We purchased this deal for 20 ribeye's for $39 then upgraded to a larger package of $176 which included several other boxes of steaks. The salesman showed my husband a nice thick steak for a sample. Upon opening the boxes this weekend we found that NONE of the steaks were thick like he showed us. They were all paper thin and tough like show leather. This place is a total scam. I want all my money back. They have not responded to my contact us letter but I fully plan on sending another letter to the state and to anyone else I can.Customer Answer

I stopped by my local tractor supply yesterday April 17th, 2024. I saw a truck set up and advertisement for juicy steak and other meats. I was really excited to try it, but I got home and cooked the ribeye steaks for dinner for our family of 7 and they were very thin and so rubbery we couldn't eat them. I would be happy to return all that I bought to the seller. I would just like a refund. I am very sad that I wasted my money on this. I bought the large pack of everything for $404.Business Response

I purchased several boxes of various cuts of meat from Backyard Butchers when they were in ***************. Other than the chopped sirloin, all cuts of meat were terrible-full of tendons and connective tissue. These cuts include boneless ribeye, NY strip, and ********* ribeye. We recently purchased a large amount of backyard butcher. meat from a truck parked by Tractor Supply. Unfortunately, I didn't read the complaints first as these are the same that we have.: No taste, funny chemical smell, red food coloring, lack of taste, and TOUGH meat. March 18th, ************************************. I bought what was promoted as a juicy tender meat usda grade beef from grain fed cattle in *****. This meat is the absolute worst I have ever bought. The lower priced .Mexican beef is far better than this c*** The steaks I cooked were so tuff my teeth hurt trying to chew. So tuff that I had to use my skinning knife to cut them. I bought one of the 20 minute marinade bags and let them soak for 2 hours. They still had no flavor and were that tuff. The meat had an off smell to them and even when cooked to medium with a little Red, the texture was off. They did not even cook evenly. I was as if they injected with something them to give a fake appearance. I was scammed out of my money and time. I would like a refund of the $150 I invested and will be more than happy to take this c*** back to the location I got it from, MINUS the 2 pepper and 1 ribeye. If not I will show up where they are set up and legally assemble close by with signs and a speaker that this is a scam and to stay away. I may even take my grill and have samples for everyone close by. And I am dead serious.Business Response

Much like the other responses I SHOULD HAVE READ BEFORE PURCHASING. Its almost the exact same as someone else posted. I went to inquire about their 20 prime ribeye steaks for $39 but after him haggling me my husband and I reluctantly bought their steak variety pack for $100.. which he told me not to advertise but.. that should have been a key sign LOL.. Then the salesman told me he works off tips, so I put $10 on there. Once I got home and cooked 2 of the ribeyes, I couldnt even cut it nor chew it.. I thawed out some of the ground meat patties and they smelled absolutely terrible I couldnt even try and taste it. $100 of meat and its all bad. This company needs to be SHUT DOWN.Business Response

2/12/24 purchased a package total cost $207. Was told this was prime cut quality meat. Tried the thin cut ****** rib for steak sandwiches- meat tasted funny and was tough. Tried 2 different cuts and again tough and portions were not edible. Salesperson went on about the quality of meat.
