    Our 2015 Passat started to act erratically. We would see lights going on the dash for no reason. Then the buttons on the steering wheel would not function nor would the horn.We called Seymours Garage on 2/18. **** answered & said we could bring the car in that a.m. We took the car in & explained everything occurring: steering wheel buttons not working, lights appearing on the dash, & the horn out. No more communication Friday.2/21 we call at 8am. They have still not had a chance to look at the car. We were promised a call before lunch. Called again & were directed to ******* who was working with an expert. No more calls Mon. 2/22 ******* is focused on alignment and a new battery, ranging up to $275. Wed comes & we call, no return call. So, we called again around 3pm. ******* assured me that the car would be ready early on Thurs. We call Thurs since lunch time had come & gone. We call and are told ******* will call us back. He does & shares that the car was ready. He not we selected the $275 battery w/o our auth, completed the alignment for ~$680. We waited 4.5 biz days this. Also, Seymours put 60 miles on the car, stating it was for diagnostic purposes; seem VERY excessive. ******* did mention there could be a clock spring issue & that would run us $625-$650. Car came ********* test it out. The steering wheel ************** were not working, airbag light was still on. We were given back a broken car that we paid $680 for. We called back & told **** car still broken. He said my bad; I forgot to notate the steering wheel issue. **** said he couldnt take the car until sometime in Mar.Were not mechanics but ****** is full of VW forums. All of which say the symptoms we were experiencing were classic clock spring issues. We called dealership, they got us in next day & right away said its 90% likely a clock spring issue THAT IS COVERED BY WARRANTY!
