They don't cover 100% of everything, especially labor. I have a 2018 ***************** and there are only a few places willing to work on them and the dealership charges $250 per hour and EFG only pays $166 per hour. I just had to take it in twice for to the turbo going out, updating software, and now the fuel pump went out. I've already paid $600 out of pocket for the turbo and software update that was supposed to fix everything, and now the fuel pump replacement balance after EFG pays their tiny portion is $928. I thought the warranty company was supposed to cover everything in full, not just partially what they feel like. Plus, sometimes when I call, the reps have attitude. I'm just really disappointed in the lack of coverage. I don't have a lot of money I live paycheck to paycheck and this is really hurting me financially. The car has been in the shop for 2 months now and no rental car coverage so I'm either trapped inside or pay for a Lyft or rental car out of pocket. Not too mention the sunroof is still broken and since EFG only pays a certain amount for labor the remaining balance to fix that will be $1,500. Just kind of a waste of a warranty if you ask me. They warranty should cover whatever the repair shop charges labor wise, but not EFG. so disappointed.

EFG companies premium extended warranty drug my failed TURBO claim out for 7 months! My vehicle was taken to a certified **** dealership on July 7, 2023. After MANY MANY weeks of waiting for an inspector to come and look and then an approval for the repair, a broken in the box refurbished turbo was sent only to have to be sent back. After WEEKS of waiting for another Turbo, I was FINALLY able to pick up my vehicle in December and 10 mins after leaving the dealership the check engine light came on. After LOTS of back and forth phone calls to EFG (from me and the dealership), scheduled appointments for an inspector to come out again (3 times he didn't show), $1500 in rental car fees and TONS of frustration an inspector eventually showed and EFG denied the failed turbo. 7 MONTHS FOR ALL OF THIS!!!! ERG you owe me ADDITIONAL premium extended warranty time. You should be ashamed of how this -from JULY 7. 2023 to January 19, **** -was handled. It's quite obvious you care nothing about your customers nor do you work in a honest productive way.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! If you see this companies name associated with an extended auto warranty offered to you through a dealership, RUN, do not walk away from the table. At the time I was sold this EFG companies premium extended auto warranty and was told it was bumper to bumper. I have meticulously taken care of this vehicle with regular oil changes and have mostly highway miles on it. At 73K miles, the engine randomly misfired.I brought it to a private mechanic who recommended full engine replacement. A claim was filed with EFG companies. They didnt even assign the claim until 4 days had passed and was only assigned at that point because I called to follow up about their lack of response to my mechanic. My mechanic said I did nothing that would have lead to this happening. It is a manufacturing defect, and also a known issue for many of Hyundais engines from this time period. Their powertrain adjuster, *********************, also stated on the phone with me that I did nothing wrong as the vehicle owner. BUTHe saw carbon on the valve head of cylinder 3, so he denied the claim because on page 4 of their contract it lists carbon build up as a cause of failure they would not cover. The whole time I was in communication with the mechanic asking them if there was any way for EFG Companies to try to back out of their contract with me. They repeatedly told me how based on their professional opinion as certified automotive mechanics, there was little compelling evidence for EFG to use to void my coverage. Folks, there isnt a car on the road that doesnt have some evidence of carbon. There is absolutely no way for EFG companies to prove that the carbon they saw in a photograph was the CAUSE of failure of my vehicle. They used a common occurrence as a scapegoat to get off the hook with honoring my contract with them. They dragged this entire charade out for almost a month, stringing me along and not responding to my mechanic in a timely manner.

We purchased a 2018 gmc ****** **** in mid March 2023. My truck has been sitting in the shop now for 9 weeks because they are dragging their feet on every level they this whole process. Every working day I contact the mechanic and every day its waiting for a call back from efg and now they are waiting on the motor to come. Which is a whole another story. They didn't want to replace motor originally until the adjuster came out and then they decided to just replace the motor but not a new motor. I'm getting a used motor with 50, 000 milesalready on it!!! FOR REAL!!!! Totally BS!!! What kind of coverage is that. That's like you send your covered phone in uner warranty because it's broke and they send you somebody else's used phone because it's works.... what a joke. And not to mention I'm still going to owe the shop $600 for what ever it is they are not covering plus $200 deductible on top of paying the truck payment for 2 months they have been twiddling their thumbs over there and paying a private owner for 2 months for a vehicle to be able to go to work. Gmc and this warranty is a joke.

