We purchased a brand new 2025 Texas Pride Roll-Off Trailer. From the moment they dropped it off it has been a serious case of buyers regret!!! Anything that could go wrong has. Nearly every weld on the trailer is braking. We are coming out of pocket to pay to have the insufficient welds redone. The motor and pump were not bolted down. The oil drain whole for filter was drilled in the wrong spot. Hydraulic leaks from several hoses and some where on the valve body. Only 1 trailer brake works, had to replace the lobar remote already. Had to repair the wiring on the motor starter as it was actively shorting out because it came out of it's crimp connector. Their paint is thinned down so much that it had rust the day it was dropped off. The slide for the reeving cylinder is coming up crooked. Tarping system arm was hanging on by a prayer due weld not penetrating. Lug nut was missing when we got it, the lug nut was under the tilt deck. Reeving cable was too long not allowing the dumpster to lock in to the lock pins on the trailer. Terrifying someone drove it back from Texas with three dumpsters not secured. Any weld longer than 6 inches has broken. Quality is so poor there was multiple stingers left sticking out that my employee got cut on from there welding tip. I want either a new trailer or SERIOUS COMPENSATION! I ordered a complete working trailer but what I got is something I have to constantly pay my crew to fix. The only consistency we have gotten is the down time and poor quality. Nothing says quality control like a goose neck that the entire tongue is coming off. PICTURES, VIDEOS AND A QUOTE WERE SENT TO TEXAS PRIDE. SINCE THEM EVEN MORE STUFF HAS BROKEN!!!!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Texas Price equipment is nothing but poor quality. someone is going to get killed using their equipment. A trailer with out working brakes should not leave your facility, The representative today took little to no accountability for the problems. We bought a very expensive piece of equipment that meets virtually ones quality control or safety standards. Hydraulic pumps not mounted to the trailer, leaks everywhere. Every other weld on the trailer is broken. This is beyond a warranty issue the whole trailer is a lemon. Each weld needs gone through and made sure to be done correctly. There are instance's on this trailer where paint was welder over and gaps more then 3/8" were tried to be filled with weld instead of recutting, and making it properly. today we notice yet another weld broken simply because they cut a several inch hole in the side of a structural piece of steel to run their wiring it. Texas pride sacrificed the integrity of the trailer and the safety of it's users by cutting corners like this. This needs to be rectified. Driving the trailer to Texas three times a week for all the things that we find wrong on the weekly is not acceptable.

Mr. ***************** purchase of your trailer you were provided a link to the Texas Pride Trailer Owners Manual. That manual contains the Limited Warranty Policy for your trailer and this policy outlines the process to which you have 30 days past the purchase date of your trailer to register your trailer for any further warranty considerations. To date we can find no record of you having registered your trailer with the ******************** however in an effort to assist you with the issues you were experiencing we sent replacement parts necessary for the power unit and for the parts you were needing for your containers. You were instructed at that time that the Warranty Policy clearly states under Remedies: Item 3; It is the purchasers responsibility to return trailer to TEXAS PRIDE TRAILERS at ************************************************ for any warranty considerations or repairs. No freight reimbursement is offered by TEXAS PRIDE or its dealers to return trailer to plant for warranty consideration. Again, in an effort to limit down time with your trailer you were given an option to repair the trailer yourself, bring the trailer back us so that we may conduct the repairs here or that you may take the trailer to a local repair shop for the necessary repairs. You were further instructed to provide an estimate of repairs for approval prior to any work being conducted.
You contacted your sales associate on 11/13/2024 requesting assistance regarding welds on your tarp support arms. The warranty associate reached out to you and requested additional photos of the damaged item and in the text message exchange you had with the warranty associate you were once again provided the same options to repair the trailer yourself, bring the trailer back us so that we may conduct the repairs here or that you may take the trailer to a local repair shop for the necessary repairs. You were also given instructions on the warranty reimbursement policy and steps needed for any reimbursements. There are no phone or text records indication any communication between you or the warranty department until you sent a text on 12/10/2024 containing an invoice for repairs. You were contacted by the warranty associate again in an effort to obtain photos of the damaged welds, the leaking hoses and the inoperable valve. You were instructed that we could not pay any invoice or consider reimbursement because you had not submitted any additional information prior to the work being conducted.
The process for warranty considerations is clear as is the warranty reimbursement policy. You have failed to meet the necessary steps for warranty considerations to be made and reimbursements to be made to your company. The Texas Pride ******************* has stepped outside of the limitations stated in the Limited Warranty to try and assist you in the issues you have experienced but you have yet to provide adequate information, necessary evidence or follow the proper steps in a timely manner.
It is always our contention to try and assist customers with any issue they are experiencing, and we take exceptional efforts in providing everything necessary to ensure that you have everything that you would need to have a fully functional trailer at all times. In the conversation I personally had with ******* ******** on 4/15/2025, he was instructed to send all pertinent information, photos and anything pertaining to these issues directly to me so that I could personally review them. It is our contention at this time that you can reach out to me directly regarding these issues or you can return the trailer to our production facility located in ************ Texas to have necessary repairs conducted.

