There is an “AAMCO Transmission and Total car care” located at 18420 State Hwy 3, Webster, TX 77598, (281) 338-1886. I had them work on my 2015 Nissan Altima transmission on Monday, April 10, 2023, and they (Gary) promised to get the work completed by that Friday of the same week. A whole month has passed, with the same excuses about when the car will get done, "We will find out more this afternoon", or "It will get done by Friday this week". I called on Monday morning May 8, 2013, and Gary says the vehicle needs two final test drives and will be ready to go in a couple of hours. I waited till 1:00 PM and made my way to get the car. When I got there, he gave me the same excuse, that it was not ready. So, I went back outside and looked for a mechanic and asked them what was going on with the car, because for some reason Gary refuses to give any details of the service. And so, the mechanic says that the transmission is not even in the car. Then the mechanic goes into the office and has some words with Gary. My ex-wife erupts when I tell her what the mechanic had said and goes into the office where Gary is and asks what was going on. Gary told her that they had to drop the transmission again because something was wrong and told her it would be done by the end of the week on Friday. At this point in time, I am really frustrated because I need my car to make money and pay bills. It has been a whole month since I have any sort of income coming in. I have no food money and bills are amassing out of control. I was wondering if someone could help me find a solution or if I could simply call a wrecker to pick up my car and send it to another Transmission shop? Any active solution's help is needed, please and thank you.
