    Ive used Coves DIY system for years, with a Simple Panel and multiple sensors: 5 door sensors, 4 glass break sensors, 8 flood sensors, 2 carbon monoxide sensors, and a fire sensor. The system historically provided supervision and low battery warnings reliably.Over time, after replacing some batteries, the panel stopped recognizing some sensors. After multiple conversations, Cove finally confirmed the Simple Panel had reached the end of its life and shipped a replacement. Setting up the new panel required reconnecting every sensor after multiple calls.About six months later, I returned from a two-week vacation to find that the alarm did not sound, even though the panel still displayed Alarm Away. Testing confirmed that doors could be opened with the alarm active and no alerts were triggered. The panel never indicated any loss of supervision or low battery issues.When I contacted Cove, initial explanations blamed metal doors or sensor installation issues, despite the system working for years. Eventually, they told me the sensors had reached their end of life a fact I had never been informed about in prior communications. My house was left unprotected in my absence, and I have not received an answer to my question seeking an explanation as to how this could have occurred. I no longer have confidence in this system. Users should be aware that both panels and sensors have end-of-life issues that may prevent alarms from functioning, and these risks may not be clearly communicated by Cove.

    This is an unethical business with unethical cancellation practices. I canceled my Alarm contract at the end of September 2025 when I sold my house. All was well until I accidentally set off the alarm two days later and could not get into the keypad to turn it off, so I had to call customer service to turn on the keypad. I explained the situation that I temporarily needed to keypad reactivated. What did they do? They immediately established me a brand new account and skipped a month of taking a payment out of my account but then began taking payments out again in November.When I called to cancel, for the second time, I was told theres a 30 day cancellation policy and Ill be also charged for December. Its unethical and I thought they were laws against these shady cancellation tactics. However, it appears this company has flown under the radar. Its actually too bad because they werent a bad ************* for the product I received but now I know theyre just another scammy subscription hounds.

    This company scammed us. If I could leave zero stars, I would. This is the absolute worst system you could get for home protection. Alarms were set off more than once on purpose and we never got a call or text like we were supposed to. We paid $24.00 a month for 24/7 live monitoring and NEVER received any of it. We canceled two months ago and have still been getting billed. A representative from **** called my husband asking about it and he told them we canceled two months because their system is garbage. They KNOWINGLY have been charging our credit card without permission. This company is a scam. Give your money to someone else.

    Absolute trash! You can not cancel if you are behind on a bill. Had a financial hardship and even Cove being my smallest bill, I couldn't take care of it. They will keep adding monthly charges even if you have told them you are no longer at the address on file and not using the services. You would think they would just keep your accounts past due balance and just close the account or send it to collections but NO. This is a horrible company.When you do pay the bill and ask to cancel, they will continue to ******* you with offers to try to keep you with them.The representatives do not keep correct notes from previous calls, and will continuously call you about the SAME issue you just spoke with someone else about the day before.This company needs to be SHUT DOWN or change the way they run this business. Absolutely disgusting predatory acts.

    ******. Called last year to cancel one of my accounts. Was assured "services had been terminated" and recently discovered a year later that they were still charging for my service. Of course, they won't let me cancel without paying off the balance. They've been sending me text messages that if I call in they'll offer a 50% off discount my balance. I tried to use that, and the support team acted like they had never even heard of it. Tried sending screenshots of it, they said they can't see it in their email. I ask to cancel all my remaining services and they have to send me to their "account services team" who then try to sweet talk me into not cancelling and offer $3 off my current service. Don't use them.

    *DONT DO IT!! COVE ***** SO BAD IT ALWAYS NEEDS UPDATED IT. ABOUT 25% OF THE TIME GIVES ME MY NOTIFICATIONS WHEN I'M NOT HOME THAT SOMEONE'S MOVING AROUND. AT HOME ALMOST CONSTANTLY DOING UPDATES AND INSTALLS. AND WHEN THOSE ARE DUE, NOTHING WORKS IT USES ALL eufy CAMERAS SO JUST get eufy to begin get oofy to begin with. You have to put your own s. D cards in certain cameras and it is a pain to find those videos.

    I ordered Cove Home Security through Affirm on 19 September 2025. I was told the equipment would arrive within 7-10 business days. I received an email on 25 September stating the order was delayed and given a new arrival date of 2 October 2025. I called to cancel the order on 29 September 2025, yet was told only the ****************** Team could cancel new business and it was outside of the business hours (9 a.m. - 5 p.m. MST). Note: It was 5:07 p.m. CST when I called, therefore it was only 4:00 p.m. MST. I called again on 30 September 2025 at 4:40 p.m. CST, which again was 3:47 p.m. MST, and was told again it was outside of business hours. I demanded to speak with a member of management and was told it was outside of business hours. I disconnected the call and called again. This call I was able to speak with a member of the ****************** Team, however he was more concerned with retaining my business than addressing the issue of false advertising of the previous to representatives that I had spoken with. After 30 minutes of declining his retention offers he finally cancelled the account but told me the equipment already has a tracking number. Therefore this means that I will have to wait for the equipment to be processed as returned through their warehouse before a refund could be issued. ******** customer service, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

    Ordered the system and $400+ worth of product, they beep all day and night, we tried to call and get it corrected and they sent new sensors that did not connect. I finally cancelled on July 27th and they charged me again for service on Aug 15th. I called again to get a refund on 8/18 and still no confirmation of receipt or refund anywhere and my account says I am due again in September. I am skeptical its a real company or actually monitors anything.

    ******* equipment, garbage monitoring, garbage customer service. After months of false alarms and the cops getting called to our house for no reason we had enough. Many of the alarms neither my wife nor I were notified for verification. Once the cops showed up while she was in the shower... Thanks cove. The alarm would even be triggered when it was not armed. When I called to cancel out plan we were met with very high-pressure customer service **** who would try to convince you to stay. After saying no to everything, "I just want to cancel" they agreed saying I would only be charged one more time. Fast forward two months later, I was charged two more times. So today I called to cancel again and was put through the same thing. We will see if it works this time. DO NOT give this company your service.

    Do not buy from this company! Nightmare is coming to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please, Please do not buy any monitoring service equipment or monitoring service from this company. The write *** that follow my review are totally accurate. I have been fighting this company for 18 months. NO SUCCESS. I truly believe there is only 1 person running the entire company. I have gotten no results. At one point they said they cancelled my service that I did not ask for in the first place and as of today they still charge my credit card. I cancelled my credit card as of today. Do not buy from this company. Deceptive sales tactics and equipment and they have numerous issues. With their personnel being the worst to do anything. I even sent thru registered and certified mail, with absolutely no returned response of any kind from the company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THIS COMPANY WILL MAKE YOU VERY UNHAPPY COULD ALSO AFFECT YOUR HEALTH THE WAY THEY DO D DECEPTIVE BUSINESS I HAD TO SELECT 1 STAR TO GO FORWARD WITH THIS REVIEW.
