      This is a review for Expedia, since its your alt name.I need help to get my money back from Expedia for FALSE BOOKING INFO. My Expedia booking is for Aug-28-Sept 1, 2024. Booking details included Junior Suite Swim up-King, balcony/patio with Ocean view, Club level-club lounge access, among others. A few days before, I messaged the hotel to confirm my booking and its details. I was told that my booking doesnt include an ocean view and the club level. Those 2 are upgrades and was asked if I wanted to avail myself, of course, extra charge. I had an Expedia agent confirm my booking details & inclusions (which of course, included those 2 upgrades, I paid for them during booking) and told the agent to e-mail the hotel reservations directly so communication must be between them. In other words, my booking and its details from Expedia were not honored by the hotel and as expected, we had a hard time checking in which took almost 2 hrs. It was too much hassle and ruined our vacation mood from the beginning. Both parties, Expedia and the hotel were blaming each other and no one ever admitted who was at fault. I was given false booking upgrade details by Expedia, and the hotel was also firm by saying it wasnt the hotel room class that was booked. Ending: we were given a regular Junior Suite-Swim up king ( NO OCEAN VIEW), and the Club level access was given as a complementary. So, Expedia was offering me a $ credit to compensate, obviously, a mistake they never admitted. But, the credit they were offering doesnt even match a 1-night stay I paid for, saying that is the best possible solution they can offer!Do you think I will have confidence in using a credit and considering you for future bookings if this one was messed up big time? I need my money back! It was Expedias fault for lying to me about my booking details! Something I spent a lot on but didnt get what I paid for.
