      On move out day they claimed to have picked up 2 trash bags full and when I requested the pictures they didnt respond. They submitted my account to a collections agency without notifying me of the debt or giving me an opportunity to dispute or pay the balance. Have outrageous charges and claims of cleaning done by them

      Since September 1, 2022, new management entered the Verge at Midtown in Dallas, *****. Before said date, the apartment complex needed repairs to the laundry facilities. Many of the washers were not working. New management stated that repairs would be handled as soon as they could find a more economic contractor for repairs. As of February 22, 2023, the repairs have not been made causing inconvenience for the residents and me as we are forced to wash and dry clothes at a laundromat.

      original unit was not ready due to a city water leak took 9 months to fix a porch light Neighboring unit caught fire asked for cleaning due to smoke damage moisture caused mold to grow in vents on baseboards ruined a leather couch. Manager walked the unit to address the issues and still nothing was fixed. The manager approved the replacement cost it took 3 months she kept blaming corporate, corporate said she never sent the request. They allowed her to move units due to the mold since she was always sick date kept getting moved the day of move in they asked we wait until late in the afternoon due to it still not being ready the the repairs were rushed When the check for the coach finally came they would not release to my daughter who is the tenant and made me drive from ******* to pick it up While there I expressed all my concerns on how long the process took along I expressed my concerns about the murder that happened less than 50 yards from her door notification came when the homicide detective knocked on her door. He had no idea about the murder, said no one from the property had informed him or corporate of this also discussed the upstairs neighbor was parking in the reserved spot the office ladies said well go tell them It's your spot. That incident escalated where the police came due to threats I was told that a note would be placed in her file and she can leave at anytime without paying a fee or any consequences. 2/13/2023 with the increase of violent crimes at the complex we have put in an application for a new complex The request was sent for rental verification and I was informed that ***** apartments said that we will owe a fee. This was not the original agreement if i owe a fee to move should Then I would like lost wages dr ***** paid back refund for the lights i bought. Since the murder there has been another shooting breaking and entering drug labs sexual assault and ****. I told ****** from the office this and she laughed and said nothing has happened

      I have sent several emails with no response I will be sending an email again to the email that was provided to as requested but do not have any confidence that this time I will receive a response. I have attached the emails that I have send in the past with no response.

      I have sent several emails along with a certified letter to the property. Todate the only response that I have received if from the property themselves in the form of a bill by email from a collection company as well as a phone call from the collection company on my daughters phone. There has been no attempts to contact me by the property or this corporate office. I followed the request that was previously done by sending an email but am still being ignored. They are not worried about addressing any issues just collecting there rents. This is an unsafe place. On the date the we moved from there property I have photos of officers looking from someone due to a aggravated assault. The office was open and the officer's my base the front office to enter where they did. Did they attempt to contact the residents no. They have kept their word on any aspect of this complain from honoring the agreement for the lease to be cancelled with no penalty ro responding to the email to address the concerns. Very unacceptable and unprofessional.

      I have contacted the property several times by phone at their request. Have left several messages with no return call received if they would like to speak with me they can call me at ************ or responded to any of my emails at ******************** since I have not received an email reply either as predicted. They have now sent a bill stating that I moved from the property on April 20 but I have a delivery receipt of notice of vacating and return of the keys showing a move out date in early march. They had their collections department contact me in may about the payment but never sent the itemized statements as the lease stated that they would with the 30 days of move out notice.

      The pipes busted at the branch on medical center right before Christmas. Since my sister was out of town she couldn't report but it was obvious management had already been in the apartment to check the issues. It has now been 3 weeks of untreated water damage which has caused the mold from underneath the floor to rise through the walls cabinets and every corner of the unit. The management has dodged my calls regarding the owner and corporation contact information.

