i was referred to ***************************, ** by my specialist. Upon checking in was told I had to pay deductible. I let ****** know that I have two insurances Primary BCBS and Second is ********* ****** said Airrosti only ****s primary and up to me to file with my secondary insurance. I have never had to **** ******** and would have no idea how that is done. At that point I was very flustered and think this business is a fraud. I sent an email to ******* Services to voice a complaint on the *********** Office not trying to work with a patient. I sent an email to *************************** to voice my displeasure. ****** responded back; medical offices are not legally required to **** secondary insurance. sent This business should not be allowed to practice medical services. I don't recommend this business to anyone and tell you to run and stay away.

AIRROSTI told me that they are in network with ********** Blue Shield at the time I booked my appointments. After three appointments at $280 apiece, they tell me that my insurance will not pay for their treatments for the reason that they are performed by chiropractors and not physical therapists. I followed up with BCBS who says that that they WILL cover the charges and I will only be out $25 per visit. AIRROSTI refuses to file claims in my behalf and are insisting I pay them $280 per visit even though their rep said they would file claims on my behalf. AIRROSTI is now asking for a three way call with my insurance company which is redundant and a waste of my time since BCBS already sent me a letter stating AIRROSTI centers are in network and BCBS will pay for my treatments. I will never do business with AIRROSTI again. I recommend anyone wanting their treatments to take what they tell you with a grain of salt because in my opinion, they bait and switch.

Thank you for allowing us to research this matter and we sincerely apologize for any miscommunication regarding the insurance claim. We pride ourselves on our patient experience and doing what is right. The claims department did not immediately file the claim with BCBS of ************, as we wanted to take part in a 3-way call to further explain the claims history of BCBS-PA. We left a VM on 10/7, then messaged the patient in our Patient Portal on 10/14 to indicate we would bill her insurance and she sent a thank you on 10/18 for doing this. On 10/20 the patient contacted us with the options BCBS-** had offered her. We replied on 10/25 with the hopes of getting on a 3-way call to reassure her we had submitted the insurance claim. We then received notice of the BBB submission on 10/25. The claim has been submitted and we are currently waiting for it to be processed. Although there is a chance your claims could be denied by your carrier, we will ensure you receive timely communication and do everything in our power to make the situation right. We are committed to ensuring you have a quality patient experience and this matter gets resolved as soon as possible. Thank you,Airrostis **************************

After claims were finally submitted, my insurance approved and paid them on 10/26/22. My copay was $25 as I told AIRROSTI all along. They owe me $49 for the overpayment they forced on me. I am happy this is over but a lot of time was wasted due to their refusal to file timely claims.