I am rejecting this response because: I am rejecting this response because: we are sending the other video's and pictures to the email provided today. Point here is we were sold a product that was not built well. It was delivered with out any quality control. Watch the longer video you will see the dumpsters weren't even on the trailer all the way. It was delivered from your facility in Texas all the way to ******** with the dumpsters not locked into the trailer! Does Texas pride not accept any accountability for these thing? Who installs the cables on the reeving cylinders? That guy endangered many peoples lives. Don't forget the trailer came with no safety hooks. I had to buy them my self as well. Lug nuts missing?Pony Motor and pump not bolted down? Oil filter hole cut in the wrong spot? 90%of the weld are cracking, have cracked and been redone or were just never done?Paint was thinned so much the trailer showed up with rust on it.. Before we ever even got it hooked to our truck the took box was already full of hydraulic oil. 3 of the 4 brakes do not work. You can't adjust any of the brakes because the design Texas pride has the leaf springs 1/2" from the backing plate on the brakes. Do I really need to go on? Texas pride was sent an a ton of pictures and video's going through BBB was the only way we got a real response. Texas pride should be paying for the thing that are wrong. Also I have all the documents that were dropped off with the trailer in a envelope and there is NOTHING that says anything about registering the trailer for warranty. Is this a way Texas pride is trying to get out of their responsibility for their equipment? I will send everything I have to the email.Let's see if something happens.

Just under 2 years after purchasing this gooseneck dump for 29k, EVERY hose on it is bubbling and/or leaking through the sheathing. Hydraulic oil all over the trailer and frame.As a matter of fact there's not even a psi rating on them , I'll assume they are definitely cheap ***** made hoses. **** knows what it'll run me to put all new hoses on this thing . Just want to put the word out and maybe help the next man not make the same mistake I did.Business Response

I met with ***** to look at purchasing a dump trailer. He showed me a trailer on the lot and stated that he did not have one on the lot and they would have to build it. I notified him that I did not have a place to park the trailer nor a place to live and I could not guarantee I would be able to take delivery if they built a trailer. He told me that was no problem as they make 150 trailer per week and could just sell it to someone else. I placed a deposit on the trailer of $500 and notified him again that I would attempt to find a place to put, but I could not guarantee I would take delivery. He agreed that was acceptable. I told him the next day (Sunday) not to build the trailer as it was not disclosed to me the type of dump trailer they were trying to sell me. Telescoping ***** He told me to come back on my way back ******* from ****** and we could talk about it. When I got to the dealership on Wednesday, they had the exact trailer I had ordered in stock and instead of letting me make a deposit on it, they told me they had to build one. Now I know that was done as an excuse to keep my $500 deposit. They then told me that trailer was sold by ***** on Monday, two days after I paid my deposit. I asked, in writing, several times for a refund and was refused.In addition, they advertise they will beat any other offer, yet I have found several trailers that have lower prices and better quality materials and they will not honor their advertisement.Business Response

I purchased from Texas Pride a 7' X 16' Gooseneck roll off trailer and 3 containers mid March 2022. I have had nothing but problems with the trailer. I have delt with the salesman and the warranty department regarding these issues. My frustration is this trailer is used for business, and the purchase was $48,000.00 for a brand new trailer and containers but the trailer doesn't work. 06/14/22 switch from US tarps malfunction causing support arm to brake, arm & switch replaced. I went to shop & replaced the parts because shop had not completed job yet. 06/27/22 the trailer would not winch up the box under load. Dropped the trailer off at **************************** for repairs. Repairs were made (unknown mechanical problem). Picked up trailer and quickly returned it because the bed system would not lower properly. The jacks would not raise the trailer. The winch would not work properly. Trailer was dropped off at shop for 2 hydrolic piston replacements per ****** at Texas Pride. Pistons were replaced and the trailer still would not function properly. Trailer was then delivered to RJ's trailers for repair. Currently waiting on the diagnostic results. I have driven with the trailer after picking it up during these repairs, and driven all day to go to pick up a container and it didn't work. I had to spend money stuck somewhere trying to figure out how to pick up the containers. It's cost me gas, time, money, customers because my brand new trailer doesn't work. I can't sell it because I can't sell a trailer that doesn't work. At this point I feel they sold me a bad product and should make it right. They should refund me the money or buy it back.I have done everything they have asked me to do. They obviously can't repair it because it still won't work. I think I have done my due diligence and expect them to do theirs. This is not what I wanted to do but, they leave me no choice at this point.
