    Hidden fees doubled the billing. The email confirmation included itinerary details but no billing fees. I was charged over $380 for one flight and over $500 in hidden fees for a second flight. I didnt know about these charges, as they were not itemized on the email confirmation, until I saw my credit card statement.

    Complaint Against: Travelocity To Whom It May Concern,I am filing this complaint to formally report the mishandling of my travel booking through Travelocity and the unacceptable treatment I received from their management team.I purchased a flight package through Travelocity using the Affirm app, which financed the total cost of the trip. Affirm confirmed that they paid Travelocity in full on my behalf, and I am responsible for paying Affirm back through scheduled monthly payments. However, Travelocity falsely claimed that the ticket was never fully paid for.When I called customer service, a manager named ***** insisted that it doesnt work that way and refused to acknowledge that the trip had already been paid for. If using Affirm results in this kind of confusion and mistreatment, then Travelocity should not offer it as a payment option at all it misleads and ultimately ***** customers.Despite already paying for my full package of over $1,000, I was told I had to pay an additional $450 just to be placed on the same flight. After arguing, the manager eventually applied a $100 voucher, reducing the total to $350, which I still refused to pay because I had already paid in full through Affirm.I filed a complaint against Travelocity with Affirm, and they are now conducting their own investigation. I am filing this BBB complaint to make it clear that Travelocity mishandled the transaction and failed to provide the service I paid for.I am requesting the following:A full refund for the trip I paid for but was denied access to.A formal written apology from Travelocity for their poor service, misinformation, and unprofessional conduct.This experience caused unnecessary financial strain, wasted time, and emotional stress. I expect to be compensated appropriately and to see Travelocity held accountable for this unacceptable treatment of paying customers.

    ******** customer service. 0 out of 10 stars. ********************** had trouble processing my payment. After i spoke with my bank, I realized it was Travelocitys fault. I spent an hour on the phone with customer service and got no where. My fight is no longer available due to Travelocitys mistake. Very disappointed & my travel plans are ruined. Do not recommend using them for anything.

    BETTER READ THE FINE PRINT!!! My wife and I booked a vacation with Travelocity and FOOLISHLY BOUGHT TRAVEL INSURANCE!! The resort was experiencing massive amounts of sargassum (seaweed) which made the beach at the resort unavailable. The reason we even booked it was because our friends were celebrating their 40th anniversary. When they found out about the issues with the beach, they backed out. (They were smart enough to NOT use Travelocity). We paid $5200.00 for the package but only were refunded $3200.00 when we cancelled the trip. I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS ON BBB INSTEAD OF THEIR WEBSITE!! The resort was chosen by our friends and after some investigation, the resort had crappy reviews on Trip Advisor and other sites as well. Take my advice, book your own travels!!

    Booked a flight ********* to ****** with ********** on Travelocity. I did a chat with Travelocity to see if I could change my ticket dates. They said no. I contacted ********** just to verify and received same answer. A few minutes later I get an email telling me I cancelled my flight. Travelocity blamed AC. ************* confirmed with me that Travelocity cancelled it, they could see IP address in ***** that did it and they could do nothing for me. It was non refundable ticket. I had to rebook and more than double the price. The fight with Travelocity was endless but once they knew I was going to file a chargeback with my bank they refunded me the money stating it was still AC's fault. I asked them who was going to cover my difference in price? They were acting as my agent. They should cover me and deal with it however as I did not cancel my flight myself. They claim to have no knowledge of IP address to trace etc etc. I said I find that hard to believe that your techs cannot access that information.I am still battling and filing about the difference I had to pay. They were upset that I cancelled my Car rental with them. I asked them how do you know I did it if you cannot see IP address? Of course they were caught off guard and cannot answer that.Its pretty clear that when I chatted online with agent to ask about changing my flight they cancelled it. I downloaded entire chat. Not once did I say cancel nor did they ask me if I wanted to cancel. Travelocity needs to own up to their error.More and more horror stories of this company. They need to be shut down. Someone needs to take out class actions for some of this stuff.Great for searching for different flights but from now on I will book directly with airline once I choose my path.

    DO NOT RESERVE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY !!!I had a flight reservation that I attempted to cancel within 24 hours and they refused to cancel with different stupid reasons. US law allow for cancellation within 24 hours. I am going to complain to the State of **********.

    I have used Travelocity for years and generally rely upon it. But this time I rented a car through Travelocity from an off-brand named Nu in *******. Unfortunately there was no indication that this agency was well off the airport site and even well off of the car rental center that you get to by train. So late at night we have to walk ************ the dark below the car rental center and wait for a shuttle to pick us up and drive us through a sketchy part of town where we arrive and what looks like and abandoned warehouse and deal with an agent who assures me that I must get insurance because neither my travel insurance nor my own personal car insurance will ever cover the cost of a vehicle if I get in an accident. I refused it but the pressure was very substantial. I was also told that I did not need to bring the car back full because they're charged per gallon was 40% below the surrounding area at $3.49. When my final bill came at the end of our 3 days I was overcharged by $30, not enough for most people to complain so they can get away with it consistently, but more than travelocity had promised in the breakdown of costs that supposedly included all fees. CAVEAT EMPTOR!When renting cars from off-brand agencies be sure to check whether it is on site with other major brands or off-site. In this case there was no indication. And travelocity should not be working with companies that put sketchy salesman in a position of pressuring clients in a private space at night in the sketchy building.

    If I could leave no stars I would. Terrible customer service. I had to cancel a booking and when I cancelled it their employee said I would get a full refund. After dealing with the company they didnt give me or approve my refund and blamed the other company. So they have employees guarantee something and then they dont follow through. One of the worse experiences of my life and will NEVER EVER use this service again! TERRIBLE!!!!!!

    If I could leave a zero I would. Travelocity is extremely misleading and unwilling to fix any errors that may occur in their bookings. I attempted to rent a car and they rented me a ride from the airport to my hotel for ******. When I brought up that I do not need this service and i need a car to spread my mother and sisters ashes they did not seem to care and told me I had to spend a good amount of time trying cancel it myself. The customer service people were impossible to understand and refused to do anything about it. They were extremely misleading and took no responsibility for taking up so much of my time and money.
