  Cactus did our fence when we moved into our house in 2022. We thought their estimate was very reasonable and the sales lady worked hard for our job. The guys came out and did a beautiful job. We live on an acre and had a privacy fence on the sides (6 ft) and country fence (5 ft) in the back. We have a double gate on one side and a single gate on another. Within that first year, our cheaply done gates rusted and would not close properly. They were worked on multiple times. We have a stick holding the double gate closed. They claim to do designer gates, but use cheap, skinny metal across the wood they spray paint (but it still rusts). I wanted a strong wooden gate that does not open when the wind blows. Hurricane Beryl came in and bowed the fence almost to a 45 degree angle on one side, partly on the other and it came away from the house on one part. We called another company who had excellent reviews and would do repairs (since the fence is still recent). You can see the footings in every single (too small to handle to job post)- they are tiny cement footings that the CAUSE of the fence bowing. We cannot afford to replace the whole thing, so luckily this company is honest and does it right and told me how to make it better without breaking our bank. They will only redo 25 footings and our double gate. The frustrating thing is he told me how they do fences to compare and showed me how shoddy this work was that was done. Showed me how they put their wood and how eventually it will all bow and sag. Nothing is secure or done right. They clearly have no pride in their work or don’t know better. Our fence was beautiful but has not been stable or durable. I wish I had found this other company before Cactus. Apparently I am one of many people in my neighborhood who have called this other company to come and fix Cactus’ work. I hate to leave a bad review but please don’t get a fence from them.

  Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the issues with your fence, particularly after your last email in 2022 confirming that everything was perfect. Since that time, we have not received any communication from you regarding further concerns until this review.
  
  Our warranty covers one year from the date of installation. The recent hurricane in 2024, a natural disaster, is unfortunately beyond the scope of our warranty. However, had we received any communication by phone or email about the damage, we would have been more than willing to assess the situation and provide assistance.
