I am up-to-date on all payments. Rent-A-Center stopped accepting payments after an employee came into my home and damaged my wall while servicing equipment. I was set up on auto draft payments. They promised to return the next day to repair the damage but never did fix when they showed up with a five-day notice They continue to call and harass me after I told them to stop. One representative said he would keep calling and drive onto private reservation land (45 miles) every weekend, accusing me of stealing. They also mentioned we are stealing from their employee bonus. I know my rights as a consumer and this is not right. They also refuse to send me receipts of payment or a copy of the agreement. Ive requested this multiple times. A voicemail confirms they acknowledged causing the damage, yet they still wont accept paymentleaving me in an unfair and retaliatory situation.I request the BBB investigate Rent-A-Centers conduct as deceptive, harassing, and retaliatory, and require them to cease contact and consider the balance paid in full. I have proof of damages and voicemails.I request the following:1.That Rent-A-Center be investigated for deceptive and retaliatory behavior,2.That they be prohibited from any further contact, in person or by phone,3.That the matter be considered resolved and the balance forgiven, given their misconduct, and failure to repair damages, soliciting private property on native land (sovereign nation). Living on a reservation, Rent-A-Center has no jurisdiction to continue this harassment. Under A.R.S. 44-6806(E) and relevant Arizona law, I demand they immediately stop all further harassment, unauthorized visits to my residence, and collection calls. If this is not resolved, I will file with the Arizona Attorney General.

Rent a center has been harassing me by calling back to back repeatedly every single day. On July 14th the manager of the Bainbridge store that she would continue harassing me words out of her mouth- play recording for quality review. I advised there are rules and laws and policies for alleged debt collectors and to communicate another method, she refused and immediately called back. She is not fit for management

I am rejecting this response because:   Rent a center is a franchise in ********** not the corporate office, and  is  therefore acting as third party collector. The subject matter is the harassment by continuous calls back to back.  The manager advised they can call twice in a day. I advised cease communication by phone and by mail only, I have invoked my right to determine how I would like to be contacted. That has been violated according to Georgia Fair Business Practices Act. the designated person for resolution was not very helpful in regards to my best interest or good faith resolutions to the harassment even with evidence of wrongdoing

I was a day late for my payment and instead of calling me they showed up at my house to tell me I was late. They blocked my driveway so I couldnt leave for over 20 mins. I told them I could pay on Monday which is less than a week overdue and they said that would be fine and then the next day theyre banging on my door so hard it sounded like the glass was going to shatter. I wasnt home at the time I was watching from my outdoor camera. Day two comes around and they unplug and damage my outdoor camera, move stuff around on my porch (which you can hear from the indoor cameras) and they start pounding on my windows. Then they open my front door and step into my home (which is caught on my indoor camera since they damaged my outdoor camera) this was today (07/12/25), yesterday (07/11/25) and the original day that I told them I could pay on Monday and they said it was fine was Thursday (07/10/25)

In October, I opened an account with ********************** to purchase a memory foam mattress. Before my first payment, my husband added a king-size bedroom set to the account and paid $140 using his debit card. Both items were scheduled for delivery on December 13. The mattress was delivered, but the bedroom set was not. We were told the hardware was missing, despite it being brand new in the box.Over the next several weeks, we were given multiple excuses about why the bedroom set couldnt be delivered. We later found out that this bedroom set doesnt even come in king size, so it was never actually available.Due to the delays and misrepresentation, we decided to cancel the account and returned the mattress. I did not ask for a refund for the mattress since it was delivered. However, we have been trying for months to receive a refund of the $140 paid for the bedroom set that we never received.Despite several store visits, phone calls, and discussions with two different managers, we were constantly given excuses or ignored. I was even told to use the amount as store credit, which I declined. We are simply asking for a refund of the $140 for the item we never received. We feel misled and mistreated and hope this issue can be resolved promptly.

So I had paid off my washer and it went bad. I have benefits plus on it and no technician came out to fix it so I had to start a whole new agreement for another one. When they delivered the new one the worker did not take the old one to get fixed which he was supposed to. Now the one they brought me doesn't work either the sensory is bad. They are not trying to bring me a replacement yet charge me brand new price for the one that doesn't work. I have 7 kids and haven't been able to do clothes in over 2 weeks and they aren't trying to do anything

I signed an agreement with rent a center but was lied to and mislead by the sales associate. I made all payments early or on time and when I was supposed to make the final payment of the 6 months same as cash contract suddenly the guidelines changed that I was due to make way more payments. I've done alot of research and apparently this is a common issue with this company. I was to pay off the item in 6 months for same as cash price. I said so if I make all my payments on time in full I'll be paid off in 6 months and its mine, she said yes or you can choose to pay it off early. Well they set it up where my payments were short of the 6 month goal and pretended they didn't say that. If that was true why would I make all my payments on time and early then just decide not to pay. I want my payments back in exchange for the property.
