    Didn't honor online coupon. Had an item in cart with a coupon code they were advertising on their site, and had to run to take care of an errand. Went to place order when I got back, and they had changed the item from being able to use the discount code, to earning bonus in store rewards points to it would be exempt from the coupon discount. Other models/styles of the item still worked with the discount, but not the one I was going to purchase. They are trying to push people to either pay full price, or only get their in store rewards points instead.

    This company's customer service and quality control is non-existent. They sent the wrong item. When I notified them of this their response was that once they receive it, they will "investigate" for 1-2 days and then process replacement. This might have been ok except it was a gift and needed sooner than that. Perhaps if they'd processed and shipped in a timely manner, as opposed to 10 days, this might have been acceptable. They did not READ my emails, just responded with a scripted reply. Phone calls went unanswered. I will never order from them again as they don't seem concerned with customer satisfaction and I would not recommend anyone ever order from them and take a chance. It seems, based on these reviews, they do get it right sometimes. I however, will never take that chance again. If I could give zero stars, I would.

    I wanted to buy a sleeping bag. Campsaver.com advertised 20% off. I went to that site and tried to apply the 20% off several times. It was so frustrating. I left the site. I went back on the site and now they offered me a chance to spin, and I did. I got 20% off. Again, I tried to apply that 20% discount, several times. It would not let me apply it. I left the site. I went back on the site, and I signed up for emails to get a 20% off. I tried to use that 20% off. I could not. It NEVER said that the 20% off was only good for certain items. I made a call to Camp Saver and the lady who answered the phone was of no help, at all. At this point, I have probably spent a couple hours trying to buy a sleeping bag. To no avail. When I first started out, I was so excited. I went home that night, very disappointed. Then, I called and talked to ***** and she "saved the day!" She was soooo kind and helpful. I finally ordered my bag and received a 20% discount. I was the happiest. Finally, someone who genuinely cared about my dilemma! She took her time to help me. My bad experience turned out good, because of her. I appreciated her, more than I could say. Now, I can be a repeat customer. Thank you, *****, for making it all better. ******

    Don't ever do business with this criminally dishonest seller! First, I got a defective item from them. When I returned it and asked for a refund, they tried very hard to convince me for an exchange instead. When I finally decided to exchange, they processed a new order of the same item with a MUCH HIGHER price without my consent. Then I understood why they tried to change my mind. This unauthorized transaction was literally a steal. When confronted via emails, they even tried to play stupid!

    I give it a no. Its website is confusing. Cheap cutout photos look like something out of the ****s. Better info about products by going to other websites.

    I ordered a pair of Hoka hiking shoes on March 20. The item was not on back order when I placed the order. I didn't receive the shoes until May 13! By then I already asked for an RMA and return shipping label and found another site to buy the shoes (at a cheaper price!) since I was leaving on a long trip on May 19. As soon as I received the box from Campsaver I returned it that day. They received the return on May 17 (per *** tracking). Campsaver's return policy is that they will issue a refund within 10 business days. 10 business days from May 17 is May 31. It is now June 6 and I still haven't received a refund. On chat with their customer service, they tell me that I will receive my refund within another 2 weeks. They had my money on March 20, and now I won't receive my refund until June 20 - so they had my money for 3 solid months. Absolutely horrendous experience.

    I took Campsaver.Com's invoice at face value after placing the order, it stated that shipping was FREE. But they came back saying it was a mistake and wanted me to pay $225 for shipping? Definitely not paying that, after the original invoice stated the shipping was free. Spoke to upper management and they didn't really didn't want to honor their original invoice price either. They need to post shipping charges from the get go, instead of springing unwanted surprises on customers wasting everyone's time

    I actually came here (to BBB) before I finalized my order and saw the negative reviews. I checked here because they did a weird security check on my cc that I had never dealt with before. The security check was just like a bank's ach verification (where they do two micro deposits). It made me nervous because that is how one usually verifies oneself* when liking bank accounts to be able to make transfers. (************************** moment? :). So, i called my cc company, and she said that it's not common, but it is safe. So, i let the transaction go thru. Campsaver gave an additional 5% off (an already good price) for going thru this trouble. I had a good experience. When i dealt with the customer service one phone or chat it was very professional with pleasant people. My product arrived quickly and as described (after all of the verifications). The charges that went from pending to transacted were exactly what the support staff said they'd be. I felt like they needed a bit of positive feedback since that was my experience with them, they deserved it. I'll buy from them again. (or ... (nervous) lol, i find out later they took my house, and i'll need a lot of camping supplies, that i'll be buying elsewhere :p .. if i have wifi, i'll update my review)Hope this helps ... (i'm not paid or got it free or whatever this disclaimer is supposed to cover .. i always wonder about that when i see such a contradictory review)
