    On August 18th 2025 I had a salesman **** ******* from BRD Pest Solutions License #: 4000-2543 knock on my door to tell me about a "$49 special" they were offering a one-time fee to try their service out at a reduced price of their normal fee. Then he told me that they would go ahead and set up our next service appointment and if we decided we did not want to keep the service all we had to do was cancel it. There was no mention of a 12-month contract, nor that if I cancelled our service there would be a very high priced early cancellation fee of 80% of services for a years period of time. He then told me that they would need a credit card to hold for the appointment and it would not be charged until the $49 special" was completed. He entered my information on his phone, put my credit card information in and then asked me to sign for the authorization of the credit card. He left and shortly after I received an email stating that I was now in a 12 month contract with them and that if I cancelled I would have to pay 80% of the yearly cost. This was very underhanded as I never saw a contract and only saw that I was signing for the credit card. That signature was used for this contract. They came out for their initial $49 spray which literally did nothing to help. Since this time I have tried to speak to someone about this matter and I cannot get anyone to answer my emails, calls or texts. They continue to send me texts to review them, but nothing to resolve this issue about their very shady and fraudulent business practices. This company seems to be doing this to many people and should be shut down and no one should have to pay $400 on a contract they did not see or sign.

    BRD pest services had a door-to-door salesman come by my house. I agreed to service given they follow certain rules that I, as a customer, had the right to request. They did not uphold to agreed upon requests, after the salesman said they would, and service was not what was sold. Initial treatment the tech was at my house for 5-10 minutes max. Also showed up at a time that wasn’t agreed on. I called numerous times to discuss and try to give them a chance to fix the problems. Any local number given was prompted to text correspondence only, and no solution was agreed on. Then called the customer service number which is based in Utah, and those reps do nothing but argue and refer to dash cam footage. They claim their tech was at my house for much longer than what he actually was. After treatment had more activity from bugs and they claim it’s because their product is working and pushing them out. I’ve had other pest services in the past and only activity spotted was dead bugs that needed to be disposed. This company claims that their products push bugs out of hiding and bugs walking around shows it’s working. They sold me on the granular service from the back fence to the front curb, which was appealing, if they truly did it. The tech was at my house for 5-10 minutes max which is not enough time to spread granules over my yard front and back. My house cameras confirmed they didn’t granule my yard as promised. Due to many failed attempts of calling locally and failed attempts for them to do as requested for service, I requested cancellation and they also stated I have a remaining balance. I’m taking the time to write this so others can be educated to the poor service this company delivers, and I hope to never have any dealings with them again. I am certain they will continue to pursue the cancellation fee, but I prefer to move on and avoid any dealings with this company moving forward.

    A Young man selling the product told us one thing and the what was delivered was something completely different. We were told that they would treat for all pests in an around our house and that they would make the outside of the home look brand new by them cleaning all prior pest debris off of the house. The outside of the house was hardly touched at all.

    I call to cancel and they didn't answer. Left a voicemail, with no return calls. I sent texts emails, you name it an they never reached back out. The most unprofessional company i think i have ever dealt with. I finally call the main number and got with an account manager. He says the only way to cancel is with a $450 cancellation fee. The amount left on my contract was only $500. This was absolutely ridiculous and i will never do business with them again. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

    I am filing this complaint due to ongoing billing issues and unauthorized service attempts by BRD Pest Solutions, despite my repeated requests to cancel my account.

    In April 2025, I paid for an initial pest control service in cash. Shortly after, I received repeated calls, texts, and emails demanding payment. I had to send them a photo of their technician holding the cash (taken with his permission) because he refused to provide a receipt. This was an unpleasant experience, and I requested to cancel my account immediately.

    Last week, I received a text stating that a technician would be sent out for a quarterly recurring service. I never signed up online or agreed to recurring visits. I called the company—no answer—and sent a text to cancel. No one responded. Nevertheless, a technician showed up at my door. I told him I had canceled my account and didn’t want any service. He left without doing anything—but the next day, I received a bill for the visit.

    This morning, I received another bill stating a technician had serviced my home at 8:20 a.m. I was home the entire time. While I did hear knocking, when I opened the door, no one was there. Again, no service was performed, yet they are billing me.