Purchased warranty from the bank for 7k. I was sold it was a bumper to bumper warranty that would fully cover my vehicle. My vehicle has been in the shop for a week and this company communication tactics are avoiding me at all cost. I would like my vehicle repaired or a full refund for this warranty that was never committed to covering my vehicle. I would not recommend this warranty EFG or MAP

I wish I could leave 0 stars. This company is horrible. They charge you an outrageous price to get an extended warranty and you pay a deductible of $100 dollars and then I still have to fork out $1400 dollars for my rear end differential replacement because they only pay partial limits. Read all contracts in the future. At the time of buying the car you are somewhat blindsided when the extended warranty is offered. ****** learned. I will never purchase a vehicle backed by this companies obsurd warranty ever again.

I purchased a 2020 ***** Colorado with 19k miles on it. I got it off a Porsche dealership in *** and the original owner had a ******* supercharger package installed on it. As per recommendation from the dealership I purchased an extended Premium warranty from EFG Will full coverage since ***** will usually not cover a claim on a modified vehicle. The engine lost compression on one cylinder two years into the contract and the local ***** dealership says it needs a new engine ($11k). EFG is refusing to honor the stated terms of the warranty because the engine should still be covered by the manufacturer warranty. But its not, which is the exact reason I paid for the warranty. Their warranty is intended to cover the vehicle as purchased. I guess its true when they say that insurance companies are all corrupt and will always try to s**** you.

If you wanna be stranded without your vehicle for long periods of time, purchase this warranty.. This will be the 3rd time I've used this service.. all three times I was without my vehicle for 3+ weeks.. it takes them 7 days to evaluate the damage and approve repairs... they use parts off wrecked vehicles... they will only pay 5 days for a rental... and they will take 2 weeks to ship the parts.. The customer service department is filled with rude people that will not give you any kind of help or information.. For instance all I asked for was the tracking information on my parts and the refused to give it to me.. Which leads me to believe they haven't even shipped parts yet and it's been 2 weeks. The fact that they only give you 5 days for a rental when it took them 7 days to evaluate my claim is ridiculous.. A job that hould only take 3 days will turn into 3 weeks. This is unacceptable... being stranded at home with a 6 month only baby and almost losing my job over these people's lack of urgency... I paid good money for this service (this is my second policy) and still zero respect from these people Buyer beware.. Don't get stranded

EFG referred me to on their preferred local repair shop. My car ended up being there for 48 hours and I was charged $190 for diagnostics fee. Only to find out it was the purge valve, the ** Delco part totaled $55 and was not covered. I'm most upset because this was a shop I had to go to because of the warranty. I could have had the code read for free at Advanced Auto Parts. This would have taken minutes, free of charge and no lost time with my vehicle. As a result I canceled the warranty within the first 60 days and now I am being told it can take 6-8 weeks for the refund to be applied to my auto loan. In the mean time, interest is accruing on the $1900 the warranty cost.

We received for the 3rd time a letter that made it look like it was from our home warranty company (there was their name in the cut-out of the envelope). It keeps saying that this is "The final attempt to contact you" (as is the usual scam letter, but we've gotten manyt of these letter from them). It imples that our warranty is about to expire (not true) and that we will be "financially liable for any and all repairs," On the envelope and letter there is no company name (it's actually 4EverHomes, USA, according to the phone representative, which is owned by Enterprise) and no return address. No way to verify information. From friends we had already heard about high prices and great difficulty in canceling (as the other reviews said). Why oh way does this company want to scam people like this? What happened to morals and good upbringing?? Hope they'll change their tactics soon. There are better ways to make money other than cheating people.
