via emailing the email associated with your account, [email protected], regarding the search for a new installer.
Please know that the search for a replacement solar company to complete your project is taking longer than anticipated. To expedite this process, we strongly encourage you to obtain a couple quotes from local solar companies who are willing to take on your project and forward them to us for a comprehensive review. This will allow us to identify the best option for moving forward.
Should you prefer not to seek assistance independently, please be advised that the timeframe for securing a replacement company may be extended. We kindly ask for your patience during this period.
Thank you for your understanding.Kind regards,

Hi Roseanna,
Thank you for sharing your concerns in the BBB complaint we received this morning. Unfortunately, Enium is neither the solar dealer nor the lender in this project. Our role is to facilitate the loan application for the lender. Your solar dealer's actions or their installation performance concerns will need to be taken directly to them for further action.
On June 14, our team advised you to contact your solar installer, EPC Solar, regarding the issues with your system. Were you able to get in touch with them? If not, I encourage you to reach out to EPC Solar directly at ********************** ** ************ so they can address your concerns.
At this stage, a refund on your loan account is unfortunately not possible. If the frustration you're experiencing is due to a non-working system, it is crucial to work with EPC Solar to resolve it. However, if you're having trouble reaching them, please let us know, and we will do our best to assist you further.
We appreciate your understanding and are here to support you.

I recently purchased a product from Enium Capital Group, LLC. The product description states that it comes with a warranty. However, when I contacted the company about a warranty claim, they informed me that the product does not have a warranty. to have a warranty because the company that installed the solar panels went out of business on the project.I contacted ENIUM for a solution and told me could not help me. ENIUM was aware that Revolution Solar already had many complaints but financed the project anyway. Now I have electrical issues and nowhere to turn. Found through an Electrician that my panel wasn't up to code sent the information to ENUM and was told they could not help me. I need them to either have it serviced at ENIUM expense or let me out of this contract because what I purchased does not have a Warranty because no company.Business Response

Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. We understand the frustration this situation has caused. Enium has been assisting borrowers and lenders affected by the closure of this dealer, ensuring the completion of their solar projects at no additional cost to the borrower.
We have uploaded the Permission to Operate document to your account, which is issued by the utility company upon inspection of the system post-installation. Our review of your active solar monitoring indicates that all panels are producing as expected. The utility company has inspected your system, confirming it is fully operational and compliant with the design specifications. If you encounter any electrical issues at this stage, please contact the manufacturer, as the system remains under warranty. Since the dealer is no longer in business, they cannot service your system. You will need to reach out to the manufacturer for a list of approved solar dealers who can assist you.
Regarding the warranty, we are actively seeking alternatives for those who signed up for Solar Insure but are not covered following the dealer’s closure. We have added you to our contact list and will notify you if we find a suitable solution.Enium is neither the solar dealer nor the lender in this situation. However, we are committed to supporting lenders and borrowers with incomplete systems due to the dealer’s closure. Our goal is to ensure the system is operational at no extra cost to the borrower. Since your system is fully operational, any electrical issues post-installation fall under the manufacturer’s warranty and are beyond our jurisdiction.

I am rejecting this response because:
The system is not working properly. I tried to upload some photos showing that the electric panel is not connected properly and the ground wire is not connected to the ground. There was no list of companies to provide service on this system . Also, the solar panel is not working as was told that it was supposed to work. I still have the same amount of light bill that I had before the solar system so it may be working, but it’s not providing what it was promised to provide.

I have a contract with Enium capital through a solar loan. The contract clearly states that the payment amount would be reduced in accordance with the principal balance being reduced after the federal government's 30% tax credit was applied. We applied the tax credit within 48 hours of receiving it and the payment was not reduced. In contacting the company, they refused to reduce it locking us into a higher payment despite their terms being met.Business Response

Why choose a BBB Accredited Business?BBB Business Profiles may not be reproduced for sales or promotional purposes.
BBB Business Profiles are provided solely to assist you in exercising your own best judgment. BBB asks third parties who publish complaints, reviews and/or responses on this website to affirm that the information provided is accurate. However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.
When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.
BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this company, please let them know that you checked their record with BBB.
As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
