• Advertising Review:

  BBB promotes truth in advertising by contacting advertisers whose claims conflict with the BBB Code of Advertising. These claims come to our attention from our internal review of advertising, consumer complaints, and competitor challenges.  BBB asks advertisers to prove their claims, change ads to make offers clearer to consumers, and remove misleading or deceptive statements.  

  On July 31, 2023 BBB contacted Clear Path Financial Training, LLC regarding advertised claims on their website https://clearpathfinancialtraining.com/ and on https://www.franchiseopportunities.com/franchise/clear-path-financial-training and https://www.franchisehelp.com/franchises/clear-path-financial-training/. Advertised claims:

  Business practices.  BBB, a public reporting entity, continually reviews and updates company records in an effort to ensure truthful information is reported. When BBB lacks a clear understanding of a company and how it operates, we give a high priority to reaching out to a company in an effort to gather facts and details, such as a full description of the services the company provides, including, if any, necessary licensure. BBB requested Clear Path Financial Training, LLC to provide a full description of their business model. As of August 31, 2023 Clear Path Financial Training, LLC has not responded to BBB's request.

  Lowest prices, underselling claims.  BBB Code of Advertising states, despite an advertiser's best efforts to ascertain competitive prices, the rapidity with which prices fluctuate and the difficulty of determining prices of all sellers at all times precludes an absolute knowledge of the truth of unqualified underselling/lowest price claims. Advertisers must have proper substantiation for all claims prior to dissemination. Unqualified underselling claims must be avoided. 

  Claimed results. BBB Code of Advertising states, claims related to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy, or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.

  Testimonials. BBB Code of Advertising states, in general, advertising which uses testimonials or endorsements is likely to mislead or confuse if it is not genuine and does not actually represent the current opinion of the endorser.  Advertising which uses testimonials or endorsements is likely to mislead or confuse if a consumer's experience represented in an advertisement is not the typical experience of those using the product or service unless the advertisement clearly and conspicuously discloses what the expected results will be.  

  BBB requested Clear Path Financial Training, LLC to provide substantiation for their claims.  As of August 31, 2023 Clear Path Financial Training, LLC failed to respond to BBB's request to substantiate or discontinue the advertised claims.
