I dont think I was represented properly which caused me to loose my case.I was harassed daily for paper work I had already sent in that they want you to fill out I honestly think they are scamming people. And now I'm unsure if this is a legit business?Business Response

I have tried multiple times to reach out to you so that we can discuss the concerns you have, including phone calls and an email. With the phone calls, I have been unable to leave a message because your mailbox is full. If you'd like to discuss your concerns, please give me a call back. I understand you're upset that things didn't go the way you had hoped. It's a lot easier to lash out against your attorney than to lash out against the government, but your anger and frustration is misplaced. My staff and I are the only ones who have been trying to help you, and we, too, wish the outcome had been different.
I want to make something very clear, though. You allege that we are "scamming people" and that "we are not who we say we are." I can't tolerate such allegations, especially when I'm your attorney and have been fighting on you behalf WITHOUT BEING PAID. Any fee I ever receive from any client is contingent out the outcome of the case, so if my clients don't win, I don't get paid. Clearly I have no ulterior motive than to represent each client to the best of my ability and to argue the case as best I can with the medical and vocational evidence that is available. Just because a client doesn't win doesn't mean I didn't do a good job representing them. It is ultimately up to Social Security to decide if they believe an individual should be awarded benefits. I can't control what they decide, and sometimes the facts of a particular case make it extremely difficult, or even impossible, to win.
If you'd like to discuss this further, please give me a call at ************************.

Thanks for bringing your concerns to my attention and for speaking with me earlier today. As I explained, I'm your attorney and you've been talking to my staff when you call into our office. We're very happy that we were able to get your case resolved in a favorable way. The work you've been having to do the last little bit has been in regards to your PERC interview with SSA and you've had to answer questions for them that only you can answer. I appreciate you being cooperative through this process.
If you have additional questions after our phone call from earlier, please let me know. I'm happy to get on the phone with you any time.
Thanks for trusting me and my office to help you through this process!

When I originally discussed the benefits of their help what I was told was not what actually took place. They guaranteed that I would speak to the same person regarding my case, not a bunch of different individuals each time I called or they called me. They said the only thing I needed to fill out other than signing my name was release of info for medical etc. And they would do everything else and if there was anything needed they would contact me so I could tell them. But every time they called it was someone different than the last person I talked to, I was doing all the forms 2 or 3 times because I would complete everything sent from SSI and then they would send it for me to fill out again. Anytime I called regarding how to answer one of the questions they would just say answer the question as it is asked on the form, I started with them 5/27/21 and since they couldn't seem to help me and I was still doing it all myself I stopped calling and taking their calls answer and received an email 10/21/21 that they were withdrawing from my case. I finally called a local law firm to help me after I received my 2nd denial from ssi (once they started helping me the only thing I had to do was sign my name and show up for any appointments, the lawyer did everything else.) and I just had my hearing 8/5/23, and was proclaimed fully disabled. Trajectory Disability has refused to release their fee even though they did nothing but attach their name and how much they want to be paid from all of my work to get disability. I don't feel that they should be awarded anything as they did nothing in the 5 months they considered me a client and then voluntarily withdrew. But if I have to give them anything I think it should only be a very small % and only to cover the 5 months for which they claimed me as a client. And I fully believe that is giving them more than they deserve for the lack of performance and assistance they actually provided...Business Response

Thank you for taking the time to talk to me about your concerns. As you mentioned, we withdrew from your case when we lost contact with you back in 2021. At the time we withdrew, we had just filed your Reconsideration appeal. We hope that your concerns about the fee for our services have been resolved. Please remember that Social Security must approve the fee that any attorney receives, and you won't be charged "double." Rather, Social Security would allocate the fee between the two attorneys you've used, based on the time they worked on your case. We agree with you that it wouldn't be fair if you had to pay double the fee, and we can assure you this won't happen.
The next step here is for the fee petition process to proceed, and for Social Security to determine how the attorney fee should be split. If you have any questions or concerns on this, I'd be happy to talk again. You're welcome to call back at any time.Initial Complaint

Myler Disability now Trajector Disability has been a real joke. They represented me for my final appeal hearing in front of the SSA judge on August 10, 2022. From 2018-2021 I had done all the applications and appeals myself. Basically all they had to do was send paperwork for representation of me and go to the hearing. The lawyer I was assigned was certain my case would be approved and was kind of right. It was half approved but the judge said they were going to list my inset date for August 19, 2022 and not from 2018 when I actually became disabled. How IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!
ANY HOW so I was told that they would ask for the judge to look it over again and make sure the date wasn't written in error. Judge said no that was the onset date. So next we had to do a federal appeal and I hadn't heard anything so I tried contacting them several times and wouldn't get a call back. Finally I did connect only to be told they didn't represent me any longer.
This whole time I've been waiting for the federal hearing for nothing.
What this means is that I can not do a damn thing about getting any owed back pay having fought for 4+ years for SSD and losing so much because I wasn't able to work that is hard to swallow. What's worse is they keep billing me and the SSA still says they ARE MY REPRESENTATIVESBusiness Response

********, we need you to contact our office. We have made numerous attempts to contact you, but have so far been unsuccessful.
As you have shared in your letter to the BBB, your case wasn't approved as far back as you would have liked. We understand your frustration that you wish SSA had decided things differently. It has been over a year since that decision was issued and because you are so extremely difficult to get a hold of, some of our further appeal options have been limited. We need you to respond to our messages.
Also, please understand that significantly more work that you are aware of has gone into helping you. We'd be happy to discuss this, so feel free to call.

