I'm owed a settlement payment through Archer Systems that has been on hold since 2023. Anytime I call to get information, there's some kind of issue holding them back from releasing the money. Waiting for this money is doing damage to me financially, and I'm strongly considering legal action to hold them accountable for their part in the payment of this settlement. All I need is for them to stop profiting off my money by holding it and deliver what I'm owed.

I can’t at all get ahold of Archer systems. During the camp fire in Paradise Ca they were giving out settle meant checks, I got 2 of mine and cashed 1 but when I was trying to cash the other check the bank said it wouldn’t go through and I was told to get a replacement. Nobody will pick up or email back I just want my second check. I’ve emailed, sat on hold for 20 minutes before it taking me to voicemail countless amounts of times. Nobody will pick up

This is in regards to the Roundup settlement. My representing Lawyer ******** ******** out of ******* was able to get me a settlement over a number of years. The initial settlement was paid and their fee extracted. There was some $23,000 left for ********/******** to make a claim on for health services such as my cancer treatments and two hip replacements. ******** said that they would negotiate with the government to get as much as possible of that 2nd sum remaining. Over the course of 2024 it was in the hands of the government. I checked in with the lawyers ever month or so. They always said that the government was handling it. They also had me sign a document, which brings Archer Systems into the equation, they handling the payment on the first check I received. Long after the government decision was to have been made, I received no letter or notice from the government, ******** ********, or Archer Systems as to what, if anything would be sent to me. Upon calling Archer, they seemed shifty, saying I was getting nothing back, did not answer why I did not get a notice from them or the government. They said I had to wait 6 months to ask for documentation from them. ******** has all along said that the usually they take 40% to 60%. I did some research and Archer has been been the subject of lawsuits in **** and ***** for this same thing. Not telling me, and not being up front screams impropriety. I contacted ******** as well, and got 1 phone call, leaving no message, and neither has emailed me.

Archer Systems are contracted as a disbursement company for a lawsuit from the Paradise campfire. They were given the funds for both myself and thousands of other people who lost everything in a fire.I returned the required docusign on 5/31/24 at approximately 6 am. They told me by phone that it would be 7 to 10 days for me to receive the check. I have made several calls to Archer Systems and my lawyers Archer refused any attempt to find out what the delay is..I spoke to a man who claimed to be the manager he told me that I should be patient and to deal with it. It is millions of dollars they are keeping from the victims of the fire.and are refusing to be accountable.I was even told again last week my check would be here early this week...and of course it is not.they are making money from using the victims and this is unacceptable. It is now 34 days and counting When they. Get around to it is not ok.we can't pay our bills and buy groceries by just saying well maybe next week.

I have received a letter from Archer regarding a settlement. The document was docu-signed on 8/25 and it stated that the check would be RECEIVED within 3-4 weeks. We are going into week 6 and there is nothing coming from Archer. They are very rude on the phone, no one knows anything other than "the check is coming". I keep getting a runaround and I desperately need this money to come in. No one will give me a timeline and a "supervisor" will not call back when requested. What is happening here? Do I need to hire an attorney to get my money from these "administrators"? Are they sitting on this money to collect interest? I need help and I am afraid I won't get it seeing all other people's experience on the BBB website.

I have been getting the run around and have been misinformed, mistreated, discriminated against by this monstrosity.I call... And wait.. call and wait Do you know it takes days to get a call back... and that's their normal business practice!* for a business handling huge amounts of other people's money...These people should get into a different business... They're not good at this... or serving people.I've never had so much frustration trying to get my own money from a financial institution in my life!I'm filing complaints everywhere against them... and my attorney who grossly misrepresented me... In part, by allowing these , blankity blanks...To get anywhere near my money for any reason... clearly they are somehow rewarded by slow paying, or not paying people they owe... Interest rates are high, and I allege they're purposefully withholding millions of dollars unethically and illegally for financial gain.I allege they're insolvent... mismanaged, incompetent... And this is why they ignore everyone they owe money to, and why they don't do what they are supposed to do. Pay out settlements! If your thinking of hiring these guys.Reconsider. I'm blaming my attorney for getting me involved with them, and it's not going well for him.

      Regards,

The business is withholding ******** it was supposed to send months ago... without cause. And they are saying the same lie every time I do speak to them.  To check back in a couple weeks... It's infuriating.  I think they're insolvent!  And incompetent!  ILLEGALLY providing fiduciary services without proper licensing.  I asked for the regulatory agency to complain and they lie. And say that they have no regulation for their business.
