3 starsMy mom (99) depends on these to get by.. recently one of the ear pieces stopped charging, so I went online to purchase a new battery for it. Evidently, since it's rechargeable , we have to send it in for a replacement and it will cost $275 + tax and shipping.!! Is it just me or is this an absurd amount to pay for a battery? And that is $275 for EACH ear piece. So all in, it's around $550 to replace these batteries???!!!!And she won't be able to hear for about 2 weeks as that's the approx turn around.TruHearing, Inc.

Rechargeable devices do not have a battery that can be replaced. If the device is less than 3 years old it would be covered and replaced with the warranty, with only a hourly charge for the healthcare provider. If the device is 3 years + a replacement device would be required which can yield a higher price. 1 starBEWARE> Notice all the negative reviews!! Was advised by ************* to get a hearing test just to see if I had hearing loss. I did not complain of any hearing problem. Only went for wax removal. Took test and asked if I had coverage.Then Dr ***** said I had mild loss and suggested I look into some hearing aides,Even told me to bring my wife in too. THIS IS A BIG SCAM> BEWARE.TruHearing, Inc.