    I am now being charged for two separate service visits that never occurred. This is completely unacceptable. I have made it clear I want no further service, and I should not be billed for unperformed work. This situation needs to be resolved immediately.

    Requested Action:

    1. Cancel my account permanently
    2. Remove both outstanding invoices
    3. Confirm in writing that I will not be billed or contacted for future service

    BRD Pest Solution's salesman came to our door to pitch his company's service. We were told that they were offering a one-time fee to try their service out at a reduced price of their normal fee. Then he told use that they would go ahead and set up our next service appointment and if we decided we did not want to keep the service all we had to do was cancel it. There was no mention of a 12-month contract, nor that if we cancelled our service there would be a very high priced early cancellation fee. The company rep I spoke to claims they sent me a copy of the "contract" via email; however, when I went through my email, the only thing I had received from the company was a receipt for the fee for the first time application of their service. When I brought up the fact that I had not received any type of contract, nor was I told about one, and was told false information, the rep told me, "There isn't anything I could do, and I went ahead and cancelled your service and charged you the early termination fee." They proceeded to tell me to have a good day and ended the call. This is a complete scam, and unacceptable that this business practice is allowed to happen and then cost me almost $400.

    A charming young man came to our door to sell us pest control. He named 3 of our neighbors that had signed up, offered us a deal for the first treatment and then had us sign for the service with a credit card. He was not transparent as to the full year contract and $679 charge for early cancellation. I called to cancel and was told of the charge, which I immediately said we were not paying, and this rude man said I am charging your account for the cancellation then hung up on me. I immediately received a receipt of payment on our credit card. This is a very shady business and in addition to their terrible service (still lots of bugs) there was total lack of follow up to my calls when interior pest control was never done as promised. When I asked for a copy of the contract, I FINALLY was able to read it. Initially it was presented on a phone, which was impossible to read and the sales person did not disclose this. DON'T BE DRAWN IN BY THEIR SALESPEOPLE!!! Again, their treatments do not work and another neighbor is also trying to get a refund.

    In May 2025 a salesman walked up to us in our yard wanting to sell his pest control services. After explaining what it included, he proceeded to offer a $50 discount for a one time service if he could use my name with the neighbors. I told him that would be ok. He then asked for a credit card for the discounted payment saying it would be a couple days before he ran the card. Within minutes of his leaving, he ran my card thru the bank.
    He asked me to sign his iPad for the credit card approval.
    On July 14,2025 my housekeeper called me and said that the pest control guy was here. I told her to have him wait until I got to the house in 5 minutes. When I got there he said he already sprayed around my perimeter and needed to go into the house. I told him no. I would never let someone in my house that I did not know. I showed him where the outside bait trap they had left after the initial visit so he could pick it up. He asked again if he could do my house inside and I told him no again. So he left.
    My credit card was ran again for $179.00 so I called the parent company and told her I never agreed to any contract. She told me I did. I told her I did not want their service and that for what they did, I never saw any results. She told me I did sign a contract and that it was sent to me by email. It never was. I would have never agreed to a contract. Nor did I ever receive the email she said was sent. I closing with her she said I would have to pay a termination fee which I refused. I hung up and they immediately charged my credit card $477.00. I have contested with my bank.

    on June 19th the BRD representative Tess, came to our door claiming that they were treating the neighbors yard and house for bugs. She said it would cost $100 for the month and $189 quarterly. There was no mention of cancellation fees or charges if I didn't want any further services from them. She didn't have the paperwork, just her phone with the contract. After I signed to agree to the initial treatment, a contract was sent to my email showing that I had agreed to their terms which were not divulged to me in the first place. I have the recording of the conversation on my Ring camera. It actually feels like the solution they used attracted more bugs than previously. I called to let them know that we still had bugs in and around the house, they suddenly claimed that they didn't have any openings to come and do a retreatment. I called on July 9th to cancel my contract, then they told me I would owe them $607. So when she had me sign the agreement about the initial treatment, she did not divulge the contract termination fees. This is a rip off from a company that's not honest about their charges upfront.

    BRD past solutions offered me trial of treating my yard outside for $50 when a salesman came by. I understood this was a one time application to try it out. They automatically signed me up for monthly treatments and build me $140.71. I called and canceled andasked for a refund and they bill me $337.71 for canceling I asked for a total refund and they said no we cannot do this.
