      Company pushes “free returns” but is misleading advertising. I purchased two outfits; neither size fits and that is smallest size. My age group (70’s) and clothes appropriate for that age group are not offered on this site.
      When asked for full refund I was refused. Then finally told I could have a %50 store credit and %50 refund. But only after I returned everything and then CONTACT THEM AGAIN… for my cash refund.
      I have never shopped online where there were no cash or partial refunds and particularly when the items both were definitely very different (purchased clothing) than any of the other clothing offered. In reading reviews about this comp there have been numerous complaints about their business ethics.

      I made a purchase that was dvertrised as free returns, satisfaction guaranteed. now its just for store credit. the material is TERRIBLE

      I placed an order through the SexyModest Boutique website on June 23, 2025, after being influenced by prominent “easy returns” and “free returns” claims across the site. Based on this language, I believed I could return items for a full refund if they didn’t work out.

      When the items arrived, I was immediately disappointed in the quality. The material was thin, cheap, and not consistent with the representations on the website. I attempted to return the items and was then informed that the company only offers store credit or exchanges—no refunds under any circumstances. This directly contradicts the site’s language around “easy returns,” which is misleading and deceptive.

      When I contacted customer service, I was offered a 50% refund “as a favor,” despite receiving low-quality goods and being misled about the return policy. If they are able to offer partial refunds, then they clearly can issue full refunds—but are choosing not to.

      After researching, I discovered that many other customers have filed nearly identical complaints, indicating a clear pattern of deceptive advertising and inadequate customer service.

      I ordered a set of clothes from the SexyModest website on Facebook. I fully expected that if it did not fit that I would be able to return for a refund. The set did not fit and I did not like the fabric. So I returned it. I emailed only to find out that they only give store credit and not a refund to the credit card. I emailed again to request that refund be placed to my credit card only to get an email saying that they would help me pick out something else I want. I don't want anything else. I want my credit card refunded.

      This business deceives you with their guarantee that you’ll love your clothes. When I received my expensive clothing, the elastic design was way too small for a normal size waist (I wear a size 4) and the ads show all the models grabbing the waist and pulling out so loosely stating it’s so comfy and loose. The most uncomfortable pants in the waist I’ve ever tried on! Then they said I could only have a store credit or a credit with Shop Pay and that should be illegal! I deserve to have a full refund and return these items back to them!

      VERY DECEPTIVE marketing. They post FREE RETURNS but will not return your money - by "free returns", they mean they will give you store credit only. The way they list free returns is sneaky and deceptive. I've been trying to use the stupid useless store credit, but nothing I've ordered either fits correctly and/or the fabric is terrible so I do not want to keep it. They finally agreed to give me 50% back as a refund. After 14 days of no refund, I reached out and they said "oops it went to you as store credit". They are supposedly refunding the 50% now. Hopefully they actually will so I can recoup some of the wasted money
      I feel like I've been scammed by some crappy overseas company.

      Ordered two outfits on 5/7. Recognized one was the wrong size. Used the chat and email to request the size be fixed. They told me it was too late and that I needed to order the right size and they would return the other once I received it. Ordered the third outfit on 5/7. Told I would get the new outfit in time for my trip. 5/17 I chatted with them and am told it will be there Monday (after I leave) and they’re sorry but have no control over shipments. Would not have spent more money at this company if they were honest about me not getting it in time.

      This place is a scam. The clothes are nothing like what they advertised. They are cheap and they are ill fitting. They will not issue a refund and if you even wanted a store credit, you have to pay MORE to return the clothes to be able to use the refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.

      Wish I would have read all the complaints here. I too ordered becuase of their full refund and free return shipping. I am currently trying to get a refund to my method of payment. Quality of the clothing is so poor I would NEVER order anything else from them. The seams look like they were done by someone who just started sewing. In fact with my limited skills, I am 100% confident I could make something better on a first try. With higher quality 'non-wrinkle' material. The elastic feels like an old rubberband crunching and splitting when pulled. The color can also be seen through the white skirt material.
      The store credit means nothing if you will never buy another item from them.
      I just want to return the items and get my money back!

      Very deceptive return policy. They make you pay a separate "free" return fee, What they do not tell you is they do not refund you your money. They o lt give an in store credit. I have been trying g to communicate with them. There is only an email option. Live chat has never been available when during posted hours. Stay away from this comoany.