      I have lived in The ***** apartment since December 2020, and they recently changed ownership on 9/28/2022 and everything went downhill since then. 1. There have been multiple times that the office cut off water without informing any of the tenants prior 2. They have done no repairment to the broken shared laundry machines since 9/28/2022 I have contacted the office to terminate my lease on 12/21/2022 with no further renewal and received approval on 10/7/2022 via email. However there have been some absurd charges showed up on my account since then: 1. Renters Insurance Premium for November and December: $25 each month and the total of $50, even I have purchased my own renters insurance and provided proof of it multiple times 2. Non-prorate rent amount for December 2022, even I have communicated before about the termination of my lease and move-out date. 3. Late Charge Fees of $99.9 of the non-prorate rent amount of December. For 2 and 3, the office insisted I need to pay full rent amount for December regardless of my lease termination, and they said "the prorate amount will be reflected only you turn in the keys, and refund will be issued once due". I have no trust in this management office and don't feel comfortable paying the extra amount I don't own them and receive refund later based on all the terrible management work they have done so far. This complaint will be the first step, if things do not get resolved, I will file a lawsuit against the management office.

      used to be a renter here in 2019 and also work in the property management industry. They have placed a balance on my credit report and sent me to collections after written proof of signing my name off of a lease and paying their re let fee's. Once I reached out to the staff originally about a strange email.************** never responded to me. I have all documents stating that I was no longer in that apartment and no one reached out to me about any issues until now 2022.. this is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be justified. I will be filing a complaint legally as well. DO NOT RENT HERE unless you want your credit to be affected years later with no knowledge to you. Again, I have worked in this industry for a few years and what they have done is illegal.

      1) Requested service on A/C unit which got half way handled but left an exposed cord on ceiling and now we have a window that can't close 2) Paid pet fees and deposits sometime last year but just got charged 150 dollars for the same thing 4 or 5 times and they still haven't fixed that, they basically told me that there was nothing they could do and then said any damages due to the pet would be charged to the account.

      In an attempt to move to Austin for work on June 4th, 2022 - I applied to 2 apartments. The **** (BBB complaint ID#: ********) and The *******. Despite sending them a message through their 'contact us' / 'message us' portal on May 16th, with questions regarding my interests in the unit, they never followed up or reached out. As a fail safe with the issues experienced with another unit, I applied to the ******* on 5/23/2022. I paid a total of $465.01 ($55 application fee, $100 Admin Fee, and $300 Security Deposit, plus the taxes/processing fees through their applicant portal). I found out on May 26, 2022 that my application was denied due to them being an income-restricted or income based apartment (*NOTE: nothing on their website advised that but that was the explanation I was advised when I called to verify my denial on May 26, 2022. Upon calling their office and being advised why I was denied, the leasing agent advised that since I did NOT qualify for the apartment due to my income exceeding the maximum income-limit -- I'd get my money back. No refund voucher, confirmation or anything was supplied.. the ONLY thing advised was the manager would process it in their system. I've since initiated a dispute with my banking institution and advised of the ordeal. The merchant, ******* has since replied to the dispute advising that goods were as described and received in good condition" - what does that even mean considering I didn't get the service I was intending to because I 'made to much money' per the agent in their leasing office back on 5/26/2022. Regardless of the non-refundable application fee ($55) and administrative fee ($100).. I should get refunded for the $300 security deposit I paid to secure the unit. Of course, since filing the dispute, I've lost access to the applicant portal - unable to verify the cost breakdown when I applied to them.. luckily I wrote everything down for my personal reference.

      On Oct.3rd myself and two friends, senior citizens, took **** for a 7-10 ride. One passenger *** a walker. When I got my bill there was an extra charge for $150.00 for maintenance. We were told there were damages to the car, the driver has a receipt for the damages and we are responsible. We went directly from our pick up spot to our destination with no incidents and were never told about any damages. **** will not remove the charges or even tell us what the damages we allegedly caused. When trying to register this complaint on ****'s Facebook page I'm cut off.

      On Exactly Aug 26th my water pipes busted in my apt causing flooding & ceiling damage causing me & my 4 kids to go stay with family the apartment is bug infestation thr carpet is ruined I have been telling them that my restroom toilets weren't working properly I have also asked for a new unit several times but only get told they are working on it I also have been approved for rental assistance thru Texas rent relief & they still saying I owe a balance I believe they are stealing our checks I have not been able to live in my apt since aug 26th I should get paid for my inconvenience & suffering for being displaced I've had to throw away my furniture & clothes
