********************************************************************************************************************* Im writing to file a formal complaint regarding an extremely upsetting experience I had at Raising Canes location 972 on July 19, 2025, at around 5:30 PM. I ordered one Box Combo (sub coleslaw for bread) and one 3-Finger Combo. I specifically asked the cashier to substitute the bread in the 3-Finger Combo for an extra Canes sauce. I even double-checked with her to confirm. When I received my food and opened the box, I saw that the fries were removed instead of the bread.I went back to the counter and politely explained that I had asked to sub the bread, not the fries. The cashier immediately gave me a condescending look and said, No, you asked to sub the fries. I was clear about my order and confirmed it with her. Rather than fixing the mistake, she kept arguing and tried to make it seem like it was my fault.She rolled her eyes, let out a sigh, and grabbed a box from the counter. She opened it, looked inside, and still handed it to me even though it clearly had bread in it. I honestly have to question whether she even knows the difference between bread and fries or if she was just being *****.When I pointed it out again, she rolled her eyes and finally gave me the correct item. The entire interaction felt dismissive and racially charged. As an Asian customer, I couldn't help but feel I was being treated differently. She looked me up and down during the conversation and made me feel like I wasnt worth listening to.This wasnt just a simple mistake it was poor service, condescending behavior, and what felt like discrimination. I expect to be contacted by someone from your team and want to know how this employee is being held accountable. I also want to know what steps youre taking to prevent this kind of treatment from happening to other customers.Although I dont have the order number, Im sure your team can verify the transaction based on the time, date, and location Ive provided.Business Response

I went to canes on 6/23 ordered a ****** and a four finger box received chicken that was not fresh , so small and then the wrong sides. I have been buying canes since they opened the prices have continues to rise and the quality of service has continued to decrease!!!! I am writing to formally express my concern regarding a recurring issue at Store #***, specifically involving the drive-thru service.This is the second time I have experienced my vehicle being skipped in the drive-thru line, while the vehicle behind me was served first. I am absolutely disgusted with the service and food quality at Raising Canes in *******, **. I ordered the 75-piece Tailgate Chicken combo along with around 20 toasts specifically requested *** style (buttered on both sides). Not only did they completely ignore my request for *** style toast, but the chicken was clearly undercooked, rushed, and falling apart. The breading was literally sliding off the meat. It was obvious they didnt take the time to prepare it properly.This wasnt just any order this was for my daughters birthday party in *******. We drove over two hours from ******, ******** to have the celebration, and instead we were served raw, unsafe food by a staff that couldnt care less. They were rude, dismissive, and didnt even apologize or offer to fix anything.Because of the distance and the timing of the party, I couldnt just turn around and bring the food back not that I should have had to. Several of us ended up feeling nauseous and sick after eating the chicken. It completely ruined the day.Raising Canes should be ashamed. I waited to 25 minutes just to get told they couldnt find my mobile app order. The guy then felt sorry and gave me a number to contact the phone support I was told a lady put in a refund request so I called back to make sure they said she didnt put one in. To Whom It May Concern,Im writing to report an unacceptable experience at your location on May 2, 2025, at 6:19 PM through the drive-thru. Im a regular (13 times a week) and have never had an issueuntil now.I ordered a large ****** asked to upgrade, and confirmed I was okay paying extra. Instead of a simple correction, I was met with attitude and unnecessary aggression by the employee wearing a black outfit at the window (listed cashier: ******).Though the line was short, she tried to rush me to a pickup spoteven though the food was nearly readyand acted annoyed when I requested extra crispy chicken. Then I was handed the wrong drink (sweet tea, which I never drink).I circled back and politely told a staff member outside I was given the wrong drink and would wait in a pickup spot. Instead, I was told to go through the line again, despite their mistake. At the window again, the same employee argued with me over the drink and insisted I pay for another. Shockingly, no manager stepped in to ************** avoid more conflict, I paid for a second drink. But the entire situation felt personal and microaggressive. As a Black woman dressed casually (I work from home), I felt profiled and provokedlike she wanted a reaction. I stayed calm, but the behavior was toxic and unprofessional.I also got sick after eating the food and no longer feel safe returning to this location. On 05May2025, I went into Raising Cane's to place an order for a Box Combo to eat inside their dining floor. They had their security guard standing behind me while I was in line trying to place an order. Then after I place my order, the security guard then walks over to me at the table I was sitting down at asking me if I placed an order. Then what the security guard does is tell me that I need to leave the dining floor due to me having shopping bags and that I can't have outside food or drink being brought into a restaurant. That would be what the point of having bags is to keep any outside food put away. You got to understand the reason I had those shopping bags is that was my stuff that I've been carrying around for the day. I just got off work for a ten hour shift, then would walk down ********** with my stuff to go visit Raising Cane's. That's what made it realistic for me to do business with Raising Cane's is for me to take my stuff into Raising Cane's. I can't agree to come into the dining floor without my own belongings; if they really are not willing to leave me alone about me having my stuff, then I can't do business with them any more in the future, because that's not a rule that works for me. I have also decided to request a full refund for the order, and if I don't get that, I will dispute the charge with the issuer of my MasterCard. From a customer perspective, the fact that I was told that I would have to leave compromised the service that I was paying for. What I did was ask for a to go package. I looked outside the window, and there weren't even any tables outside. I had no where to go to comfortably sit and eat the meal, so what I resorted to was throwing the whole order away and go somewhere else to eat. This whole thing is absolutely dissatisfactory, and without the business issuing me a refund, I would be quite curious to know what my bank would say about this when I go and dispute it.Business Response