I am rejecting this response because:
I was in contact with your office through February of this year when I was told that I was being dropped as a client. I was also in contact with the law firm that your office had sent my case to for the federal appeal. I completed the phone intake and certification they required and I was assured that I would have representation for the hearing. After that it was probably 3 weeks later when I received a letter stating that that law firm wasn't able to represent me and that your office was notified and would be in contact. When I then called to inquire about the status I was told that I no longer was a client and my file was no longer open.
I do want to discuss it and did call you back today so hopefully you can return my call.
Sincerely,

********, I am sorry for all the phone tag. I've tried calling you every day this week, and today I tried 3 separate times.
You were informed by the other law firm that they would not be able to help you with a federal district court (FDC) appeal. After that, we were never able to get a hold of you again to explore other options with other firms that could have helped with an FDC appeal.
As you know, your case has been approved. While we agree with you that the ALJ was wrong for using the onset date he used, we exhausted all administrative appeals rights and filing in FDC was your only other option. Our normal FDC partner was unable to help you, for the reasons they explained. I assume that all other FDC firms would have given you the same answer, but because we then lost contact with you, we were unable to explore this further.
If you are having any problems with your current benefits, please let us know and we'd be happy to take a look. However, at this point nothing can be done about the onset date SSA used when approving our case.
You can call me at ###-###-####, ext. 133.

I received a phone call with no context saying to call them.I called them, and then tried to learn why they called me. They wouldn't tell me and then hung up on me.Then when I tried to call back no one answered. I was trying to determine if there is a case of identity theft, or why they called me in the first place and where they got my phone number, what name they had registered to the phone number etc.Instead they just refused to give me any info (after initially calling ME) and then hung up.Business Response

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and for being so wiling to discuss this with us.
After further investigation, the reason we called you is because your name and number is listed as an alternate contact number for one of our clients. When our staff member tried calling her yesterday, she was unable to reach her and also tried calling your number. We apologize that the message our staff member left was ambiguous, and we further apologize that this same staff member wasn't able to give you a clear explanation when you called back. We'll be working with this employee and offering additional training on how to handle this better in the future.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to me directly.
Thanks!

I filed a claim for SSDI in Dec. 2020 on my own and was denied. I hired Trajector which had another name at the time around March 2021. They fought hard for me, after 2 appeals I was finally approved Feb. 2023. Thanks again!!! The problem that I have is SSA approved me for SSI for $21,000 and some. They paid me 16,000 and Trajector 5,000. Later they came back sent correspondence stating that I wasn’t entitled to the $21,000. I SSDI still owed me about $20,000 in back pay. So SSDI took the entire $20,000 from me to pay back the money that was send to me and Trajector. Trajector received the same correspondence as I did, so if I wasn’t entitled neither was Trajector. They did a great job for me but followed it up with straight dishonesty. I have been speaking with the SSA about this, I even filed an appeal about it, I am stilled waiting on a decision. Trajector were already paid attorney fees for getting me approved for SSDI. I haven’t heard anything from Trajector about the matter, but to take a survey. Now I am getting impatient because Trajector is trying to claim money that doesn’t belong to them.Business Response

Thanks for bringing this matter to our attention. We're grateful we were able to help you be successful with your case. We are sad to see the mistakes that Social Security has made here. I'd like to take a moment to outline what has happened, and to also explain how you and I have spoken about this and have addressed your concerns satisfactorily.
Social Security made a mistake when processing the attorney fee on this case. They sent 2 checks, instead of 1. We became aware of the mistake shortly after it happened and promptly returned the excess funds directly to Social Security. That check was sent back to Social Security nearly 2 months ago. We have checked with our bank and have verified that they did receive that check and have since processed it.
Your money is with Social Security and they are required to now release it back to you. I'm sorry that the process has been so long and drawn out, and unfortunately it is entirely due to this mistake by Social Security. We've done our best to promptly make things right, and now we all find ourselves waiting, yet again, on them to finish things up.
Thank you for taking the time today to discuss this matter further with me. I believe that we both agree this matter is satisfactorily resolved. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. I'm happy to help in any way I can!
We appreciate you trusting us to help with your case!Customer Answer

I've been with Trajector a couple years. Its very difficult and expensive to change lawyers on a disability case, or I would have done so sooner. They did not do any work (I filled out repetitive paperwork), they violated my privacy. They were incredibly rude and judgmental and I would never recommend going with them for a case. They did not wave their right to a fee, and they would if they had any decency at all.Business Response

Incompetent and ineffectual law firm. Utilized their services for SSDI claim. For 19 months, I continually called to ask the status of my claim and was told "Covid and admin delays". Once a SSDI claim goes over 6 months, it should be flagged for the supervisor. Finally after 19 months, TD called to find out what was up - and find out it had been sitting on the shelf not even assigned to anyone to work on. Then with my suicidal idealizations and combat PTSD, I was involuntarily committed about 3 months before my ALJ hearing. I called TD and gave them the info. Called up in May to ensure all documents were ready for the hearing in June. Go to the hearing, and my lawyer didn't even have that piece of documentation in my file, then gave me the excuse that "wasn't my job" - guess their salary paid lawyers on staff don't consider making sure your case THEY ARE PAID TO PRESENT is prepared when they present your case. They should stop advertising as a law firm, and as a bunch of overpaid paper pushers than can't even do that right.Business Response

********, your attorney spoke with you yesterday and explained where things are at with your case in the appeals process. We understand your frustration with how long SSA has taken to process your case. Your case hasn't taken any longer than the processing time for other cases, and no one has any ability to force SSA to work faster.
It is our understanding that you would like us to continue to help you through this process. If you'd like to discuss things further, please let us know. We sincerely want to help you be successful with this claim.
