    Transaction was on 6/6/25 in ******, *******. I stopped at their truck in the ***** parking lot to purchase steaks. After a very long wait, and some very aggressive upsell action, I ended up purchasing two "Turf and Turf" boxes of steaks, paying $489 and they threw in 20 ribeye steaks for free. The ribeye steaks are about a quarter of an inch thick, so they are a bit of a joke, useful only for breakfast steaks or something. Flavor is ok, but the texture is grainy. I tried 2 cuts of beef from the Turf and Turf boxes, the peppered sirloin and the new york cuts. Both were awful, super chewy, with large amounts of inedible sinew in every bite, and again very grainy meat. This is the worst meat I've ever had. I emailed the company yesterday for a return/refund.

    I was at tractor supply and love a good steak and I got sick from the steak and they were advertised as quality steaks and are tiny the hamburger was 2 different colors its disgusting

    After reading these reviews I took a better look at the steaks and they look and smell terrible. I nor my wife will take the chance of getting sick, at our age we cannot take the chance.I would hope you would do the right thing and return our money.

    Hello,I bought steaks from backyard butchers on 6/22/25. I was told the ribeyes would be 5lbs each. They are paper thin and turn gray when cooked. The steaks are inedible. They lied in their advertising and sucked me into paying $160 for a box of steaks and some ribeyes that are all inedible due to it being discolored. They never let me see what the meat looked like before buying. I would like a refund as I will never be buying from them again. They are scammers.

    I went to one of your trucks to check out the deal for 20 ribeyes for 39 dollars. Ended up getting upsold two more cases of meat because face it, the guy was pretty good and I guess I choose to have faith in people. Ended up paying 479 dollars all said. I got the product home and it's suspiciously thin and doesn't look like the advertised cuts. After this occuring I'm looking at all over the internet and there are TONS of complaints about poor quality meat and getting sick from it. Many people say they're super sinewy and tough and might even be meat glued together from scrap. I also noticed that their website is very vague and not very transparent on their sourcing. I believe it says something like, "From farms across *****." Disgusted and don't even want to try them and the last time I put faith in a company I don't know. Hopefully there's a way for a refund.

    I stopped and bought a $489.00 package of steaks and fish from this company.. I was using half my food budget for month figuring I get a months dinner with other meats to break up .. we all done it.i been in constant contact with company.all I am hearing now we sent over your request and get in touch shortly,after I asked for a refund yesterday 5/14/25. I am getting run around nobody has this money to waste.they never gave me any account number or tracking number

    My husband and I love Ribeyes of good quality and frequent Steak houses to have a greet steak. We decided to stop and see what these Ribeyes were all about. It was outside Tractor Supply in ************, April 19th. The young man persuaded us to spend over $300. We cooked a very thin Ribeye and Strip steak. It was terrible. It made me sick. This is terrible business. It is made to look like its great quality and you are getting a lot. It will be a long time before I can even eat steak again. We would like refund so we do not get sick again.

    On 2-19-2025, I spent $350.94 on several boxes of steak and chicken. The steak is like tearing trying to cut through a piece of leather, thin, hard to chew. The chicken and steak both look and feel slimey out of the package. I thought maybe it was just the first one or two I ate. After eating, I was in the bathroom not but 10 minutes after. I feel for the sales *** when I pulled up to the parking lot. You can tell he was just trying to get paid but I fell for it. I thought what a great deal. I sincerely regret that and the money I spent.

    03/16/2025, I paid ******. I was upsold 2 boxes of meat. It looked decent with the first box he had shown us but the meat is absolutely terrible. Its like chewing leather, Also the second box that was sold to us. The meat is old! The color isnt even the same at all as compared to the first box. Its only been a day since I purchased the meat and would love a full refund. I would be more than happy to return anything unpackaged meat. I was okay with the meat being thin but its an absolute no for me when the meat is brown. I have reached out through their website to get a refund. Hopefully I will hear back. If you can see in the photo provided. The meat to the left looks fresher. That was the box shown to us originally. When we got home and opened the other box, the meat to the left of the photo was the old meat that was also sold to us.
