    Panels installed by Alternative Solar company are not working. I tried contacting the company through which we got the panels to have someone to come look at our equipment. They did say two people were going to contact me, but have not had anyone come by. This has been an ongoing issue.

    On 9/29/2021 I had solar panels installed by alternative solar . They did not install them on the time they promised. Then when they installed the panels they made a whole through my new roof which then had water damage leak through the ceiling. The panels were not working from may to sept. The amount of electric I have to pay is significantly higher and Im still paying for the loan. Currently my panels are not producing energy and I have had problems since day one . I have complained to goodleap which is the lender, I cant pay them and the electric bill due to it being 3-4 times higher than ever. The panels dont produce as much as they promised . They began to charge me for the panels without them being installed as well.

    I signed a contract with Alternative Solar on 9/17/2021 for 22 solar panels 7.92Kw DC system size with the understanding that I would use 93% from solar and 7% from utilities as well as a solar bill of $105.52 and utility bill of $3-35 depending on the months. Since the system was completed in Dec 2021 I have NEVER produced enough to cover even half of my monthly electric bill. My electric bill has been anywhere from $125-$310 based on usage of 1150kw-2100kw, which my solar panel system is supposed to be able to produce. This has left me with a combined solar and utility bill of $270-$450. I've had numerous conversations with Alternative Solar about the production and all they could recommend was adding more panels for an additional expense. In April 2023 I then tried to contact Alternative Solar due to needing my roof replaced and was informed they are no longer in business. So now I am stuck with panels that hardly produce, a loan/electric payment that I can barely afford, and a roof that is well past the point of needing to be replaced, but no solar company to assist with any of it. At this point I would prefer to just have the panels removed all together. I also called Dividend Solar the finance company for assistance and was told I needed to speak to the panel manufacturer and there was nothing they could do to assist me since they were just the loan provider.

    AlternativeSolar LLC went out of business late last year (2022). Our solar panels were installed and connected, however, the vendor can no longer provide the ongoing services outlined in the contract. This includes solar panel maintenance and repair, monitoring services, insulation instal, etc. I am still paying for the services through my loan with Dividend Finance. Many other individuals have also been affected: *********************************************************************************** no longer responds to emails or phone calls.

    Alternative solar installed a new roof and 34 panels of solar on my home in June of 2022. Still till today my solar have not been Connected. The company has gone bankrupt in mid February. I have been paying the monthly payments since Aug. Of 2022. What are my options? I am struggling to pay the electric bill which is well over $400 a month and $225 for the solar and roof to the lending company

    Scammed by alternative solar. Panels installed 2021. I am paying $171 a month soon to double to $342. Panels not connected and operating. No help from alternative solar or the Representative

    Contract proposal stated that the solar panels would cover 91% of my current electricity usages based on prior year numbers. **** KW were used in the prior year total however the panels will only produce about 2400KW for the year which is about 56% of prior usage. I know the usage varies year to year but as a whole we have use very little this year over last year yet we are stuck with more of a payment between the solar panel payment and utility company payment. I have paid $660 more the prior 11 months when I combine both payments compared to prior year only paying CPS Energy bill...Again with very similar usage!!!Owner finally sent me an email after numerous attempts since July of *********************************************************************** September of 2022 they say they added 6 panels that would get the system up to the promised output however I was still skeptical. It stated that he would reimburse me if the panels did not cover what he said they would cover after the one year anniversary on April 13th 2023. This was in December, and he had to have known he was filing for bankruptcy in January. To me this is just alright fraud!!!Contract was for $86,780.00 - Less IRS Rebate of 26%How much did you actually pay? $86,780.00 I have also have spoken to Moster Craft PC out of ******* ** for legal counsel but have not signed as of yet as they want a $1,500 retainer. They stated that they can go after Good Leap but have not had as much luck going after them as they have with other load companies.What action was taken by this agency or attorney?Since the Alternative Solar is bankrupt, they are willing to contact Good Leap ($1,500 retainer) to try and cancel the contract however I just want the panels to produce what the contract promised. I have also filed a complaint with the ***********************

    I put the solar panels on my house they were having trouble getting it together now that center point finally approved it. They out of business and my panels have not been connected so now Im paying for panels that or not even on plus a light bill. I wanted to save money now Im spending double.

    In June of 2022 I had roof repair due to hail damage and I needed Alternative Solar were initial the company that put my solar panels in, so I contacted them to remove and replace them thru my insurance company. Once they came and removed them, I called to have them put back on and could never reach them and once I did spoke with some, I would be given an appointment, but no one would show up. Finally, I got them out to put them back on the roof, but they never fully installed them they said parts were missing and had to order them that was around the end of July beginning of August. I waited and called every week for an update and given more appointment dates with no one showing up. The last appointment I was given was December 5th, 2022, and no one came and now their web page states the have closed their doors and this is the statement given:(Due to an unforeseen situation we had to close the doors and we are no longer operating.if there is anyone feeling they were wronged we will in some form or fashion continue to try to rectify it!!A true, and sincere apology is given for the inconvenience that any and everyone is having as while doing business this is and never was the plan we had.)I am not sure what I can do I have wires hanging from my roof and I am not totally sure if they damaged my roof after my roof repair. I would appreciate any help to this situation. Thank you

    We contracted with Alternative Solar in or around September of 2022 to install solar panels on our home to produce an agreed upon amount of energy. 5 months later our system is still not fully installed. They have not fulfilled any of their obligations as contracted and that we have paid for. We currently are paying 10's-of-thousands of dollars for panels that are simply sitting on our roof and are not hooked up. I've been told weekly since November, that "next week" our project will be completed, and we will be live to produce power. But as of yet we are not producing any power, not offsetting any of our power bill, but still paying for these panels that are useless. We would like help to have the company deliver on their promises to us and complete their contractual obligations. Its clear that Alternative Solar seeks to quickly install panels to get a check written from Good Leap (or whatever entity pays their cost), then has no real concern for the customer who take out a loan of Tens-of-Thousands of dollars to buy into the dream of energy production that their company has to eloquently scripted your salesman with.
