      I am writing to formally file a complaint against Abry Brothers, a foundation repair company that claims to have been in business since 1840, and which promotes a "lifetime warranty" on its *********** 2021, I purchased a home in *********, *********, which had foundation repair work completed by Abry Brothers prior to my purchase. The home came with a lifetime transferable foundation warranty, as documented in an engineering report prepared at the time of sale. The report confirmed that the foundation was stable and referenced the warranty, which was a significant factor in my decision to purchase the *********** 2024, I began experiencing serious plumbing issues, including:Sewage backing up into bathtubs and under toiletsThe need to plunge sinks and tubs to allow them to drainSignificant structural shifting and movement in the foundationSubsequent inspections have confirmed that these issues are directly caused by foundation failure.I contacted Abry Brothers and was told they no longer operate in my area and are "independently owned." However, they are using the same name, website, branding, and claims of longstanding history, creating the appearance of a single, unified company offering national service with lifetime warranties.This is a serious case of misrepresentation, and the companys refusal to honor its warranty has caused me financial and emotional distress due to property damage, expensive plumbing repairs, and loss of trust.I request that the BBB investigate this companyI have documentation of the engineering report, photos and videos of damage, proof of home purchase, and a timeline of all contact attempts with the company. I am willing to provide these upon request.Thank you for your attention to this matter.       I have received your letter to the abovementioned complaint. The complaint is from a customer in *********, ***, ***** *******.   Abry Brothers, **** has not worked in *********, **, nor has Abry Brothers, **** worked for ***** *******, or at that ********* address.
      I suspect that Ms. ******* contracted with ***********************  This is a separate and distinct entity from Abry Brothers, ****
      There was a licensing agreement with **************  Foundation Repair in *****. This agreement provides that they may use the Abry name, marketing materials, and technologies used in the foundation repair business. 
      This licensing agreement between Abry Brothers, **** and ********* L.P. in ***** specifically excluded ********* and *********************  
      This is a distinctly different company; we are not partners, nor is there any ownership of the Texas entity. They do not have ownership in my company.
      Abry Brothers, **** was not involved in any way contracting with or making repairs at the Pineville address.

      I have not been able to get in touch with this company for Warranty work, they operate under new names Foundation Md and RL Nelson all dealing with foundation. They use the same number but different names. I want my warranty to be honored!

      On 8/28/16 Arby Brothers Foundation Repair came out and to do my foundation and I paid $6500. They were to provide a structural inspection and they leveled the house foundation. I was given a certificate that stated that the repair has a "Mega-Pier Lifetime Foundation Warranty" for my home address. I have called 5 different phone numbers that are associated with Arby Brother to see about repairing my foundation and only the ************** is in service. I have called this number several times and it seems to be an answering service. I have left several message over the past month with no call back.

      Had foundation work to prevent sinking/shifting back in 2017 from Abry Bros. They installed piers under the house. Work has a lifetime warranty. They assured me repeatedly shifting would stop after work. It never did. During the work they destroyed the brickwork on the front porch despite them promising they wouldn't do that. It took 4 months to get them to resolve and repair and even then they had to use bricks I had instead of supplying replacements. It took them subsequently 2 years (2019) before they sent me the warranty document (attached).

      In 2022 I contacted them for warranty work several times, no response. I gave up. And now a year later, as settling continues to get worse, I have done the same, with no response. I called and was answered once but when I was asked if the call was for new or warranty work I said warranty and they then disappeared. The house has shifted considerably from when they did work, major cracks in the walls and I'm afraid I've got a ticking time bomb here.

      I'd prefer resolving this through BBB without court costs and hassle. I just want them to honor their warranty and repair the damage from not responding when I first asked.

      On 12/28/11, Abry Brothers repaired my house foundation for $10,520 with a lifetime guarantee.
      I have been calling Abry Brothers for two years but no response. I have called left messages.
      Now, when I call the phone number , I had from original paperwork, the number is not working. I called other phone numbers of Abry locations in Houston but all numbers not working.
      I was impressed with Abry Brothers originally but when I needed warranty work done there has been no response.

      30K spent on foundation work under the premise the work was guaranteed. I have more issues and a new company is telling me it’s going to cost 50K. Abry Brothers cannot be reached.
