    Cove is the absolute WORST! I got my initial system (3 window sensors, 2 door sensors, a remote disarm fob, and the control panel) within 1 week of ordering. Should have known right then that this company is far too anxious to take my money, but I was thinking maybe they're just that good. WRONG!!! I took everything out of the package and the control panel didn't work...straight out of the box it didn't work! I called the company, went through all their troubleshooting steps, still didn't work. Go figure. They told me they would send a replacement control panel. It took 3 MONTHS to get the new control panel...meanwhile they still were charging me for the service that wasn't even active! I had to call in and complain and they did credit for free months of service because they were charging me when it wasn't being used. I FINALLY received the new control panel and it did work. However, when I went to set the system up, the sensors are not compatible with the way my doors are made, so I cannot even use the system! By this time, my trial is over and I cannot return the equipment, so it is sitting in the top of my closet. Has never been used. I also got 2 Kami Doorbell Cameras (1 on my front door and 1 on my back door) My car has gotten broken into TWICE now since getting the cameras and the camera recorded NOTHING! It doesn't record for more than 6 seconds no matter what setting you put it on, and it won't record unless the doorbell button is pressed or you're less than 1 foot away from the camera. I called the company to see what can be done...they want to replace their "defective equipment" Nope. Cancel my contract! I'm done. Too many "defective equipment" (THEIR words) claims for me. They won't cancel my contract unless I pay the equipment fee of $189. $189 for equipment I CANNOT USE!!!!! No thank you. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST "home security" system I have used. I think it should be false advertising calling themselves a home security company. ZERO STARS!

    I hate this company. Ive had it over 2 years and EVERYTIME I ask them to cancel they deny my request and still charge me. If I could give 0 stars it still wouldnt be enough. System always down, windows always off line. If youre reading this please find another way to secure your home cause Cove aint it. They in business to take your money, thats it thats all

    Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money on this company. Horrible experience from day one. Equipment is always breaking down, no one contacts you when the alarm goes off. ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY!! You order replacement equipment and no one calls you to let you know its not coming... or that its on back order. No apology . The worst company. Go to someone else.

    I'm traveling during a holiday. My alarm went off. Their third party dispatch service claims responders were dispatched, however neighbors tell my my alarm is still going off. I'm unable to contact anybody at Cove to fix this. Apparently they don't work on holidays. So now my alarm will be going off for days until I can return. Hope my house doesn't burn down in the meantime. I can't cancel my service online, which should tell you something about this company. I'll be removing my equipment when I return and purchasing a system from a serious company

    I have this system in an ***** ** home. The system works fine . The tec, support is great. I have had a couple of issues which they helped me through. I have also had two alarms and Cove activated law enforcement. So why am I writing this? Well, the only way we can remotely activate or deactivate the system is with a key fob. We do this from our bedroom. It would be nice if Cove offered a larger pad with larger buttons that you could not only see, but also press while only pressing one button at a time. The key fob is small with buttons very close.

    Cove has been the absolute worst security company i have had the displeasure of dealing with. I have been with them for almost 3 years now with no issues until it was time to replace their malfunctioning security panel. I placed my initial call on November 11th. **** assured me they would place an order for an replacement and have the panel expedited. I called again on November 18th and to my suprise the panel was still not order nor was there any tracking information. I spoke with a ************************* **************** Manager who assured me the panel will be ordered and I would have it by November *****rd. Panel still was not ordered.As of today 12/5/2022 I placed another call to Cove for an update and was told once again they have not ordered my panel nor do they have tracking. Do not do business with this company. No point in buying a security system when you can't even secure your home or family during the holidays.
