      I leased an item and returned it on 09/16. It’s now 10/02 and they will not refund me my money. Every time I call them they claim to “give it a few more days” before my money is returned.

      On January *******, I used Progressive Leasing to purchase wedding rings at Zales. My payment to them was supposed to be $200.00 a month. Instead, they took out $200.00 twice a month, and since I drive a school bus and get paid once a month, it put me in the negative BAD with the bank. The contract stated that I could return the items to Zales and nothing more would have to be paid by me. WRONG. Zales informed me that the items need to go to Progressive Leasing. Progressive Leasing refuses to give me an address where I can send them to. Plus they said I purchased 4 rings not 3, but Zales is backing me up on how many rings were purchased, 3 not 4. And even though I have paid for the rings, they want me to pay $4000.00 more, yes, that would be $6000.00 payback on a loan of $2500.00, because I have only paid $2000.00. They are extremely rude and hateful and, as previously stated, refuse to give me a return address. What do I need to do?

      After contacting Progressive Leasing at least a dozen times through email and by phone trying to get them help to help me pay what I owed. I finally was able to pay off what I owed then as I was sure I was ready to do another lease so I applied and was approved for $2530 but because of all the emails and phone calls they claimed to have made not only did they take away my $2530 I now have to call them to even get approved a loan. This is bait and switch at its finest.

      I am rejecting this response because: i have emailed the compliance department over a dozen times with no response. The most recent one on September 17th which they still have not responded to. Their portal as they claim doesn't work, they expect a person who is hard of hearing to talk on the phone instead of emailing them which under the *** is discrimination. If they want to talk they need to email me.

      I am rejecting this response because: They haven't resolved anything. They tried to blame me for the disappearance of my guaranteed approval lease. When that didn't work they tried telling me I was responsible because I put to many applications in. I provided them with proof but they just ignored it. They want me to send documents of my identity through unsecured channels when I told them no I would not do that they refused to help me any further.

I have explained to them time and time again I was approved and even provided them with proof that I had a guaranteed approval lease with *********** yet somehow after I refused to talk to ********* it disappeared.       I am rejecting this response because: They keep going on about applications but this is not about applications. This is about a guaranteed approval for *********** that mysteriously vanished after I refused to talk to an employee on the phone because I am hard of hearing. This is about the ** ****** insinuating I should use an interpreter because I have hearing loss in my left ear and violating my civil rights. I have nothing more to say until they reinstate my *********** application and yes I am talking about the one that disappeared.

      Company has sent 40 emails asking me to finish an application. I have unsubscribed to all their emails and affiliates 4 times. The company continues to send emails about an application that I never submitted, but rather started accidentally when buying a mattress.

      I ordered a PC through Best buy but used their leasing company progressive leasing well the computer only costed $999 but with leasing it, it was going cost almost $2500 I ended up paying 2 payments of $203 in one month on 8-29-24 and 8-31-24 without knowing it and then on September 3rd they tried taking 2 more payments out of my bank account which I didn't have so they charged me $25 calling it a bounce fee when they never shouldn't tried taking that money out anyway because I'm on a monthly plan I called to talk to customer service and she was extremely rude telling me she didn't see what I was seeing on my account I told her I had proof I take screenshots, download all transactions and write everything down but she didn't want anything to do with any of that she just kept arguing with me and I just found out that they have a $175 million lawsuit against them for scamming a bunch of people now I have to figure out how I'm gonna get out of this lease

      On Aug 4, I ordered a GPU from Best Buy and used Progressive Leasing as a payment source. I canceled the order on Aug 5th, and got a confirmation email from Bets Buy. I contacted Progressive Leasing in the days after canceling to ensure it was cancelled. They told me it would take 5-10 days to confirm cancellation. On Aug 16th, I saw that they tried to do a ACH withdrawal from my account which resulted in a NSF fee. On the 26th of August, I called again to get a status of closing the account and a refund status. They instructed me to call best buy directly. I chatted to them on their website and their rep said its cancelled on Best Buy end, so I would have to deal with Progressive Leasing. I called them, I got hanged up by a supervisor and finally after the third call go someone. I got a email address to send the cancellation email to which I did along with a secondary email asking for a NSF fee refund with a bank statement of the charge. I called Sept 4th, and wanted a update since I have been getting payment due notification emails and got asked to make a payment first, which then led me to explaining I don't have any merchandise and no payment will be made. After a 20 min hold, I got told to wait another 5 days for their dept to verify everything

      This complaint is being filed as a precautionary measure to help satisfy a Privacy request made to Prog Services, *** (Money App) under the California Consumer Privacy Act. Ive come across this app offering **** Advances to pay back at a later date. Entered my personal information and was unable to continue with the process. Because of this, I am no longer interested in this app and am looking to have my data restricted from sharing/selling, limit the use/disclosure, as well as delete any data not required to keep under applicable law. Money App or Prog Services, *** has so far not responded to any contact attempts. This complaint is being filed prior to filing a complaint with the ******************************** Thank you.

      Hi - I purchased an item on lease at Best Buy on 8/20 and it was returned to the store on 8/26. Agent at Progressive would not refund my initial down payment on the item even though it was a returned item. Claiming, it was beyond 5 days. This is no “loss” to Progressive. They are ripping people off by keeping their down payment on a product the customer returned. Even though it was only $20.76, it’s an unethical practice to keep people’s hard earned money for an item the consumer returned!

      I ordered a bed matress from Raymour and ******** early September and financed through Progessive Lending, I was told to pay $1.00 , but I checked my bank statement and $1,096.26 was cashed as well without my authorization. I contacted Progressive lending and made them aware, I also contacted ******* and ********, they were not very helpful, I called my bank and thay stated they would have to shut down my bank account to investigate, I could not afford to do this I have bills to pay and this would mar my account I was also charged a few late fees since bills had cleared because there was not enough money to cover.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is partly satisfactory to me. There were two late fees attached to bills not cashed because when the comp took over 1000 from my account I was shot. This amts to ***** and I expect a reimbursement for this asap

      I paid this account off on June 28tth. I never heard from progressive leasing. On Sept third they tried to make two withdrawals 1- 395.79 / 2-427.11. So I called them and I was told they reopened the account and started the loan over with late fees showing. I asked why no one notified me I asked for something in writing they declined to do so. I was told the account will stay opened and fees will be added I logged in to the account and was told I owe payments for July to current date. The pay off Back in June was made over the phone with there rep they calculated the pay off fee I paid. I attached a bank statement.
