    4/13; drainage through secondary line/cooling issue diagnosed by Service One Air (SOA) SOA noted the following on diagnostic report (attached); whoever installed the condenser did not match it with inside tonnage. Outside unit is bigger than inside. Causing unit to freeze. Everything is working just freezing up. Recommend replacing indoor unit to match condenser. 5/19; SOA installed new 2.0 ton air handler. Unit continued to drain through secondary line/would not cool several hours after installation. SOA returned same day to inspect newly installed unit; tech advised drain pan full of water. *** said they emptied drain pan to resolve the problem. SOA disconnected float switch. 5/20; I emailed SOA back to report continued leak through secondary line/ failure to cool. 5/31; SOA supervisor **** returned for inspection; reported air handler installed with missing primary condensate line. Suggested sump pump to resolve drainage problem. 6/21; *********************** installed missing drain line. Drainage through secondary line stopped completely. New leak formed from units drain pan. Unit only cooled at night. 6/28; unit inspected by **************** (see attachment) 7/5; SOA returned for inspection of drain pan leak/refrigerant loss/cooling issue. SOA tech re-routed secondary drain line, added .5 lb refrigerant. SOA technician unable to confirm reason for refrigerant loss, advised 1.5 lb loss in 48 days is normal. Unit began draining through secondary line again; SOA tech advised drainage through secondary line would stop once drain pan emptied. 7/6; I notified SOA Chief Operations Officer ********************* drainage/cooling issue not resolved after 7/5 inspection. No follow up response received. 7/13; I emailed SOA with demand for a full refund; $2988. SOA previously refunded me $195 for permit that was not required or never pulled. 7/14; SOA CEO ******************* responded to my 7/13 email (attached). No resolution reached. 7/14; I emailed CEO back. As of today 7/27/23, I have not gotten any written response / phone call/refund from Service One Air in reference to refund request or AC issues. Unit still will not cool properly. *** refuses to do any further troubleshooting. Seeking refund $2988.

    This company was sent to me through American Home Shield. After coming to my house because my AC was not cooling, they determined that the furnace control board needed to be replaced and proceeded to charge me $1075 for a new furnace control board. When the guy came out and installed it, it blew and shorted out. Then a salesman from service one. Air contacted me and told me that it would be better to get a new furnace and AC and said they would deduct what I spent on the control board but if I used another company, I would not get the almost $1100 refunded. I got a second opinion and was able to get a new motor and control board for $795 total from another company.They did profit from me and price gouged to me. I also do not recommend American Home Shield at all. They are useless..
