My husband, **** ******* traded his truck in September 9, 2024. Auto smart was supposed to pay off the loan from the truck we traded in. Come to find out from the bank he had the loan with they never paid the loan off. Ive been in touch with them in person and by phone and they keep saying theyll take care of it and never do. I just received another message from the bank saying that the payment is now three months behind and a threat of repossession. Ive been on the phone with ********* and wrote to them. The right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing with that Bank. They still continue to contact me as if they dont know we are no longer owners to this vehicle and it will be 10 months tomorrow. My husband fica score is being destroyed by these people. I dont work. Im taking care of my elderly father and now I have to retain a lawyer that I cant afford. Im out of options and Im desperately trying to seek help from someone. One lawyer told me to contact BBB. And that you would be able to possibly help me. Im truly desperate. Thank you so much for being in the business to help others. Your truly for the underdogs like me. Thank you in advance for your time and Im looking forward to hearing back from you soon. Sincerely, ****** and **** *******.

We are unable to locate an account under Ms. ********* name. Would she be able to supply us with the vehicle's year, model, make and VIN and where she traded the vehicle? We are happy to look into this further as soon as we receive the information requested.

Bought a car in February from Autosmart. Not even two months of having it the transmission gave out. Called Autosmart because the car is under warranty and they towed it to their garage. Its been over a month and they havent done anything. We call constantly and no one will answer or return our calls. When someone does bother to call **, its always car will be done in a week. Dont know whats taking so long, well look into it. Nobody does anything. Yet we keep making our weekly payments for services and goods not rendered. Theyve had my car almost as long as I was able to drive it.

We sincerely regret the service ****************** received from our **************** department.  At the time ********************** vehicle needed repairs, our service department's technician was on vacation. ****************** was made aware that the technician was out for the week and that the car would be worked on until the following week. The next week the technician began working on the vehicle and attempted to replicate the problem described and was not able pinpoint the problem, requiring further inspection. At the same time, we experienced unexpected personnel changes which were beyond our control.  A second technician was added to the department and diagnosed the vehicle with needing its transmission replaced. The transmission was ordered, however, delivery was delayed. The transmission is scheduled to deliver today, 05/18/2023.  It will take approximately 8 hours to install the transmission. The vehicle will then need the transmission programmed by the local ********** dealer. Our service writer has been in communication with the ********** dealer in to have the vehicle programmed as soon as possible and avoid further delay.

This case was referred to the service manager who is in the process of updating the department's efficiency and customer service. The lack of communication was by no means purposeful, and rest assured the problem has been corrected, which will result in a more seamless service response and customer service satisfaction.

I attempted to update our response to complaint ID ******** but couldn't figure out how to, so I wanted to update you on this complaint:

I am happy to let you know that ***** and ***************************** were traded into another vehicle.  Our service department determined that a trade was a more efficient manner of helping the customer. The vehicle had a new transmission installed late last week, however, the vehicle continued to have issues. Instead of continuing to troubleshoot the vehicle, an offer to trade was extended to the Hoffmans to which they agreed.

They now have a different vehicle and are happy with it. Below is a screen shot of the ****** review they left **.
